Good atmosphere, large room, good food, good service but very loud inside to point where I had to go outside to have a conversation

I was fortunate enough to work a wedding at this gorgeous location in Michigan City and had an absolutely fabulous experience, not only at the venue, but working with the entire Barrelhouse staff. They were wonderful and accommodating and did everything they could to make the day a smashing success! So grateful for them and this wonderful place!

Were having our wedding in October, but we cant get in touch with dining to confirm some questions that weve been trying to have answered for months. Hope someone can reach out to us.

All I can say is WOW! The venue is Amazing. The upscale garage type doors were fully open when I was there. This brought the outdoors in, which made it easy to social distance in a well ventilated space while enjoying friends and having fun. The exposed brick, modern industrial vibe, and attention to detail make the space perfect for gatherings large and small. I would highly recommend it to my friends and family for group meetings, holiday parties, celebrations and weddings.It’s great to see a place like The Barrelhouse at Zorn in Michigan City!

We had our wedding here with past October. This company is split into two parts. Barrelhouse is the venue and Zorn is the brewery. Barrelhouse was absolutely wonderful to work with throughout the experience. The venue was beautiful and the Zorn bar staff members serving us were amazing. We are lovers of craft beer! One of the reasons we chose this venue was because it was promoted that they could brew a beer for us on our wedding day. Then we were told after the fact by Zorn that they couldnt brew a beer for us. This was at 2 or 3 months ahead of time. If it is important to have a craft beer brewed at your wedding, make sure it is official before signing the contract. For our wedding day, we chose 2 beers weeks ahead of time to serve during the reception. On the actual wedding day, the bar manager failed to tell us one of the beers were out and picked one to serve at our wedding for us without asking us first. It didn’t ruin the day, but is more of a courtesy to inform the bride or groom of any last minute changes. With that said, I would still highly recommend this venue!

The space itself was beautiful. Event/bar staffing kinda disorganized.

Barrelhouse at Zorn is such a wonderful addition to Michigan City. We loved doing business with such enthusiastic trustworthy people. They went above and beyond to make our celebration extra special. I highly recommend this venue.

I have attended several events at Barrel House. The atmosphere is PERFECTION!. Love the space, food and bar service have always been excellent.

Barrelhouse at Zorn has a perfect blend of historic and modern design! A unique gathering space so different than a typical hotel space.

The personal attention received for a family event exceeded expectations! In addition the space was perfect, the food fabulous, and we are looking forward to the next opportunity to return to The Barrelhouse at Zorn!
