John was an amazing guide. We used his services to visit the Everglades with our family for an entire day. I highly recommend him if you want to get the best Everglades experience. He is very knowledgeable and took us to great spots. For instance, he knew where we could find baby alligators or the best places to take pictures of birds. We even got to see dolphins having sex, which was the cherry on the cake at the end of the day.

Boy did this tour come with a huge hometown heart. This Miami Native loves his hometown and you can tell. He was so energetic and was really able to personalize our tour to maximize our experience. He knows a lot of unique and efficient ways to make the town pop. We saw SO MUCH. Great with communication and organization. Would do again in a heartbeat. He loves to link his city to your hometown and find commonality. What I have in common now is that I love his city like he does. John did an amazing job showing us the Miami with his private city tour. His knowledge of the local spots, businesses, and the history of the city made the tour particularly special. Very nice tour

We had a fantastic trip! John is knowledgeable and fun to talk with. We saw tons of wildlife! We went on 2 boat rides and had a delicious lunch at a spot tucked away on the water. What a great day.

Stunning experience with John, we went with a party of 4 and had a VIP privileged experience across the Everglades. We saw lots of animals, especially dolphins which were playing with the boat. The landscapes were breathtaking and we learnt a lot about the history of the native, and also about animal habits. Could’t have wished for a better trip to discover the wild side of Florida.

As a group of 4 we did the 7 Hour Everglades Adventure and it was worth every penny. John was really knowledgeable, passionate and friendly. We took a drive around Big Cypress checking out all the birds (specifically the elusive pink one!) and the gators. Followed by a boat trip out to the Gulf of Mexico where we were thrilled to see a group of dolphins. We then enjoyed a stone crab lunch, which was delicious, followed by an airboat ride. Highly recommend and will use Miami Native tours if / when we return to Miami. Thanks :)

This was our 4th and 5th trip with John and we continue to be impressed with his knowledge of south Florida. This pre-cruise trip, John took us on a day-long trip to the Everglades including 2 boat trips that provided so much fun. We saw dolphins playing around us, a huge collection of pelicans, alligators and beautiful landscapes. On our second day, we did a half day tour of Miami and he still managed to show us new things and entertain us with stories even though we’ve done that trip with him before. I know John doesn’t control the weather but I feel like he does everything within his power to make it a perfect trip for everyone- teenagers to seniors. He even helped us with securing last minute transportation to Port Everglades when the company I booked with fell through. We truly feel like we have family in Miami, he takes such good care of us. Don’t hesitate to book with him - he will not disappoint.

We contacted John at very short notice to ask if he would take us on an all day tour of the Everglades and Big Cypress, and he graciously agreed. Although he usually has more than two people on a tour, he was able to work with us, and we were happy to compensate him a little more for what was effectively a private tour. He is very knowledgeable about the flora, fauna and the history of the native peoples in this part of Florida. We saw many birds on our tour - heron, ibis, white and brown pelicans, cormorants, anhingas and even ospreys nesting high in the mangroves. Alligators were ten-a-penny, lounging and sunning themselves everywhere. We even had dolphins following in our wake on one of the boat trips. I wont ever forget boating out to a sandbar in Big Cypress and watching a flock of white pelicans congregate - amazing. All of this was new to us Northeners and we came to understand why John is as proud and enthusiastic about this unique ecosystem. He knows the locals, the backwaters, the off the beaten tracks places to eat marvelous seafood for lunch. He was disappointed that the Roseate Spoonbills were proving to be elusive, when they had been so easy to find a week or so before. But finally, at his insistence we stopped at an open area of water on our way home, and saw wisps of coral and pink fly into view. It was a terrific day, John is very professional and accommodating . He spent the journey back into Miami making recommendations for other must see places and sites in the city. We had such a great day, thank you John.

John is a very friendly, knowledgeable and thoughtful guy. He picked up us on time and the tour is well planned. We ordered the Everglades tour. We saw a lot of animals during the tour, especially the adorable dolphins. They were so close to us! Although the weather is cold these days, but it is really worth the price! Thank you, John!

Crazy experience

John is very professional and friendly. Besides speaking Portuguese very well because she worked in Brazil, she is a profound connoisseur of Miami and gave us excellent shopping and food tips. We highly recommend and will be back soon

We did a wonderful tour with John, who took us on a tour of the Everglades, Big Cypress and 10,000 Islands. I recommend it to everyone, it is much more complete than the simple one by the Everglades, and they are much more interesting areas. It lasts all day but it is very short, an exceptional excursion !!! In addition, we liked it so much, that the next day we asked him to do the tour of Miami, and we loved it, since he showed us the best of the city and focused us for the visits we made the following days. He also showed us Coral Gables, Coconut Grove, the mansion of the Vizcaya Gardens .... We all loved it and we would repeat it without a second
