Terrible company. Henry the owner never returns our calls and just lies to us when we do get a chance to talk to him only when we call from an unknown number. Bought a new $5k AC that never worked right. Had another AC company come out to show me that they installed two different model year units and sold them as brand new to me. Told us the unit has warranty with him when we bought it, but once installed never would respond when it had problems. We are currently looking into the process of trying to get our money back but it has been a nightmare. Call them at your own risk you have been warned….

SO had an issue with my AC tonight. Called this place and the guy said he couldnt get someone out till the next morning. Given that it Was late on a Friday night, I completely understand. However I was having an issue where my nest wasnt reading power. I tried everything with regards to plugging in the face and charging the battery but still nothing. The nice gentlemen on the phone told me to take a few pics of my unit and send to him via text I did so even a video. he then proceeded to explain to me that given his years of service he knew EXACTLY what was wrong and that I could fix it myself! he proceeded to walk me thru everything I had to do on the phone and it completely worked! problem solved! I offered to bring money to their location and say thank s and he wouldnt have it. The HVAC business is a lucrative one for repair and insalation companies, and generally the. you need emergency service it gets so EXPENSIVE! this guy didnt even ask me for money just walked me thru how to fix it myself... if I ever need major repairs or anything is wrong with my AC im going to call them 100% thank you Reliable Air Conditioning. We scheduled an appointment and the technicians showed up and said they can get the part replaced. The next day they said they are not sure the job can be done but they are sending a different crew to check on the issue. Without any prior notice the technician showed up at our place. This company truly honors their name. I was dealing with another company for 32 days trying to fix my AC. After sending countless technicians over, they were unable to do so. I called this company based on their excellent reviews and I wasn’t disappointing. I spoke with Henry (the owner), and explained my issues and frustrations. He listened to me like an old friend. They got here fast (about 3 hours from calling). Also punctual. Very friendly. Needed a new capacitor and hard start kit. Value was good for this service (based on national average). Nice and honest! You cant ask for more! I called late on a Friday afternoon because my AC wouldnt turn on and spoke to Henry Munoz. He didnt have someone to send right away, but told me to try something on my unit while he was on the phone with me and it worked. I called Reliable after hours when I was having trouble with my AC and furnace unit. After a few quick minutes of talking through the symptoms, the technician knew exactly what needed to be done to resolve the problem. Although their hours say open at 7am and I was able to obtain access to my building before 9am, the technician did not arrive until 9:15am. The AC broke in one of my rental properties and I needed a new AC company as the one that I dealt with previously was unreasonable in terms of pricing. Had a major malfunction of my A/C unit. Didnt know what to do so I called around looking for an A/C guy to help fix it. Called a ton of techs but out of all the techs I called a local Miami Beach Tech. They were Reliable and they were the greatest. He came over quickly and gave a really low quote to get my unit up and running.Within a day he was in, got my A/C running, and was out without a mess!I highly recommend them!

If I could give them negative stars I would. Maybe the company has now been sold, but I have a completely different experience to other reviews. It is MARCH 2016. They replaced a unit for me in August 2015 and said labor and parts were guaranteed for a year. They also told me that while the original quote was for both an AC and air handler, I didnt need a new air handler. That was wrong. They refuse to remedy what seems to be a timing issue between the very old air handler and the new AC, which their technician just indicated. Irrespective of this, the price they charged me for replacement was basically double, they come 6 hours late and do not call until after the time booked and are generally argumentative. There are so many other companies. GO ELSEWHERE and avoid my headache. Good luck.

We quickly realized that the unit needed a more in depth repair (an acid flush of the coils) and he quickly sent out a team of experts to deal with the issue the next day. Our AC was blowing air but it was not cold. Not good when the inside temp gets to 81. My husband found Reliable Air Conditioning online and called them. They were here in an hour. Very quick, professional and reliable. Great name for them!

I would give ZERO stars if I could. AC unit at my place was on the fritz. First guys comes out doesnt look at half of the issues and tells us we need a brand new condenser ($2400) later. They change the unit but still dont look at half the problems (leaks and drainage out of the unit). They hand me a shop vac to drain water myself. Less than 24 hours later the problem is still there. Call him back he says he will be there at 4:30 then 5:30 then a series of Im on my way only to have stop answering calls and showing up after 10:30pm! Service is terrible. Save your money call someone else!

Reliable Air Conditioning lives up to its name, and Im incredibly grateful. My a/c units fan decided to go kaput overnight on a Saturday, and with temps in my apartment steadily rising toward 80 degrees, a time-sensitive work project that had to be completed from home, and no availability to meet repairmen during the week, I needed immediate service on a Sunday afternoon.I quick Google search led me to Reliable. They answered the phone immediately, and committed to coming out to my apartment in about an hour (and gave me an hour-long window for their techs arrival). The 2 techs came by in the first half of that window, quickly diagnosed the problem (the motor/fan just gave out and needed to be replaced), confirmed they had a replacement part at their shop, quoted me a price, including labor, and confirmed that the part came with a warranty. The part had to be brought over from their shop, but once in hand, they installed it in a matter of minutes. As I sit here writing this review, Im enjoying a steady stream of cold air blowing on me, and could not be more pleased with Reliables service and professionalism.Reliable is truly reliable! Dont look any further when you need 24/7 a/c help - theyre your guys.

Henry came on a Sunday and replaced our AC fan motor. He had fair pricing and worked quickly and professionally and completed the job in an hour. I had dealt with other companies who werent sure if they would have the motor I needed and still wanted to charge me to come out and take a look even though I already knew what the problem was. Miami Ice quoted me double what Henry charged because they wanted to add on a bunch of fees for coming on a Sunday and changing unnecessary parts. Stick with Henry!

Reliable came within an hour and climbed up and down a stupid, crazy ladder (bad building design) onto the roof for me. Henry had necessary parts in his truck and had my AC working again in under an hour. Wow, what a relief. I highly recommend Reliable, but personally I hope I dont see them again anytime soon.

Had a guy come check out my AC that just needed a drainage pan clean out and they charged $185 when the cost from other trustworthy AC companies is only $80-$90 for this service. This must be a fake company. I went to their business address and its a condo building. I was skeptical when I called them and they kept saying they would call back and didnt. I live less than a mile from this place and drove by. This a fake Google profile with a fake business address. Called a legit AC company, they are on the way.

They were five hours late to begin with. I called to have a tune up on my AC. The guy came, wasnt even there for 5 minutes and got multiple calls on his cell phone. He did absolutely nothing to my AC. I called to have get my AC checked, and also to possibly add a maintenance agreement. Two weeks later, my AC completely stops working. Do you think these people really checked and maintained anything?! Needless to say i did not call them once my AC broke. Pick another AC company!

I called Henry from Reliable AC mid evening sunday after my unit had frozen. It was hot and Miami Beach was spraying for Zika so the doors and windows need to remain closed: it was very uncommfortable and there was no way I could sleep in the heat and humidity. I called and had a technician within the hour helping me understand the issue. I was so grateful for his care and attention and learned how to maintain the unit myself. Ripoff. This company charged me $325 to change a compressor starter. I usually pay about $110 for this small repair. I had no choice but pay this price to provide AC to my tenant and avoid their $95 service charge even though they had told me initially that their was no such charge. Stay away from these gangstairs.

Weve had problems with our home AC cooling and had a local AC repair company over to diagnose the malfunction. They said we needed a whole new AC unit installed ($3500). To be cautious we got a 2nd opinion, this time from Reliable and we were told there was nothing wrong with the unit, only with the air handler leaking Freon, which is a lot less serious and was on warranty. We learned from Reliables repairman, Henry, that there are many unscrupulous AC repair companies around nowadays that intentionally try to sell the client something expensive they dont need, when only a simple repair is warranted, and they are paid a commission for the scam by the owner of the company. So be careful, get a 2nd opinion and, from our experience, trust the honesty of Reliable.
