Have been trying to get a hold of the property manager has been imposible for nearly 2 months now. Does not answer emails, they are managing condos without Insurance. The receptionist Christine is very nice but getting a hold of the property manager is imposible. As an investor trying to close out on a deal with one of the condo they manage i have had to file an extension twice because of the lack of response from the property manager. I wanted to leave them a zero star but is not possible. Avoid them at all cost, honestly worst people i have had to deal with.
Unfortunately Regatta and Tim Voda do not follow Florida Statutes in the administration of Condo Law, this has lead to numerous violations from the DBPR and a pending lawsuit which has opened up their condo boards to liability and an astronomical increase in the D&O insurance policy. Avoid at all costs
As a broker I depend on the management companies to report accurate information in timely manner. My last transaction which I just closed was almost thwarted by the in proper reporting when the closing agent requested the estoppel letter. They reported that the building had litigation when it did not, there misuse of language almost cost the deal. I wanted to leave them a zero not 1 star.
Out of all the management companies, this one actually answers their calls when others either have a voicemail system which they never call back or they simply don’t answer. They have a very mom and pop feel to them but they get the job done. I’ve dealt with all of the staff at Regatta and know for a fact that they work hard for their buildings. All the negative reviews come from angry, confrontational people who can’t abide by rules and feel the need to bash a company who is only there to enforce the rules set by the associations they manage. Most probably didn’t get the answer they wanted because sadly most are realtors and don’t understand how a management office works or an angry tenant who destroyed their apartment and lost their deposit for their negligence. Do not be fooled by the naysayers and try them out for yourself. I guarantee you’ll have a different perspective.
I lived there for one year, I’m a student and it was great living at one of their properties. Banna was such a great help leasing my apartment unit. I communicated a lot with Mary who helped managed the property. I most certainly cannot tell you that she was not of help. She worked with me, understood so much and was a really big help when it came to up keep and effectively communicating. Christine always provided wonderful service each time I came to the office. Though it was time to go, I thank these two ladies for being keen, professional, and efficient when leasing this companies property. Thank you for the positive experience.
I agree that any positive review is either fabricated or someone that was paid to do it. The receptionist or account person that answers the phone takes the message and shes very nice, Cris, but you never hear from the so called account manager, David Clattenberg, who is always traveling or not in the office. I talked to this David once and he hung up on me when I reminded him of his duties. Its a shame, not sure how the owners have not done anything about it by now. I guess they dont care about their business.
Tim Voda is very responsive to any questions or concerns I have about the complex. The staff is friendly whenever I have had to visit the office. Out of the many Miami Beach Property management companies this company is far superior.
Horrible service.
I have never experienced such bad service from a human being ………. Took 2 weeks to fix a leak in my bathroom. I would leave voicemails, messages over and over and no body can call you back. I even spoke to the head supervisor and their response that these things take time.Simply the worst. This company show clean house and im sure that even a 10year old child can do a better than these people can .
I strongly suspect that any positive reviews of this business are fabricated. The fact that they are all five-stars by anonymous users posted at the same time should tell you something.Regatta has been managing our medium-sized condo building for less than three months and in that time, the only thing impressive about their service has been the lack of it. A sampling:Ive sent emails regarding the below and received no response whatsoever, even to acknowledge receipt:- Medco key policy and ability to get copies- Lost keys- Inquiry to confirm whether my understanding of a financial issue was correct and whether I should mail in a certain amount- In addition, another resident tampered with our private property and though Regatta said they would follow up with me to look at security camera footage, they never did. When I asked why later, they said they didnt think they needed to because the property was later found moved to another location. I pointed out that it didnt change the fact that our property was tampered with and we had a right to know who did it. Five days later from that exchange and I still havent heard a response.- Now Regatta has lost a payment from me and are threatening late fees. I told them that my bank statement showed that the check was delivered 20 days ago. Regatta responded that they never received it. I just got off the phone with my bank confirming that the check was cashed 18 days ago and was endorsed with our associations business stamp, which Regatta possesses. .Stay away. Stay FAR away. If this incompetence is what Ive encountered in under three months of fairly routine issues, I shudder to think what would happen if anyone needed Regatta to do anything important.
I sincerely hope you’re reading this before engaging in any type of business with this management company. Here are a few examples:The main gate of the building was “to be repaired” when I moved in. Of course a year went by and absolutely nothing happened.When I asked if they could take care of a pest problem on some trees in the common area by trimming them (yes, they didnt trim the trees in the common areas) I was told to trim them myself by Tim Voda, which I think is the buffoon running the circus.The few decent folks theyve got are basically overshadowed by the incompetence and lack of professionalisms from their key players.Overall, these are the type of people who think they’re doing you a favor and not offering a service.
I recently moved into one of their buildings and thought it would be a nightmare considering all of the bad reviews. I have to say, i had an amazing experience thanks to Mary & Christine. They are an example of what customer service should be. They need more people like them. They are very lucky to have placed them in their team.
The worst of the worst....!!!! They always have some phony excuse. I am a Realtor and unfortunately I have to deal with these people. Mary Is never there. Either she is not in office, or out to lunch or by 3:00PM she is already gone for the day. These people are a joke.

Renters BEWARE!Regatta Real Estate Management does not care about your security, personal safety, or property.After numerous phone calls, texts, and documentation to the building management documenting broken doors in building allowing access into property, lack of any type of lighting at night (seriously, PITCH DARK both in parking facilities and in building), and no security (picture suspicious acting people roaming facilities scoping out the area, in the cover of COMPLETE darkness), Regatta Real Estate Management ignores the aforementioned problems, and instead opts to lie about solutions and will ignore your concerns all while happily accepting your rent money. This company is the epitome of Low Rent. Any positive reviews you see are fabricated, pure lies, and anonymous DO NOT BE FOOLED! Take the advise of a current tenant and take your business elsewhere.
DO NOT RENT FROM REGATTA REAL ESTATE. They are slum lords and do not maintain there propertys and there Apartment Units are poorly maintained and dirty. There propertys are not secure and they do not care about the safety of there tenants. The outside of there building is poorly lit,there is no security gate to keep drifters and unsavory people off the property and there buildings are not secure or maintained at all. They rent to tenants who are loud,throw partys, use drugs and disrupt the building just to collect rent and do not care who they put in there units.Barking dogs. doors with no stoppers on them so they slam and smash shut at all hours. There washing machine and dryer is broke all the time and they do not repair, there hot water heater was broke and not repaired for 4 days and there were constant water shut offs due to plumbing issues that they never seemed to fix. When i called the city on them after being with out hot water for 5 days they were fined and even thee code compliance officer told me he was well aware of Regatta and they were biggest slum lords on the beach. After I called the city on them and they were issued fines they raised my rent on me.They issued me a fake rider lease that they gave to me in there office and told me to attach it to my original lease from them and It was not signed by them so they could raise my rent on me at there will and bamboozle me . They harass you on the phone about late fees that they say you owe them and raise your rent as they please once your lease expired If you are a month to month tenant so be sure to keep your lease current and signed and legitimate with these crooks., My latest rent increase that they are trying to get from me is $150 monthly rent increase,the most yet that they have tried to get from me.. I have been a tenant for over 8 yrs and paid my rent every month and they basically take advantage of there loyal and long term tenants and drive you out of there units. I am currently looking for a new Apt because I refuse to be run over by them any more or taken advantage of. They have had a complete turn over in there office and with all there real estate agents and management because even there own employees and managers do not want to work for there corrupt and scummy company. Please heed my warning and do not rent propertys from these criminals and scum bags. They are truly the meaning of the Slum Lords

Notice all the good reviews are from “a google user”, no names! This company is inept at its best and dishonest at its worst. Incredibly lacking in ethics and knowledge of running a condo. Regatta was a defendant on a FHA lawsuit where, amongst other defendants, they wanted to prevent me from buying my condo and installing a ramp for access. I won, But the ineptness of a condo management company being ignorant of federal law and persuing discrimination is unbelievable and proves incompetence at the very least.
Worst of the worst service . You call and leave voicemails after voicemails and no one returns my phone calls. Your property could be falling apart and when you call in for anything you can’t get anyone competent enough to resolve your issues. These people are useless
I have lived in a building managed by this company for three weeks now - even for Miami Beach this is horrendous. When we moved in, we asked for instructions on how to pay our HOA fees - my email was forwarded to someone else. I followed up - nothing. Just got a notice of late fee payment. This company is one of the worst companies I have ever interacted with.
Very poor management and service. They provide the worst customer service por tenants, they are rude, incompetent and stingy when it comes to basic repairs. They had us with A/c not working properly for more than two months, they will not answer the phone, and when they did they sent somebody that did not fixed it properly. They stole part of our deposit even though we did not ruin the apartment in any sense, just the normal wear and tear. Please avoid renting and apartment from them

These people are by far the most unprofessional real estate brokers I have ever dealt with. 4 years after moving out of one of their apartments, I am still dealing with the aftermath of their negligence and irresponsibility. While living in their apartment, this company rarely responded to maintenance requests in a timely manner. Even though they were responsible for paying water bills, we received cut off notices on our apartment doors because Regatta refused to pay the bill. They even refused to fix building washer and dryer equipment, claiming they did not have enough money to do so. When we moved out, the company did not respond to our requests for a walk through nor acknowledge our calls and emails stating that we were moving. The list is endless. Avoid these people!

Terrible company.They even neglected to get our business license fo rthe building, which is the most basic thing.It cost us $1000 fine.I have finally left this company after months of them refusing to answer emails and calls ( i am the pres. of the association and the one who signs their checks) refusing to pay vendors even though there is money in our account.refusing to answer questions about where large sums of money are going.one of the people assigned to me seemed like he was on some kind of opiates,or severly mentally challenged,as he could not even follow a conversation.They are now refusing to hand over our record to the new company,which is illegal.STAY AWAY BAD NEWS at best they are so negligent that they will cost you thousands,at worst they are up to no good
The receptionist answers the phone but the agents are never available. When they do decide to call you back they are rude and dismissive. Not a fan!
The WORST Real Estate company ever. They are rude, and extremely lazy, takes forever to get things done. Always make you feel like a burden if you have a problem. Do not accommodate your needs at all. Always half a $$ jobs. Apartments all have problems they dont tell you about. Most are bug and RAT infected. Wouldnt recommend EVER renting through them.

Regatta Management are the worse to deal with! I am a Realtor in Miami Beach. I have to deal with them to get approval for clients that are renting or purchasing property in the Miami Beach and Miami area. They are slow to respond to phone calls and emails. It takes them several days just to respond to a simple request for information. I would not recommend them for any condo association.
Worst attention I have ever received. It takes them 2 - 3 month to answer. I have been asking them for the link to make online payments and still havent receive an answer... This is probably the 2nd month I am waiting for it.This is NOT anonymous

Terrible people ! I trusted greg that I assume is the manager ! I told him that there was mold in my building ! next day they cover all the mold with fresh paint ! instead of letting my landlord know I wasnt happy ! terrible service
Zero stars for this ridiculous excuse of a management company.Stay away from hiring them to manage your building. They claim to come to your property weekly, they do not. If you have an urgent issue like a leak, they fail to send maintenance. There are hidden fees they charge you.
This guys are advertising scam and extremely unprofessional!! They took my money for renting one unit that is falling a part.. even broken window taped and not even a functional smoking detector. All is bad, they make money out off peoples misery and suffering.
