It’s been over two years since I’ve been off my meds. I made an appointment and brought all my information needed as I was ready to get help and back on my meds. I was so humiliated standing at the desk with all my personal and medical information out with other patients right behind me and being asked what should be asked in a private room. The staff was very concerned that I was lying about my income. I told them my income and she told me that if I am lying now to really tell the truth because it effects the payment plan and I could be punished later. I wanted to cry! I just wanted to see a psychiatrist for bipolar meds. I couldn’t explain my situation out in the open for everyone to hear so I asked for them to destroy all my documents they made copies of and left. I showed up because I have hard time living like this and my quality of life rapidly declines the longer I go on like this. I decided months later to try again and I showed up to the similar suspicious staff greeting and left again. To anyone reading don’t give up and help is out there. please save your tears and time and don’t come here. they don’t want to help- they are more concerned with you’re annual income and violating HIPPA

Worst customer service, they need to be more human and understanding, because off course that you need help or you wouldn’t be there, they have a lot of rules and are not comprehensive or kind, I would give them a 0 star If i could, please do more research and don’t go there

The supervisor investigated me about my bank statements as if she was the police. She treated me aggressively, and with suspicion. What bothered her was that, even though I said I was unemployed, I had a one time deposit of $4,000 from my husband in my bank statements. It didn’t matter that I explained it was money he owed me. Didn’t matter that I told them they’d be able to see a deposit from him on the phone, even before I got there, the minute they said they’d need my bank statements, and they said it would be fine. She was still set on treating it like earning rather than money paid back, and on treating me like a liar. It was humiliating and thanks to her I will not get treatment.

My wife was excited to go for her intake session and get treatment. She came back in tears. She told me how they spoke to her. Horrifying that people in the mental health industry can lack the most basic sensitivity. I guess they can always turn it around on their patients and explain that they are simply crazy. Such a shame.
