I travel 310 miles for work, and my 2001 Lincoln Continental’s air conditioning compressor decided to freeze up completely after just arriving at my Hotel in Miami. I have my hometown mechanic I trust up north of Tampa, so I was justifiable in being nervous that I knew no one in Miami and had no idea who to trust with my repair. After doing extensive research and looking at Google Reviews I decided to try Velazquez. Since they didn’t open till 9:30am, I left my vehicle in his drive and keys in the mailbox, hoping he’s be able to look at it.He called me as soon as he opened and when I told him my concerns and that I needed the work done by Friday evening, he put my mind at ease. He found the right parts (new, not remanufactured) and got to work. Even though he quoted me 4 hours of labor, he spent probably double that making sure the work was done correctly and didn’t charge me any more than he originally quoted (wow - honesty??? Awesome!) and went the extra mile to make sure I would make the trip home without any further issues.I would highly recommend Carlos for anything you need done. Even though he may take longer to get your work done as he is a one-man shop, he is definitely worth the wait. How did I get so lucky finding phone of the few real honest mechanics left who does real quality work... especially in Miami?!?!? Thank you Carlos!
