I have had a lot of experience at Audio Express and other car audio shops throughout my life. Typically when you head to a shop for a stereo upgrade it’s going to be expensive, you expect terrible customer service, and you hope & pray that your installer knows what he’s doing. But not here. Every time I have been to the Audio Express located in Mesa, AZ the showroom is clean, looks professional, the demo equipment all works, the installers there do GREAT work & in a timely manner. The staff as a whole is very knowledgeable but, and this is a big thing for me personally, if they don’t know an answer to question they’ll tell you that they don’t know and go and find an answer instead of lying, using your car as a tester, and messing things up they can’t fix. Someone at that location definitely trained the employees on accountability and I very much appreciate it. I will not be taking my vehicle anywhere else for the foreseeable future. Ian rocks!!

A wonderful install done by audio express, Cody and his team helped me along the way with educating me on what system I may prefer as well as a informed lesson on my system once installed. The communication throughout the process was very smooth. I would definitely return to have more work done by them if needed.

I had purchased a dash camera 8 months ago and it failed. It was still under warranty so I took it back for replacement or repair. They had to send it back to manufacturer per their agreement with vendor. Audio did this and then reinstalled the system. Through out this annoying process they were very helpful, courteous and professional. Thank you AE.

Staff is incredibly friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about their products. Recently purchased a subwoofer for my vehicle and the installer(s) did a great job, very clean and professional, and of course the hardware sounds great. Once it was finished they made sure I was happy with the sound as well. Im really happy with the experience as a whole.

Solid install and the guys working here were super cool and helpful. Prices are a bit high, but the service is top notch. Ian was extremely helpful and regularly kept me up to date on the progress of the delivery of the JL bass, and even offered a loaner bass until the one I asked for came in. Definitely coming back again in the future when I’m ready to upgrade the door speakers.

I had Audio Express install a basic sound system in my 2003 Toyota Sequoia. Im actually still blown away at how amazing the system sounds. My wife thought it was pretty awesome and my youngster loves to jam out to it. These guys have earned my trust and it was a pleasure working with them.

The service was top notch with salesman that weren’t pushy. I dropped off my truck at 9am and had her back before noon. My Boss stereo sounds on point and I would highly recommend them.

I loved the fact that I had little knowledge of what could be done for my vehicle and they directed me by providing several options for my specific needs. Had sub installed, work was decent but the installer decided on their own that the bass knob needed to be installed out of reach on the left side of the driver way down on the dash. They did correct this issue when I brought it back for the final tune of the amp/speakers but it did waste a couple of hours that could have been avoided had they asked where I wanted the knob installed first and not deciding on their own where it should go. Overall Im happy with the outcome and would go there again in the future.

The manager was great. Made sure i was taken care of! Worked me in to make some final touch ups as well and appreciated them being so cooperative over everything. Customer service was great!

This location has a great team. Starts at the top with Ian and my sales guy Mario who were extremely helpful and went out of their way to get the job done. I needed a flip down DVD player installed and needed it in 2 days before a family trip. Ian had it sent from a location in Tucson overnight to get it installed next day. Ian calls me half way through the day to tell me my existing radio had been damaged ( from the previous owner I bought the car from) and still was able to help with a replacement and discount. They still got it done by the end of the day. Mario was really knowledgeable and was very easy to work with. The install was perfect and I am extremely happy. They promised a finish time and hit it without hiccup. When I arrived to pick up my suburban Mario took all the time I needed to help me understand how to use everything and again was extremely helpful. Use these guys you won’t be disappointed!!

This place is top notch. They have a unique combination of knowledge, experience and great customer service. Dustin is the manager of the install bay and rightly so. He is s genius when it comes to audio/video. Ian in is up front with the same genius on equipment and hardware that can only come from years in the industry. By far this combination is the best of the best.

I had asked them to connect a speaker meant for motorcycles to an electric scooter, which I understand is a unique job for them. However, they were willing to help me out and even charged me for less hours than it took because I had been initially promised it would not go over 4 hours for the installation. They did an amazing job and am glad I came here. I would definitely come here in the future for anything similar.

I just had a stereo and back up camera installed in my Jeep Wrangler. From the moment I walked in the door and Cody greeted me the whole experience was top notch. He showed me different options from least expensive too most expensive. He was not high pressure. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I went in to upgrade my stock stereo for my 2019 Tacoma. I walked in and didnt know what to expect but a consultant asked me a few questions about my music taste and my vehicle. He made a suggestion and we were off to those recommendations. When we listened to the demo I was blown away with the clarity I was missing out on my stock speakers. So the installation was quick delivered as promised. So its been a day and I cant tell you how pleased I am with the work. Not only I hear my music which seems like the first time. I feel the music not just the physical aspects of that, that is there let me tell you, but I feel it like it was intended by the artist. My hat is off to you Audio Express for a job beyond well done. I cant thank you more enough! And to those who are still reading, you wont be disappointed.

Quick and easy! had an older sub that i had purchased from them a couple years back that i definitely blew. went in to see these guys and i was in and out in 5 minutes! thought i was going to have to drop my car off overnight for sure. excellent service these guys are awesome and i tell all of my friends and family to come here if they want to get hooked up!

I had an appointment this week for a radio repair after waiting two weeks. When I arrived, on time, I was informed that I could not wait for the repair and would need to drop it off or reschedule for another two weeks out. I was also informed that the longer I take to make up my mind the More people would come in and be put ahead of me. I said evidently you dont want my business and left, never to return

We had Ian ( Manager) at Audio Express location on Gilbert Road do a turn Key Audio and LED installation on our Navigator. Ian and his senior technician was very professional and curtious to us and made recommendations based on my budget and installation requirements, which were discussed as well as a walk through on the vehicle of their capabilities to replicate my needs prior to installation. Ian and his team came through and they under promised and over delivered. I will use Ian and his team at Audio Express for any of my personal vehicles in the future. Thanks Ian !!!!

They advertised one price, then what they quoted me on the phone was a higher price, then what they quoted me in person was even a higher price, then what the work ended up actually costing was even a higher price. I did not appreciate the lack of transparency in pricing and how much more it ended up costing than what I was initially told.

I recently purchased a Viper alarm for my car. From start to finish they are professionals. I am happy with the service I received. I will be back for a new stereo in the coming months. There is a reason they have been in business so long. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Went it with low expectations(of the chain) that stemmed from an old, poor reputation about prices and customer service.Firstly, it was the only audio place I could find that would do a simple deck installation same/next day, even with having 8+ cars same day. I went in at open, was seen immediately, it was well staffed. They took a quick look at my setup and quoted me a very reasonable price that ended up coming out better than a competitor. Customer service with friendly, informative, and knowledgeable. My biggest thing was being worried about getting ripped off. They talked me through every detail of the pricing. Job was done in a few hours.Would recommend getting your quote in person, rather than over the phone. Much better for both parties.

I made the trip to audio express because they are a JL audio dealer. Our transaction was pretty simple. I knew what I was looking for, they had it in stock, and I purchased it.Mario helped me spend my money, without hesitation. He didnt even try to stop me and tell me to save for a rainy day. I told him what I wanted. He asked who would be doing the install and if I would like them to do it. I thanked him but declined. I told him I do all my installs, and have for years. He then checks stock. We have them. Still, nothing from Mario to stop this madness of a car audio obsession. Its like he is encouraging me to do it. Do you need any wire, sound deadener, etc... He asks. Why Mario, why? My wife may kill me when she sees what youve enabled me to do. I say no to the extras, Ive already done all that fun stuff during the first install. This was just an upgrade from the original system installed 4 years ago. I need more bass, my car hasnt fallen apart yet. Mario takes my money like a professional, hands me my new toys, and off I drive into the sunset.Thank you, Mario, and audio express for letting me spend my money. This will be one happy bass head 😁. I brought my ‘13 Jeep Wrangler in to get the stock stereo upgraded, which was a must! Came in and talked to the guys about what we were looking for, they answered all our questions and didn’t try to push us to buy anything we didn’t want. We came back the following weekend for the install, they were very communicative during the whole process. They gave me a call when it came to placement on certain things since we do use our Jeep off-road as well. We came back to pick it up and it was way better than we had expected! I was hesitant at first with paying for a complete upgrade but I do not regret it all! It’s definitely added value to my vehicle and definitely an upgrade to the listening experience. Wanted a replacement audio system for a small RV. Was shown a unit with the features I wanted. I was not shown a less expensive Sony unit with the same features. Was not offered help or advice. Left the store without a face trim. Another trip...

I live in East Mesa. I called for a whole new setup in my car, was told wiring harness kit would have to be ordered, or I could pick up instead at different location. So I did that, but turned into me driving across town, waiting an hour at the 51st Ave/Bell location, and then rushing back to Mesa location for nothing. Ian (manager in Mesa) already left and they were closing up. I would never give this place a penny of my money after what they just put me through.Thank you!

My experience purchasing here was second to none in terms of customer service and staff knowledge as to what I wanted and what they could provide to meet my needs. Ian and Mario took took the time to work with me and ask questions like what was the biggest problem I had with my current system what were the things that I was trying to achieve in a new system. They didn’t just lay on an expensive system on me and say yeah this would be great but this is the only thing that’s going to work. Went to checkout stereo systems for a 06 Honda Accord. Got a nice sound system and a alarm for my moms car. Mario was very helpful and super easy to talk to. The guys at Audio Express were Great! Mike was very helpful in helping me understand my new Kenwood stereo. And the install required a special dash plate that they just happened to have on hand. Install was quick and looks perfect. I highly recommend the Mesa Audio Express!

This was my second time my family has used this company and location in Mesa, and they never fail to impress! I had my 2018 Ford Focus factory stereo taken out to add a 10inch receiver and they had everything completed in less than half the day!Super professional, and easy to work with. Stay away from these crooks they charged me $300 to install speakers and didnt even do it then lied to the bank after I disputed the charge. Plus they wired my subs wrong and didnt tune the amp and fried my new subs. Corporate ignores you or hangs up on you!!!

Great service every time I visit here. Ive been coming here for car audio for over 10 years. The quality of work, customer service, honesty and pricing is top quality. Went in today cuz my deck stopped working. Instead of selling me a new one, they tested it on the work bench and found the deck to be fine. With a small service fee, they had me out the door with a quickness, and I was back to shaking windows. Audio express will be my go too for anything audio.

This store was incredible. I was having sound issues on my 2009 Harley Davidson, I knew it was a poor install from previous company that did initial work. The team there took the time to get me the right new front speakers and found a problem with a bad rca cable. They went over the next steps to get more sound out of my bike. I will not take any of my vehicles any place else after the amazing service I received.Thank you for being an honest and up frontshop. I will see you soon for the next round of work.

Superb customer service, value and installation. My experience started last week with a very friendly and knowledgeable sales person. He listened to my needs and recommended products the best fit myself and my son. Fast forward a week. The team was ready for my installation and completed it in the exact time they stated. Sry happy with the recommendations...new deck, kicker hideaway sub and a backup camera. Getting an upgraded stereo is a right of passage for each of my children and this is by far the best experience we have had.Highly recommend!

I went to audio express with my son yesterday. While there we were decided on a stereo to buy. We knew there would be a kit required to install the radio so we asked how much the kit was. The sales person quoted us $219. I looked on Amazon and saw the installation kit was $20 and the antenna adapter was $13 online. My tipping point that push me into not making my purchase was when another salesman was talking to a customer trying to upsell him on speaker wire. He told him the shorter the speaker wire length of the bigger the gauge need to be. The customer proceeded to say that did not make sense to him and the sales person insisted that that was the case. I finally took up myself to explain to the customer how longer wire has more resistance and that’s the reason for bigger gauge not shorter wire. It turned into a small argument but ended up with me leaving the store and the customer having a better understanding of how much and what size wire he needed to get rather than being specifically lied to by the sales person

This is the fifth car that these guys have done for me….not small projects either! I asked for a system that’s easy to use but sound freakin amazing! These guys know what to do from easy to complicated….Cody and Ian rock!

A great place, the guys there were all very knowledgeable to someone like who is very new to the bass system world. They told me exactly what I needed for the best sound, not only that they did it in a timely fashion! Within 3 hours my car was back in my hands ready to listen to my new 12” subwoofers.

Had a simple and easy experience. Scheduled me the next day for some repairs to my boat stereo system. Ian handled most of the process and the installer chatted with me before I left.
