I’m a 59 year old man trying out Jujitsu for the first time and so far it has been a very positive experience. The ambiance and energy of the place is very friendly and welcoming. Good for someone like me that wants to get started at a slower more careful pace. That’s not to say it’s a bunch of old timers around. There a good mix of young and younger students alike. Beginner classes do not roll but advanced classes do of course. They have a all levels class where beginners can roll when they are ready. Master Rilion is very attentive and a true gentleman as are the other instructors. The locker room could be more spacious but who cares. Nothing is perfect. This place comes close.

I’ve been to plenty of gyms in my life and Master Rilion’s is by far the best for beginners and seasoned professionals alike. Masters Rilion and Rogan, along with Ricardo have improved my game immensely in a short period of time.

Amazing bjj facility for anyone interested in the sport. I used to train here years ago and then took a long break before returning. The vibe is still great and the instructors are world class. Master Rilion works along side his wife and son to create the best bbj studio in Miami. Class size is always enjoyable and they frequently have many black belts on site at the same time.

Professor Rilion and my instructor master Fabio trained together as young men in Brasil. Felt like I was rolling at my academy, great group of guys and excellent instruction. Would recommend this academy to all new and experienced practitioners.

Rilion Gracie Jiu Jitsu Academy is a great place to learn Jiu Jitsu from one of the most technical Experts anywhere. Master Gracie is an encyclopedia of different techniques and a great teacher. The vibe there is very friendly and welcoming. They make you feel like part of the Jiu Jitsu family. There are lots of training partners from every skill level that are always ready to help you learn. There are programs to teach kids self defense, as well as discipline, respect and confidence. The advanced classes can help you get in shape, or take you all the way to World Champion level.

Wish I would of found Jiujitsu as a kid. White belt at 30, bluebelt at 32 and still going. Cant think of a better way to increase your self control and confidence. Im highly addicted, I go there 5 times a week. Its a really introspective art that teaches you about yourself and others. Try it out for yourself, you wont be disappointed.

My son seems to have fun but I find that there are too many students in the class (22 in total and only two professors) lots of down time waiting around. I asked about another class but they said no that they would add a professor. Hasnt happened. Will more of than likely not renew contract. It was never disclosed how many kids would be in the class. dissapointed. .
