I received a call from Brooke Staffing Companies after several months of fruitless job searching. My previous job had been awful, and I was desperate to find a new one. But even with a graduate degree, I had only secured one interview, which did not result in a job. The staffing agents at Brooke talked to me about what kind of job I wanted, and found me temporary work within a week. After that temp position ended, they gave me temporary work answering phones in their own office. And when I told them I had just days before I would have to return to my old job, I could practically see their engines rev up. Within a few days I had an interview for a full-time position, and was lucky enough to get that job. I cannot express how hard these people worked to get me a job, and cannot express my gratitude for their hard work.

Do not use this agency, if you ever have any problems or accidents that happen they will cut you off quick. I had a temp job for two weeks that was an hour commute from where I live, I had an accident going into work one morning and had to take my car into the shop, called right after to let them know what happened and they asked me if I can still come in?? I should be in the hospital after my car was completely wrecked, I told them I would not be able to considering the circumstances I still had to figure out what to do about my car and where to tow it too, complete nightmare and they said don’t bother coming back for the job. They never got back with me and never heard back from them again. They would not take or respond to any of my calls or emails, I had the pictures and paperwork and police report but they did not care, and called them as soon as it happened after calling the police and boyfriend. They do not care about you at all completely lack of compassion and empathy.

I am working with two great employees at this company, Both are an asset to this foundation. I was very fortunate, due to Brook Staffing, that I was able to receive this assignment and join this team. It is a foundation run with few employees, with excellent experience and an abundance of projects each individual has to meet daily.In my working experience, I have not used an agency to place me in a working environment. I can sincerely say that meeting with Brooke is an excellent experience for me and I am very impressed by everyone I had contact with. I worked for Brooke staffing for about 4 months. They sent me to Children’s Hospital to temp in the front office. I was offered a full time position at Children’s right after my contract with Brooke ended. The staff at Brooke is very attentive to their employees, whenever I called they knew exactly who I was. I must say that Brooke Companies have given me an opportunity to be placed at college university to where I am enhancing my skills sets, learning new things daily and beginning a Career! The staff at Brooke got in touch with me after I sent them my resume and from the very beginning were professional, kind, and attentive to my needs. As a HR Professional, I would not recommend this company at all. I used the company once. Initially, no one responded to my request when sending in my resume. I had to go over there to see someone and they said they never received my resume. Then there was absolutely no follow-up from the representative that was assigned to my profession. When I saw her at a function, she had nothing to say to me. Recently, a representative contacted me through LinkedIn for a HR position. I emailed my resume and we ended up playing phone tag because you must call the office to speak to them, no alternative methods. The final time I called the representatives voice mail was full. So, I gave up trying. Poor service, too self-centered and in it for money only, not to see clients succeed.

Absolutely no help. I submitted a resume and then I tried to track down the recruiter. The recruiter never called back. On their website there are a list of postings that I am more than qualified and the recruiter never attempted contacting me. Very disappointing.

Brooke Staffing is a awesome company to work for. The staff is wonderful and work very hard on matching you with assignments that pretty much match your skills. Another benefit is the pay is weekly!!!!!

Before being placed in a position I didnt answer the phone once when they called and they left an angry message screaming, IF YOU FOUND A JOB YOU NEED TO TELL US BECAUSE WERE LOOKING FOR A JOB FOR YOU! All because I didnt answer the phone right away when they called. They clearly expect you to never be busy going on interviews, or sleeping, or having a life apparently.

I met with Jessica from Brooke Companies on a Monday, and was placed into a great job by that Thursday! Great experience.

I now have a great salaried job at an elite law firm in New Orleans. My experience with Brooke Staffing was professional and ultimately successful. Most important to me was that they had faith in me.
