I was so very pleased with their service. Very friendly and nice. I had been told I needed the gear shift cable for my 2005 Saturn Relay III, but when I called for an estimate, the owner was honest and nice enough to let me know all I needed was the bushing, $20, versus $150-$250 for changing the whole cable. I was also able to get a synthetic oil change for less than what the other shop was charging. I have already referred friends to them and will take my Saturn there for the next repair. Also, the tow truck driver was very busy and running late but they were waiting and ready for us when we got there.I again called upon Great Potential Auto Center for help. While at the doctors office, all the water ran out of my radiator, so I had my car towed to Great Potential Auto Center. Robert and Mark checked to find out if it was the radiator or a hose. Turned out to be a plastic fitting. They ordered the part and got me on the road again with advice to replace the plastic radiator soon before it failed as well. I scheduled an appointment, got a ride and the same day, after checking for any other problems, I was on my way again. Price was not the cheapest or most expensive but within range. I am trusting them with all my car repair needs and am recommending them to friends as well. Its a pleasure to work with honest, reliable people.I took my Saturn Relay III to Great Potential Auto Center again to take care of issues with warning messages, engine light, etc... I told them to take their time as I had fallen and was going to have surgery and it would be several weeks before I would be able to drive. Mark was very thorough and made sure my vehicle was running perfectly. Happy as he put it and it does indeed seem happy. Everything is tightened up and running very smoothly, a/c is working beautifully and its even getting better gas mileage. The only issue that wasnt fixed is a type 2 data cluster issue causing a message but it was expensive and not worth the money when all I had to do was push a button to make it go away and it didnt affect the operation of the vehicle. OnStar shows green lights on everything. 5 stars and thumbs up!!! I was also pleasantly surprised that it didnt cost more. Repairs sounded expensive but I felt were quite reasonable. He even changed the cabin air filter for me. Kudos! I know its been very difficult for Mark during this pandemic with Robert out and personal crisis all at the same time. Im very grateful. I recommend them to everyone I know who needs auto repairs.

I was given Mark’s contact as a recommendation when my engine gave out. This happened during COVID’s peak, it was a weird and difficult time & I was terrified what would happen to my livelihood without a car. As far as I`m concerned, one of the few or perhaps the only true auto mechanic shop in existence today. Too many shops nowadays are good at just replacing parts until they get it right, but these guys just by calling them on the phone without even looking at the automobile can pinpoint the problem most of the time. Used them many times and will keep using them and recommending them as well.

AVOID AT ALL COST! MARK EXPERIMENTS ON THE CAR WHILE CHARGING YOU FOR IT. VERY ARROGANT. SPENT 1500.00 AND NOTHING WAS DONE!

If youre a professional mechanic and you call the customer up telling them that you are finished with the job and they pay and its not finished then should the customer be responsible for paying for an extra hour of Labor because you didnt do it right the first time. I would suggest that you be professional and thorough because were paying a premium hourly rate not to be jerked around. Mechanics that arent customer focused will eventually fail. In casual conversation the mechanic went on to say he wasnt happy with the spot he was in and they wanted to move and are not making any money, well now I know why.

Okay, so heres the thing. At first I was a little concerned because I read a negative review on yelp (which I learned later was written by an angry gentleman trying to hurt the company out of spite). I decided to check on Great Potential for myself.I was helped by Albert (I think hes the owner). He was professional and made me feel first class. He gave me a reasonable price for the amount of work he wound up doing, and he stayed true to the quote.The work was amazing! The paint job and body work was so detailed that my father in law thought I brought home a new car. Everyone who has seen the car has complemented me on the car and cant believe how great it looks. For what I paid and the job they did, I feel like I bought a new car for the price of fixing my old one.Definitely recommend them! You need to go here and ask for Albert. Tell him Robert sent you! Car Trouble Code P0731. How bad it could be and HOW IT MAY HELP YOU TO FIND A GOOD MECHANIC.--------------------------------------------------------------------------Several days ago, I was driving my 2004 Nissan Altima when suddenly the car started changing speed, slowing down and showing all kinds of warning signals on the panel. I was barely able to get to the nearby TIRES PLUS auto service that I had used in the past. They performed a diagnostic test and their verdict was: code P0731 showing a transmission problem. The manager said that they do not fix transmissions and that I needed to tow the car to a transmission service center.I started googling for auto services with good reviews in my area, which is how I found GREAT POTENTIAL CENTER. I called them and described the situation. Mark Thibault, the owner, whom I spoke with, asked me what kind of services had been performed on the car recently. After he found out that the alternator and battery were recently replaced, he suggested that when a car has electrical problems, the trouble code, generated by a computer most likely shows an incorrect number. He offered for me to bring the car to GREAT POTENTIAL for a diagnostic. It took him 5 minutes to find out that the voltage was low and the alternator (that the same TIRES PLUS had installed in my car 2 months prior) was defective. This information helped me to convince TIRES PLUS to change the defective alternator. Afterwards, I brought the car to Mark again and he confirmed that the problem had been solved. The computer no longer showed the error code, the voltage was normal and there was nothing wrong with the transmission.I am very grateful to Mark! He helped me to get peace of mind and to save time and money. Most importantly, I was lucky to find an honest, reliable and very friendly mechanic who I am going to use now for all my future car maintenance and repair needs.

I would not recommend anyone to go to this mechanic! CONSUMERS BE AWARE!! Mark is a solid CROOK. I purchased an alternator about a year ago. One week after driving my car, I was almost involved in an accident as the car shut down in the middle of the highway. I was stranded for an hour and had to call the towing company. I took my car to the dealer and they informed me that I had a bad alternator. I immediately towed my car to Marks repair shop.First of all upon arriving, Mark cursed at me when i arrived and indicated that it was not his fault that my alternator was bad. Then after much convincing from one of his employees josh who no longer works for him, mark decides to repair my alternator with a lot of attitude. I left his shop. 1 year later as of this writing, my alternator goes bad again. This time my wife was driving and almost had a fatal accident on the highway. At this point, i called mark again and told him of the situation. This time he lies and tells me that Im out of warranty. This of course was not true as he offered me a 2 year parts and labor warranty on the work. I texted the paperwork to Mark and he said that Josh who used to work for him made a mistake and that he never should have given me a 2 year warranty. (Basically trying to lie and avoid dealing with my issue of course).Then Mark tells me that if I bring my car in he is going to charge me $100.00 if the problem is not the alternator. I told mark that was very unethical and he started cursing at me. How can someone charge me for looking at a vehicle when they are at fault for putting a defective alternator? My family almost died twice because of Mark for crying out loud and he has the nerve to say that he is going to charge me if he problem is not the alternator!! Obviously the problem is the alternator as my car is not starting. And just to let you guys know, all Mark does is plug in a device for a couple minutes which tells you if you have a bad alternator or not. I had to get this printout from my dealer to prove to mark that it was the alternator the first time I had the problem.At this point, i became angry and suspicious and know that if i brought my car in, Mark will end up lying and tell me thats its not the alternator and will charge me for looking at the car. I would probably need to involve the police to get my car back then.To avoid all of this from happening, I offered to settle with Mark told and told him that I just wanted my money back ($200.00) representing half of what I paid for the alternator. He refused and we have not spoken since. I have today filed a complaint with the BBB and may also take this to litigation. Regardless if I win my case, I want the public to know what bad experience happened to me so you do not have the same problem. Marks refusal to give me my money back is clearly costing his company a bad reputation for me to spend time out of my weekend writing this review. I am so angry at Mark at this point for cheating me. I have spent money on other repairs with him over a 3 year period and he does not have any courtesy to give me this small amount of money back for selling me a defective alternator which he today still refuses to admit.Honesty and Integrity is extremely important in Business and Great Potential Auto Repair has none whatsoever.
