The Amazon Locker is located by the restrooms by Terminal D. The pier is tucked away and was completely empty. There is almost no signage indicating the location of the locker. If it werent for the review a few above mine, we would not have found it. The idea is great, and would be super convenient if you could actually find the lockers. This was super annoying... Step it up Amazon!
This is a great idea for ship crew but the locker is ridiculously small compared to the high demand (there are 4-5 ships docked most of the times) and there should be an option to extend your pick up time at least for extra cost or amazon should give the option of single delivery date once the last package is available for delivery considering that the seafarers only arrive in port on specific days. On another note, it is not easy to find, there are no signs to direct you to the locker and even the terminal staff don’t have a clue where it is. The google maps direction is like 100 meters off from the actual locker location so once your map says you’ve arrived to the destination.... you still need to walk like a block to reach it (which makes a huge difference)Tip: once you arrive to terminal “D”, you need to continue walking to the very last “restroom” sign pass the roofed area towards the end and you’ll finally find the locker
The dumbest idea in Miami. Says 24 hours but tried to go at around 10pm to pick up my package and the police already had access to the terminal road blocked. I approached the police to ask if it was possible if I could still go to the terminal and they flipped out on me. The police were extremely rude and aggressive, like I was crazy and way out of line trying to access the terminal at night. I actually thought they were going to pull their gun on me and make me get down on the ground because I was confused about why I couldn’t get to the terminal to get my package. The whole situation was frustrating and ridiculous. So better off if you don’t use this location. Pick better locations next time, Amazon!
This locker is likely intended for use by the crewmembers of the ships that dock in the port. As a crewmember on the cruise ships, the days in port on turnaround day (the day that one cruise ends and the next begins) are the busiest time for the crew, who often need to go into town to pick up basic personal supplies and such. Having an Amazon Locker right in the port allows crewmembers to shop online, have things delivered, and simply pick them up from the locker instead of racing around to try and find everything in the hour or two that they might be lucky enough to have off of work. Thanks Amazon for putting a locker here! One like this in every major cruise port (Canaveral, Bayonne, etc.) would be awesome!
Nice if you are taking a cruise, otherwise is hard to get there due to the traffic, the locker is outside, one side of the bathrooms and is painted gray, not yellow as usual
Great idea, loved the convenience of picking up my delivery at Port Miami
I agree with all past reviews that the Locker is not easy to spot due to its colour being different from the regular Yellow coloured Lockers. It is located outside Terminal D near the restrooms. There is always a security personnel here so just ask them either for the Amazon Locker or for the Restroom & you cant miss it.
Accessable place for seafarers
It works well but is not easy to find!
Wow very close to my ship
Nice and easy
Nice
It is located near restrooms at Terminal D
