Beautiful venue for 100 or less. I was impressed with the staff and the food was great (guests complimented all night). DJ Tommy Scott was awesome. Wisteria Place is by far the best all inclusive venue we could find in the east-Dallas County area, at a great price, and I highly recommend it.*(All pics, except my cake, are from our initial viewing last winter. Wisteria Place is such a wonderful hidden gem! Peter and the rest of the staff are so competent, so kind, and so flexible through all the craziness of planning a Covid wedding. After changing the date twice, adding them as a ceremony location in addition to also having the reception there, and drastically reducing the guest list, Peter was so willing to work with us and took care of all the details perfectly. The whole look of the place was stunning. I recently got my wedding video back and the gazebo for the ceremony was gorgeous surrounded by the rich green lawn, and the reception area indoors was so perfect with hints of gold and vintage that went so well with my Great Gatsby theme. Betty was also so wonderful bringing my design vision to life! I couldn’t imagine a better place to finally have my wedding!

A beautiful fall wedding will always be remembered here at Wisteria Place. The venue was just right! The landscape and surroundings seasonly perfect! Inside - the kitchen was just right for all of the preparations and everything was nice! The gazebo setting was simply charming as the leaves fell on that sunny Sunday in October! I booked my wedding here for June and I am so glad I went with Wisteria Place. They are the nicest people and are always available whenever I have a question and Peter is always so pleasant and accommodating.There prices are very affordable and the venue is very nice. I would highly recommend anyone to have there event at Wisteria Place.

We just had our wedding here. It was simple and beautiful. If i ever get married again I would definitely use this place a second time lol. Beautiful back yard and pond. Patios was. Verylarge to accommodate about 45 to 50 people comfortably. Inside was decorated by their florist. She did an amazing job. We even did a photo booth inside. Everything was included (food, venue, bartender, banquet staff,DJ, etc.) We only had to supply the liquor and beer/wine. And the 🎂. We had a family member actaully marry us.

Wisteria Place in my opinion is a five star venue! We had an awesome experience with every staff member from our very first visit and beyond. I found Wisteria place while trying to find a venue for my wedding. That was truly a Heaven On Earth experience for me. Everything went exactly as we wanted it to. The wisteria place is a beautiful and very accommodating venue. We had Mexican food and it was excellent. The flower arrangements were absolutely stunning and exactly what we envisioned. They made our special day so memorable and we are so grateful.

This venue was Perfect! Peter and his staff were very helpful, patient, flexible, and understanding. They took care of everything, and it was beautiful! The DJ was great as well! I highly recommend this place! Would give it 10 stars if I could.

Absolutely AMAZING! I found this venue by chance through a Google ad and could not have been happier with my experience. The owner & staff were extremely friendly & helpful in customizing a wedding package to suit my needs. They completely took care of me and the price was FANTASTIC. The lighting outside was beautiful and the decor inside impressed all of my guests. The food, which is catered by Eddie Dean, was also excellent and we got to take home all of the leftovers! Peter was also extremely helpful in handling my music for me. If you are planning a smaller wedding on a modest budget, Wisteria Place is definitely the venue to go with!

My daughter just got married at Wisteria mid-June 2013. Peter and his staff did a fabulous job! We went with the all-inclusive package and did not regret it! The decorations were beautiful, Peter was very accomodating, helped keep us on track and did anything we asked the night of. The catering from Eddie Deans was really good! The DJ and bartender were great also. Turned out to be hot and muggy, but we danced the night away and everything was wonderful. Highly recommend!!!Thank you so much Peter and staff for all you do and did for us!!

The staff was great, everything was setup for the outdoor wedding, the weather broke just as we needed and Plan B was not needed. Peter and Betty coordinated everything beautifully. The DJ Tommy did a wonderful job playing music and kept everyone entertained.

We were married in September of 2012 and were lucky enough to have chosen Wisteria Place for our ceremony and reception. For our wedding, this venue was perfect. At first we had concerns about the size of the inside area for the reception (it is a converted house) and the distance (we are from North Dallas, and it is in Mesquite), but it comfortably held more people than we originally thought, the patio made for great seating, and it was worth the distance for the pricetag and the seclusion. We have been to other weddings where the ceremony is held outside and the guests had a hard time hearing, but luckily we did not have that issue here, the area surrounding the venue is nice and quiet.Peter, the owner and manager, is a really sweet guy that will work with you on anything you need. He was understanding and helpful in many ways - when we stayed past out allotted time, two of our guests had a fight, and throughout the normal chaos of preparation. He let us come out to plan several times and didn’t mind meeting us after hours. Since we have been married, we have run into him a few times and he still remembers us and takes the time to talk with us (I hope that isn’t a bad sign on our part). I can’t sing his praises highly enough.Parking is a little slim, but there is extra guest parking off to the side of the road. The changing room is very small and can be cramped if there are many people. I regret not getting more time to set up (my own cheap fault).Our ceremony was outside under the gazebo by the pond, and our reception was inside and on the patio. For our 150 or so guests, it was a great size and layout.This is a beautiful venue, with a helpful and caring staff, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking.

We had our wedding reception there in December. We had a little less than 100 people. I have to say that Peter and Betty did an AMAZING job!!! The tables centerpieces were just how I imagined they would be. The colors matched everything. Food and service was beyond perfect! I am still receiving compliments on the wedding and it was 2 months ago! Needless to say Peter went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly! I would definitely recommend to anyone!! The new owner took over Wisteria Place at the end of 2011 when we met and booked the wedding which we just had in July 2012. Apparently the previous owner had a few bad reviews so Im glad it changed hands. Everything went great and the place was absolutely beautiful. Gazebo was very very nice as well as the landscaping and pond in the large back yard. Reception was perfect as we used the inside area along with the large patio. Definitely would recommend to anyone.

My wife and I got married earlier this month at Wisteria Place. Peter and his staff went above and beyond to make this a wonderful occasion. It could not have been more beautiful and elegant. If youre having less than 110 guests (the max), there is NOT a better value in the DFW area!Looks deceiving when you drive by, but trust me, you could not ask for a better place at a better price!

Its ok for a small venue for a small number of guests. It canget crowded real fast when its time to head inside & eat. There were more people than places to sit and it was during a wedding so there was no place for the brides first 2 dances with the groom & the father

Ive called probably 10 times and emailed 3 times for more information, and to schedule a tour however theyve never called me. I was told hed call on Friday and I even emailed him a reminder and still no call back. Ive posted a question on their Facebook with no response, all I can say is if they cant answer the phone why would I hand them a few thousand dollars and trust them with my wedding?! I wouldnt chance it with this place. No wonder theyre so cheap. He says he was so overwhelmed but was still advertising on Craigslist, yet he couldnt respond to the people already interested.
