I was driving home to Maine from Boston when my transmission gave out on the highway. Jean picked up the phone, even though he had closed for the day, and stayed late to look at my car when I coasted in off the highway. Then, he did an excellent repair job on a very short turnaround while I stayed in a local hotel to wait. He was professional, helpful, and charged fair prices throughout - even though I was an out-of-towner who was just passing through. Hes someone you can trust - I cant recommend him highly enough.

Never give up!!! As hectic as my day was on this day. I was determined [in between everything] to get my cars a/c compressor replaced. Its going to be in the 80s this weekend, and the hell I was going to drive in a hot car! While desperately searching, I found an angel to help me. Jean who owns Pro Auto Repair, here in Methuen he saved my a$$!!! I went to him with no appointment, and a messed up a/c compressor because I bought a used one that when they took it out they cut the power connector on the wrong end! They hell did I know!! I had taken my car to another mechanic who couldnt replace it, and all Jean told me was....give me TWO hours! He was extremely reasonable, and my a/c is working. Yaaay! THANK YOU JEAN!!!! For many years I struggle to find a good reliable mechanic in my area to the fact that I had and Audi A6 that I took to a mechanic in Lawrence for an oil change the garage owner had one of his assistant do the work and the genious drain my transmission oil instead of the engine. One day I heard from my sister of the only mechanic in the Methuen, Lawrence area that could figure out what was wrong with her car, she asked me to drive her car to Pro Auto Repair I saw the way Jean worked how knowledgeable and resposible he was so and I have been bringing my car to him ever since, I WILL NOT ALLOW any other mechanic to even look at my car but only Jean, I will be buying a car soon and I wont buy it until I hear Jeans opinion if is a good car or not thats how much I trust this guy.
