Context: I started through my last employer with an amazing, well staffed recruiter agency called ASAP (highly recommended), who really cared EQUALLY for their staff, clients and recruits. The employer (client) had an agreement with CAREERXCHANGE to move their employees from ASAP to CAREERXCHANGE after being employed for over a year.Everyone at the employer had warned my coworkers and myself, whom were going to transition over to CX, regarding CAREERXCHANGE as a bad agency to work at for poor employee benefits and specifically warned everyone about Mr. Juan Centeno. As a professional, which I consider myself, I am deaf to gossip and never one to judge. I turned to CX (Mr. Centeno) for help and assistance with issues I was having at the employer. He (Mr. Centeno) asked me if I had an email of incidents (logs) that they could work with to interact with the employer and find common grounds in order to find a solution. The solution was (literally) an hour later, a reply to my email from Mr. Centeno, with CC to their lawyers firm, stating that I had violated my agreement “sharing confidential property” and I was relieved immediately from my position with the employer and consequently, with CAREERXCHANGE. As a result of my final days with the employer and recruiter agency, due to the amount of stress I was undergoing, I was medically diagnosed with a severe case of Shingles. Did I also mention CX never provided health insurance and I was in the transition of obtaining one after months of not being eligible for one through the new recruiter even though I had two and a half years of being employed with their client?In my professional opinion and personal experience, my review is as follows: I do not recommend working with CAREERXCHANGE. When there are issues with the employer (client), they do not use any sorts of professional empathy or just human empathy. They care solely about their clients, not recruits. No matter the issue. This is in regards with a specific employee of CX, but makes one question their overall moral values and ethics as a recruiter agency. I hope others had a better experience with CX when having issues at their employer.

Susan Rodriguez is one of the best agents I’ve ever worked with. I’ve work with prior staffing agencies before and have never experienced someone who is so nice, sweet and confident. She made me feel secure and was very enjoyable to speak with. She appreciated my experience, my work ethics and made sure I felt confident in myself. She is quick and efficient. The talent aquisition manager that was overseeing my account is Alexis, I must say that Ive had a really great experience with them. She was very hands on guiding me through the whole process and thorough communicating the policies, standards and guidelines of my assignment. I couldnt recommend them highly enough!

I paid out of pocket for a forklift license I apparently did not need.Response: Yes but you recommend and send people to get a license before they are placed. Not to mention it takes experience to learn not just one day of training.Response#2: You do not follow the rules of safety. You follow the rules of the insurance companies. If you followed the rules of safety you would not send someone to get a forklift license who has absolutely zero training on that or any other machine. As I said before, it takes more than one hour or one day to get the hang of. I have 4 years pallet jack experience, two years forklift and only 3 months stand up forklift experience. (I consider myself an intermediate who has not completed my training.) Your recruiter, however, invalidated my experience and instead sent me to get a license which anyone with a hundred bucks could get. A twelve year old could pass the test and they dont even have the machines there that I mentioned.

Worst experience ever with a specific recruiter at this location Name: MARIA MARTINEZ . She will come off very intimidating and would make you feel as though you don’t stand a chance with the employer. She also appeared very unpleasant in the FaceTime interview. This staffing agency was not a good place to find a job. Back in November, I arrived at the office to meet with a recruiter to discuss finding a job. Once the recruiter arrives, we speak in the office waiting area and he tells me to send him an e-mail with my resume and that he will let me know when to set up an interview with him. I send him the e-mail that same day and I never hear from him. I sent him a follow-up e-mail a couple of days later, again, no response. Recruiters are not supposed to do that. You are working there for a reason. It doesnt hurt to follow up at least once through e-mail. After this bad experience, I recommend prospective employees to be careful because you might get the same reception I received. You send them your information and they will never respond back to you.

Im not happy at all with their services. I went to their office because of all the great reviews that I saw online. Yet, Ive only been sent to a couple of interviews. Ive done several assessments that Ive passed and still nothing. Ive been with these people since Dec and its February and they still havent found me a job. The person assisting me was a lady, the last time I spoke to her I asked for feedback for the last interview she sent me on, she said she will call me back and its been a month and I havent heard from her not even a courtesy call from career exchange. Not only this, but I was advised me that if i didnt get the job for the last interview there was a temp position as a receptionist that was opening in their office that she could offer me. A bunch of broken promises. I know they have new positions available but they havent even cared to call me with any new offerings. They have only sent me to 2 interviews and Ive heard nothing from them in a month. All I asked for was a receptionist or administrative assistant job. I got my hopes up for no reason. Im so disappointed in their service. They have completely abandoned me.
