First time here. Rich cut my 2 9yo boys with fresh fades. He was friendly with them and made them feel comfortable. He hooked me up with a clean businessman cut. We’ll definitely be back.

My first time coming into the shop, I can tell you my hair was messed up from all the other people I let cut my hair. I come in and already had a vision for my hair. Hes quick and precise with every movement he takes. He perfectas his craft and I will continue to come to his shop.

I cant say enough about this barber shop. Rich is a man of character and finesse. He brings back the meaning of neighborhood barber taking his time to make you feel as if youve been boys for a minute. His professionalism doesnt even begin to speak for his skill and attitude. This is how barbers should be.

I found the Chop Shop while searching for a new barber on Google and decided to give it a try because it was local and had good reviews. I was a walk-in and had a short wait. I typically get a low fade with an edge up and Carlton didnt disappoint, probably the best fade Ive received in my 32 years. The barber took his time and nothing was missed. My edge up was done with a straight razor. The cost was $16 before tip.The conversation was friendly and service was great. Carlton asked for my opinions once he was finished and I let him know it was a bit short (maybe 1/8 too short) which is understandable when switching barbers. I was pleased with the quality of the cut and will return.

Stopped by this morning for the simple fact that they carried the same name as the barber shop me and my Boyz go to back in Suffolk VA. They lived up to what I expected. We used 2 of the 3 barbers they had on hand. We made it in to the shop right in time because shortly after we arrived about 5 customers walked in. Best haircut Ive gotten in years. The barbers will talk your ear off if you want them to or go about their business if you dont. Dont let the look of the shop fool you either they know what theyre doing. Everytime Im in town Ill be dropping by.

They play a few explicit songs, but they will change it at customers request. Especially, if children are present. Barber did a good job on my cut. Overall, a nice place for a fresh cut.
