Wish I could give them two reviews. Rentals are great, parts are decent prices. Had some chainsaw chains sharpened here and I dont know if they dont know how to set up the sharpening machine or dont care, but 3 almost brand new chains came back ground down to nubs. Ouch.

Best place to rent machines for landscaping. No deposit no hassle just pay and get to work. As long as you have a truck to pick up your rental then youre good. They dont deliver which is the only bad thing I guess you could say. But I was renting from home depot and once I found this place ill never go back. Highly recommend coming here not only to rent but to purchase whatever machine you need to get the job done.

This review is based on an interaction solely over the phone. I havent been in the store so I cant rate that. To start I called and a nameless person answered the phone. She sounded like a younger female. I wanted to know the exact price of a specific saw that would have to be ordered. She initially made a guess at what the saw cost. That is not very helpful. I can guess at what the saw should cost as well. Then I asked about a specific part and she said that I couldnt order it over the phone and that I would have to come into the store to order it. Why would I waste time and gas going to the store to order a $10 part, then have to come back again at a later time to get it? Hopefully, all of the employees arent this bad and hopefully, that isnt true about ordering parts over the phone. Either way, I have moved on and found a better shop that could give me straight answers and the ability to order over the phone.

Ive only had a riding lawnmower for about a year and a half. Both times Ive had my Cub Cadet mower serviced (not with Mow Power), I felt like they overcharged and underdelivered. I was only going to order a part from Mow Power then have it installed, but after talking with the technician Eli I decided to bring in my mower and let him take a shot at fixing it. I used it today and couldnt be happier!! My mower runs better then the day I got it and the price was totally reasonable for the repair. Huge shout out to the team and especially Eli for service that was above and beyond! As long as hes a tech there, I will continue to bring in my mower and refer Mow Power.

If I could give zero stars I would. Brought in a mower because the engine blew up less then 40 hours. They tell me they are not going to cover it because there tech believes it was low on oil when all services and maintenance are up to date by dealer. I asked if they tore it apart to confirm what they thought, there answer was nope just what we think. Then go to pick it up and they charge me for an inspection fee when they clearly had already told me they did nothing to it. Worst place to deal with and manager just walks away when asking questions. Never coming back nor will I recommend them to anyone. If your machine has a warranty it wont here.

Best place for parts theyve got everything

Not for the DIY lawn care. Those of us who have to be to work Mondays at 7a.m. Keep going to A to Z. Closes at noon on Saturdays. Which makes as much sense as the their name.Who cares if youre locally owned, if the owner has NO customer service skills.

Terrible customer service. Todd Taylor should be ashamed of his terrible customer service. This is my first time renting here. I usually go to A To Z Equipment, but I figured I’d give these guys a chance. Forget it, I’m never coming back here. I recommend A to Z or even Home Depot rentals.

I did not know this place even existed! Lots of equipment and plenty of friendly staff. I purchased a power broom and while checking out I mentioned an issue I was having with a leaf blower I purchased from Home Depot. Jordan was extremely helpful and showed me exactly how to fix my leaf blower at home. Oh and they also filled the tank of my new power broom. Thanks Mow Power! I will be looking for an excuse to come back.

Took my reel mower to have the blades sharpened. After I got it home, it appears they didnt spend much time sharpening them. They seemed pretty dull compared to where I had them done last time. $70 for a half a** job that took two weeks. Nice people is why I gave them 2 stars.

Jordan and Richard are great guys! I take all my saws and Stihl equipment here to be serviced the prices are great and the staff is very honest and trustworthy. I drop off my equipment tell them call me when its done if the cost gets close to the price of a new saw then they give me a call and let me know if its worth it or not. Cant say enough good things about this company. All employees have been there for a long time so obviously Todd (the owner) treats his guys well. Been going here for less than a year and everybody knows me by name.

You will not find another shop like this in town, or perhaps even the country. This company sells, rents, maintenences, and repairs! The team/staff is top notch, they know their stuff. Their product selection is top notch as well. Whether you have a commercial landscaping company or feel like buying a Stihl chainsaw to work around your own house, this is the place to go. The store is badass too.

Just made a quick call to inquire as to whether they sharpen shears and electric hedge clippers. The representative was very friendly and informative. I wasn’t left waiting on hold long, either! And by the way, they do sharpen depending on the blades.

Mow Power always provides great service for a fair price. I usually bring my lawn mowers and other tools for maintenance every other year or so. Good service although it may take longer to get your tools back during the high season.

Mow power is one of the best landscaping supply stores in town. They have professional staff to answer any questions you have. Their prices beat other stores in town plus they care about every tool that you can think of. I would highly recommend going there.

Took my son’s poorly maintained, hard to start, zero turn cub cadet in on Saturday at closing time picked it up Tuesday morning, Rebuilt carburetor, full service, new starter. Price was exactly as quoted. Two day turn around in the middle of the summer. I don’t think that would happen any where else in the valley.

Ive tried twice to spend my money here but due to incompetence of the counter staff I failed to do so both times. How hard is to find a throttle cable clamp and stop? Those parts are used universally on small engines for ages. I guess Amazon really is the best way to go nowadays.

Great experience renting a large power washer. Quick and easy with knowledgeable people on hand. They beat competition by 50% with a smile.As a suggestion, have them start up all gas powered devices. This is not to say they dont work, it is to educate so you will know how to start it.

Used to get great service, but seems it has declined recently. Most recently I dropped off my line trimmer because it seemed to be leaking fuel. I stated specifically that I wanted them to look for a fuel leak. After a week and a half I called to check up on the trimmer and they said it was ready for pick up. Took it to trim my yard the same day and it quite 3 minutes into the job. The air filter was soaked in fuel. I took it back and showed them what was wrong. They told me they could fix it for an additional $30. I proposed that they fix it for free since I has specifically requested they search for the fuel leak in the first place but they said they would not do that. Had they fixed it right the first time, it would have been worth the $65.00 total, but now having wasted my time going back and forth, I will be looking for a new outfit to service my yard machines.

If you are trying to save $4 on a chainsaw to cut down one tree and never use the saw again - this is the wrong place. These are real machines that last. They deal in quality and its not cheap - its reasonable. Go to Wally world or a pawn shop if you are not wanting to deal with something that you can pass down a few generations. The store is run by good people who know their products.

Called them about getting my lawn mower repaired and the guy on the phone said just bring it in you dont need an appointment. So I haul this heavy piece of equipment in and out of the trunk of my car in 108 degree heat and the guy at the counter tells me that they only work on Black & Decker which mine isnt. I tell him that they might want to mention that on the phone when people call inquiring he just shrugs his shoulders like its not my problem didnt even offer to help me put it back in the trunk of my car. Ill never go there for anything again! Maybe they should call themselves Black & Decker Lawn Mower Repair

Took my 19 inch 25 year old tiff mower in for a sharpening. Not only does is cut great, but I can tell they adjusted the throttle cable assembly so it shuts off cleanly and put a little gas in it to check things out. Then they helped my load it up in the truck. Great service!

Took my mower for service in july 3 days later they said the carb needed to be rebuild and a few more things the bill came out a $100 dollars i didnt mind paying that 2 weeks later i got around to cut the grass .. Well it wouldnt turn over it would sputter and sputter and after about 20 pulls and a few choise words it started up i tied a rope around the handle to keep it from turning off and i cut the grass. When i went out to use it about 2 or so weeks later i couldnt get it to work .i took the mower back in with the receipt and the counter person said he would check it out to wait here. 3to 5 min later he came out and said i used bad gas and it would cost 67dollars to rebuild the carb again i told him i had not put gas in it cause it didnt work ... Dont go there find some outher place stay far away from this place

Brought in a commercial pressure washer unit with engine troubles. Backfiring and oil leaks were the two problems. Also brought in a backpack blower just needing to be serviced. I was told the pressure washer had valve problems and needed to be adjusted. This cost $250. They said the blower would be complete as well and I could come pick them both up. Went to pickup only to be asked if my blowers cutoff switch was working properly when I brought it in? I said yes, he went to the back and returned stating it’s not working now and to leave it and they will get it back to the condition I brought it in. Um... okay? So I left it. Went to pressure wash only to still find leaks. Brought it back in. Blower was ready when I returned. They said it wasn’t the engine leaking now it was the pressure washer pump and they do not work on these. They recommended me to AAA Pressure Washers where they said nope... it’s not the pump, it’s the engine. So back to Mow Power. They look into it and now say it needs a new head gasket. They do the work. No leaks now, but backfiring again. Brought it back again. Now they said it was the gas causing the backfire and to switch gas and add a fuel cleaner. I was using QT gas and switched to shell adding a fuel additive to clean the fuel system as directed. This cleared the problem up immediately. (Makes me wonder if the valves needed to be adjusted or cleaned since changing the fuel seem to clear up the problem) No backfiring! Back to work, only to find it still leaking. Brought it back during the afternoon to be looked at to be told to come back first thing in the morning. Mind you it’s about 45min from my home. No worries, I return the next morning and drop it off. Maybe an hour goes by and Todd the owner calls and informs me to call him back. Now his findings are the motor needs to be rebuilt and they don’t do that there of course. He said he did a compression test and that both cylinders were lower then the manufacturers specifications. Why wasn’t a compression test done before the head gasket was installed? As he stated in our phone conversation that my unit has high hours 945 to be exact, so again wouldn’t that be another red flag to do a compression test to see if the engine is in proper working order. I would of had no problem replacing the engine from the start if that’s what they recommended due to bad compression. It really feels like I was nickeled and dimed on parts to patch the problems rather then fix them. He is literally calling me a liar as to how much my unit gets used, even though there is a working hour meter. I’ve literally put about 25hrs on the unit since the valve and head gasket work totaling around $700! I will be reporting this to the BBB, and to the AZ Attorney General.

Machine did not work, did not get money back or store credit.I rented Friday just before the close and they did not test the machine for me. I got home and not able to make it work and I needed one at that moment so I went and bought one from Sams club.First thing Sat morning (today) I go back and they took it back and they say they were able to started (I didn’t see it work) so they can’t do nothing for me...Is only $35 dlls, is not going to break me but that speaks of their Customer service... I had it rented for a full 24hrs and they nothing in return... that’s why they get 1 star

Great small engine service with reasonable pricing. They stock Stihl, Echo, Honda and other lawn equipment for sale or rent.I have brought Stihl chainsaws and Honda mowers for service. They have always treated me fairly. MowPower has better pricing on new Honda mowers than the big box stores.I do wish they were open past noon on Saturdays. They would get more of my business if they were. Also, the parking is tight. If you dont mind stepping over a 2 ft wall, parking in the lot immediately north is much easier.

I will never use their services again. A few months ago I brought them an Echo 580T, a very highly rated backpack blower that had trouble starting and running after 6 months of use. I explained to them that I switched to a new fuel blend about a few days before the issue arose and that even after dumping the fuel and putting in my previous mix ratio/fuel that it still had trouble. After them having it for 3 weeks they called to say that the engine was destroyed and the unit was junk.......but they would be more than happy to show me new/used units. Well me being the stubborn person that I am, and refusing to throw away such an expensive unit, I took it to someone else to service. Turns out all it needed was a simple tune up.. 15 dollars in labor, about 5 dollars in parts and it was running again..... avoid like the plague
