Im am a very happy customer. Yesterday, I noticed this company trimming trees at a property down the street from me. So, I walked up to the gentleman who appeared to be in charge (learned later that his name is Nelson). I asked him about Palms near my driveway and if he could trim them because when they fall they are heavy and last month one of them shattered my wifes windshield (insurance replaced it thankfully.. and, although she was in the car, my wife just got shook up a bit).Nelson took the time to walk my property the very same day and gave me a detailed opinion of what should be done on my property - in fact, he mentioned two other things that I should have told him myself. He offered to trim the trees and get rid of the seeds, remove a tree and stump that was about to get under my house foundation and cut off a very large tree branch that was going be a problem in a storm near my bedroom window. I called Sunshine Tree Trimming by chance and I’m glad I did. We have used them a few times now and they were always very speedy to get out and quote the jobs, the estimates were good. Then once I accepted, they were quick to start the job. As for the job... they did a great job. Worked hard and long (HOT!) days to get the job done. They always completed the jobs ahead of schedule.They also were willing to work on a Saturday to get one of the jobs done. Work went very smoothly, from my first contact with them on their website, resulting in a phone call and an arrangement for a crew chief to come give me an estimate. Carlos arrived and assessed the need and then I responded to an email that I got a couple of days later that contained an estimate, which I accepted. The work was scheduled promptly and Carlos continued to be in touch about the day they would be here, since I had said I was flexible. Carlos and an assistant arrived at the appointed time and worked with a bucket truck, and also with manually operated pole cutters from the ground, where possible. The work was done very well and the clean-up (into a pile for a bulky waste pick-up by the county) was thorough. I am completely satisfied.

Nelson and his team were great! We called for a quote on Saturday and they were out there getting the job done on Sunday morning. They were able to remove two big trees in our yard with no issues. All of the crew was very knowledgeable and friendly. It took them about 5 hours to get the job done and Nelson also gave us some advice for our landscaping.

Besides being overgrown, FPL basically cut half of my tree off a few months ago and it just looked terrible. Nelson and his guys came in, lifted and trimmed the oak. They also balanced it out as much as the nearby power lines allowed. All the debris was neatly stacked for pick up in my ally as well.We have a good looking tree again that’s not covering half of our house. We found Sunshine Tree Trimming while searching for local tree trimming companies on Google. Sunshine Tree Trimming was the fourth company we called regarding an estimate to trim some trees and remove a vast amount of vines and shrubbery. The first three companies had various prices, one was more than the estimate from Sunshine, and the other two were below. The determining factor for us was the interaction we had with Nelson.Upon calling Nelson for the very first time, he was very courteous and professional. He asked that we send pictures, as best we could, of the trees that needed to be serviced...looking back on it now, it was a real jungle!!! After sending the pictures, we arranged for Nelson to come and give us an estimate. Upon his timely arrival, Nelson immediately started naming the different trees that needed servicing, giving recommendations, and was very knowledgeable and upfront about all aspects that the service would entail. Nelson wrote an estimate, with every detail of the service, and included a discount if we made the decision within three days. Needless to say, the decision was made 24 hours later.Since there was rainy weather forecast over the weekend, Nelson sent us a text during the evening before the scheduled service, to remind us that, weather-permitting, they would be out to service us in the morning and would call before coming. I actually live 4 hours away so arranging payment took a bit of figuring out but even with my inability to be there in person to hand him payment he worked with me to figure out a solution that was very fair and generous. Our house is under contract to be sold and I had no hesitation passing along Nelsons info to the buyer for her future landscaping/tree needs. Cut down the trees as described. Needed to be more clear about removal of debris. Nelson left hug pile in front yard then advised me it will be more money to hall away or wait for the city. Make sure price quoted includes hall away if city does not do bulk pick up. My wast was not left in the designated pick up location and was not picked up until late I spoke with the driver.
