I’m from the South, where folks take DG seriously and they are located every other mile, so I’ve been a loyal shopper of the chain my whole life. I had to look a little harder to find them here in Arizona, but this location is worth the drive. This is a great store with helpful friendly staff. Their shelves were well stocked and they had my dollar general brand sponges that I’ve been using for 15 years... so I will definitely be back!

The best customer service I have ever had at a dollar general. It’s been a couple of weeks since I’ve been there and I meant to post before.I will never go to another Dollar General again if I do it will only be that particular one great people great customer service.

I love going to dollar general. Never crowded. Always new little things to shop for. I get best prices on household items I need like cleaning, beauty care, seasonal allergy/flu meds and vitamins, Batteries etc. Its always affordable and I love dollar general online coupons.

I was looking for Lysol and they didnt have any. None of the Dollar Stores had any. You need to limit one per customer. That way others will be able to get some also

Great location, very clean and neat. The employees were very nice, both the cashier and the manager. They greeted me upon entering and asked if I needed any help finding something. They were very helpful but not pushy lol they were also putting out stock but didnt disregard people because they were otherwise busy. Good selection of things, too.

Basic and standard Dollar General. Basic customer service, had one employee greet us while shopping, cashier was pleasant but immediately after the last item was bagged, he got on his cell phone.

This place is so expensive for what its name implies. You can find the same stuff at the dollar tree for only a dollar. Everything in the store is over priced.

I like shopping at the Dollar Store and today I needed a couple of Christmas cards in a hurry. The gal was right there stocking the cards. She was very nice and helped me find what I needed. They always very friendly.

Nothing against the store or staff in general, but my experience was immediately frustrating and gross, and management should quickly and fully prioritize a level of cleaning and pest control above what I just experienced. Upon parking, I had to move a heavy fallen branch in order to step out of the car due to sloppy tree trimmers. Next, there was a big used bandaid in the street just outside my young sons car door, along with ants all over the parking space, and dead upside down cockroach 6 from the stores northern entrance. On principle, I went in because I was there and my son really wanted a toy. Not much of a surprise given the amount of ants in the lot just in front of the store, there were also ants near the cash register. Thats not the experience one wants to have when attempting to shop, even if the prices sound like a bargain.

This store is definitely one of the cleaner and friendliest store in the Dollar General chain. I shopped here during a clearance event and although it was busy the manager (man) was very very nice and helpful. The other female cashier (young native) was also very nice and friendly. Even when I found a pricing error on my order that required a refund the manager acknowledge the error and gave me the difference . I wish all the Dollar General store were as clean and friendly as this one. Unfortunately, live in Phoenix and had to travel over 22 miles to get here. The Dollar General near me, is pretty awful and has rude ungrateful employees. The Mesa store on Higley is doing a great job!

I love,love,love their sales. No matter food or clothing they have some good ones. I like the clothing to add some inexpensive items to my wardrobe. The pet supplies and laundry things are always a good price also.

Been keeping things organized and faced. Decent holiday section with so much to choose from. Found many stocking stuffers and a few gift exchange items. Love this place for all it has for so many departments.

Lots of good quality cleaning supplies. Birthday party stuff is sold here. As well as make up.

They are beginning to think of themselves as an actual store and the prices have been going up accordingly, still some good finds I like to go there and buy my reading glasses And cleaning products but best of all they carry my favorite Gingersnap cookies

Employee was rude as he cussed (used the f word) and didnt understanding couponing and he ranted to anyone who would listen. It is not his place to be judgemental. Just do your job and be done with it. That conversation should have ended with that customer not the 5 you served after her. Get a grip dude! The lady that was with him on duty didnt share his attitude she was nice and pleasant. Not sure I would shop here again.

A few weeks ago, I went to the store to use digital coupons on the dollar general app. When I approached the counter, the blond cashier informed me (with a negative attitude) “your deals aren’t going to work, they never do...” and when the total was what I expected, I kindly thanked her and left. She had no reply to me after my transaction. Today I reluctantly returned, out of fear this woman would be working and once again shame me, and this time brought a paper coupon to include with all the rest of my coupons being digital. The same cashier attempted to scan the coupon only once and said “we don’t accept coupons that don’t scan”. I politely asked her to try again since another store in Pima, Arizona attempted to scan other paper coupons I gave them about 6 times before they worked right. She looked at me and wouldn’t respond, so I exchanged the items to use a different digital coupon on the app. I am not unhappy with the products or the outcome of my actual shopping list.. I am however baffled and shocked that they are allowed to treat humans the way they do, most particularly this woman. I was not only shamed for using coupons (that DOLLAR GENERAL AUTHORIZES AND ADVERTISES), but I also witnessed her talking negatively around and about other customers in the store who weren’t using coupons. She clearly has a problem working with the general public.

Very crowded, manager had no one to open another register. Customers were walking out. Could have certainly used more help. I counted 12 people in our line

They had no regard for any customers and I saw literally two different customers stealing tried to tell them and wasnt paying attention and seems like store was very unorganized

The manager of this place was rude, insulting, and COMPLETELY out of line and should not be working with customers. WORST and most humiliating interaction as a customer with an employee, let alone manager, of a retail store.
