They have lowered my food stamp allowance to $19, Auguust and September. Now October they are going to give $20, who lives on this? I have reached out to my State Senator, Ileana Garcia, I have been unemployed since April and got a job for one week recently. This did not last long, they expected too much. I am not getting unemployment and food stamps are down to 20$, so much for politics

I went today to renew my case, and I got there at 9 it’s literally 3:00 and haven’t been attended yet, it’s insane, this people are extremely awful and slow, never in my life have I hated going to a place so much, it’s just beyond horrible, all day for something that should take 30 minutes, and then if you complain they act like you are exaggerating.
Horrible service. The appointment phone does not work Ive called the main office to complain. Completely disrespectful and mindless staff that is out of touch with the needs of the community. I basically had to do my case workers job for them by calling the main line and submitting my paper work and they are still sitting on their behinds while I need assistance.
This place like all government places is usually packed. They offer great service and are extremely helpful. They always have great staff well behaved and very respectful. They help you to their ultimate capacity. Always have a smile on their faces.
If you want to be seen I would advise to be here by 3pm! The office opens until 5pm but with how packed it gets and the time it takes to see people they stop accepting new clients around 3pm. Very rarely is this place empty.

Horrible customer service. They dont care about what you are going through. The light skin lady that took care of me just yawned the whole time I was requesting information from her. Made me feel like I have no human rights because I am at a Department of Children and Families center seeking help for myself and for my child. There is no respect here. Where can I report this?
Worker provided me information in Spanish when I told him I speak ENGLISH. Requested information and he gave the form to me in Spanish not English also was rushing me off like he really didnt want to assist me but the person before he took his time and spoke with them over 20 minutes yes I was checking my time because I had to pick my daughter up by 4:00 pm. Also another worker was assisting all the Spanish speaking clients making copies and speaking to the man at the desk.
Very poor customer services! Front desk and security were watching soccer and they couldn’t event answer a simple question. I got there at 1:54 pm and I was told by this “security” that they weren’t taking new people because it was too late. They close at 5.00pm!. I asked for a the name of the supervisor and he vaguely responded Osvaldo Cruz. Im assuming that person doesn’t even exist.
