I actually just left a noon meeting at TENA. I got clean here on 10/29/08. I dont get to make meetings like I did in the beginning. Taking care of my Mother doesnt allow for it, but when I do get to go. Its like coming home. Recovery has given me the ability to take care of my Mother the way she did as a single Mother for me. Ive never found a bad group. No matter where you go, youll find recovery if thats where your focus is.

This group is my home. It took minutes to make me feel a part of a group unconditionally. I went back home to WI they have 1 meeting a day at random times and random places. Im going back to Texas where I know I will get the support I need.

I heard got good spiritual belief like all the rest12 step program.The fellowship is Growth reaps and bond because the laws changes .The Judges keep seen repeat fin s not well adjust to Recovery.so in retrospect way give more time.Fine Starting get parents pockets and Attorney make there Vacations plans unmanageable process. Ash.

I went to this group starting about 10 years ago, at that time this is a good solid group. I moved away and haven’t been back for a while so I was visiting and decided to catch a meeting at town East. Ridiculous, the entire meeting was a disaster. A bunch of young thug’s cursing and unable to articulate what they want to say without trash talk it was pathetic. The cochair had five months clean...REALLY!?? So disappointing to see what’s happened to this group. I won’t be back. Good thing there are many groups in Dallas to pick from. Not to mention that the meeting hall with dirty had been swept hadn’t been cleaned up what happened to service work??? Yeah I’m disappointed bad

Great place to be when you feel like relapsing, the world is calapsing or talking to someone about goods and the bads... I also wanted to say thank you to my dearest friend Steven Cupples for coming with me and being by myside,we are both recovering addicts. Known his family since I was about 8yrs old and Im 46 now... and again thank you to Town East N/A and Steven Cupples for being there for me.. one question where is the nearest A/A located near me ( Mesquite,Balch Springs and The Grove) please come... I relapsed after over a year of being clean... thought I could handle it after all of the time I did clean...but things went down hill, daughter fled from CPS, lost the greatest man in my life and his kids..til the hitting and veriable abuse started,he took my RV camper my daughter home that was supposed to bring my when everything went down hill again.. I gave up on everything.. now looking at losing my freedom, my daughter, now and my other daughter Sarah.Now Ive pretty much lost everything pray 🙏🙏 for me 🙏🙏 please.. dont let lifes termorals...end you

Go to the Wednesday newcomers meeting if you are looking for a sponsor, otherwise it is pretty hit or miss in that respect... Great group great people
