I had another meeting so I had to leave early and didnt have time to order my dinner. However, I did order meatball sliders to go. Happy hour menu prices for appetizers are extremely good. These were $6 and well worth it! The sauce is delicious the meatballs are large and the bread is scrumptiously soft. Its not really a slider. Its a meatball, with sauce and an ample amount of mozzarella cheese melted on top, all on top of a slice of buttered toasted French bread with sauce on the side. The sauce was extremely tasty and the meatballs were ample; I guess over an inch in diameter. Vitos has been around for a very very long time and for good reason!

This place deserves 10 ⭐️. We had a small celebration and they let us decorate the table. The host, waitress and (I think) the manager/ owner were all very welcoming and friendly. Food was absolutely amazing. They are also very generous with the portions. My risotto was loaded with seafood. New favorite Italian restaurant!

Love the family owned attention to detail. Friendly service and amazing food! And they dont hurry you through, definitely give time to enjoy visiting with friends and family. We usually have large parties 8-20 and they always take great care of us.

We ordered a pizza and it was hot and very good. Our server Colby, was very attentive and replaced our drinks quickly and asked us several times if we needed anything. Sound proofing would help as it is noisy there.

I love this place for meeting your good friends or co-workers and sharing some good lunch. I had the chicken club sandwich which I enjoy.The chicken was juicy and and full of flavor. It was my first time going there today and I was a part of a party of eight. It took about an hour for us to get our food due to some sort of mix-up. Others that have been there said this wasnt very typical of Vitos. They also tried there best to make it right and even gave us free dessert which was very nice. They were also very apologetic.

I am new to Mesa and I have been trying local restaurants. I decided to try Vitos for my birthday because of the positive reviews I have read and delicious sounding menu and it did not disappoint!!!! Giselle greeted us at the door and was very knowledgeable and warm. The food was fantastic and the atmosphere was cozy. I will definitely be back!!

The server was excellent...perfect.The food was very good. The calamari was a little fishy. But the pizza and the Chicken Parmigiana with spaghetti was tasty. I would definitely go back.

I had lunch here the weekend before last. Has a mom and pop feel and the decor was very nice. The service was great, the food hit the spot and the prices were reasonable. A strong recommend, but call ahead as I believe they do get very busy during dinner time.

Vitos has the best pizza anywhere. They have some really unique toppings that are amazing. It is a bit of a drive for us but we go there once or twice a month because it is so good.

Vitos has been absolutely wonderful!The Admin & Front Office team for our school, about a mile away from the Mesa location, had a lunch meeting here and decided right away we needed to be friends with the staff and use them for our events. The food is delicious and there are so many options for our Gluten-Free friends as well. The presentation of the food is also very beautiful.Vitos staff has also gone ABOVE AND BEYOND for our school. We wanted to order a few sandwich platters from their catering menu for our teacher Pre-Service. Since we had already eaten there, a gluten-free option was requested but they dont have gluten-free bread or the right kind of lettuce for a wrap so the manager bought gluten-free bread for our staff! Seriously, that was amazing!! I dont know of anywhere else that would go buy extra supplies for a few customers.We cannot wait to continue partnering with them for events and meetings!

I went in last night and it was my first time! This girl was super nice when she sat us. I wish I got her name, I forgot it but she complemented my eyebrows and I just loved that. The customer service is great and the food came out fast and was very tasty. This old lady sat by us who looked like a regular and the staff was just so kind to her. It made me so happy to know how well they treat customers. Thank you!

First time at Vitos last night. Immediately impressed with the building exterior and environment. Tiffany was an amazing server, got everything right with our order, checked with us often, and had such a friendly demeanor so we really enjoyed our dining experience with her.Shout out to the cooks as well who prepared the best pizza Ive ever had! (And Ive eaten a lot) The double crust was so crispy and the pizza had real fullness to it.

Wonderful place... family owned, friendly staff, good quality food at very reasonable prices...all in a homey, warm and very comfortable dining room. I especially like the subdued lighting...it seems to enhance the experience. Also, you will find your fellow diners to be friendly and pleasant, clearly absent of boisterousness, pomp, and other intrusive behavior. Accordingly, my fiancé and I are perpetual patrons, and will continue to be.

Bar services is exceptional, food is amazing as well. Just move to that area and it is our new favorite place to go to.

Absolutely the best Italian restaurant that I have been to in AZ. A Friday night date, 1st time for us both. The coconut shrimp was superb, we split a lasagna and it was just like my grandmother used to make. The atmosphere and staff was wonderful. Definitely going back soon.

Came here for a friend’s birthday dinner. The food was amazing . The staff was very friendly and helpful. The Appetizers were great. We had the pizza and it was some of the best I found in Arizona .

Came today for my birthday and it was sooo good! My boyfriend loved his pizza and the lasagna is the best i’ve had from a restaurant. Angela (i think that was her name!!) was also very kind and made it an overall great lunch.

We had a party of eight for a birthday and Easter celebration and as usual it was outstanding! Service was spot on and our server (forgot his name) was one of the best Ive ever had. Cauliflower crust pizza was perfectly crunchy, mounded with mozzarella and flavor (alfredo sauce, spinach & cooked tomatoes.) Gluten free pizza (homemade) was thicker and also delicious, with red sauce and mushrooms. As always, great service. Love this place!

Pizza and bread was really good. Service was okay... our server was paying closer attention to the tables with 4 or more. We had to waive her down a couple of times to get her attention. Thats a bummer because we would have tipped her more then she would have ever recieved from the larger parties. Her loss though.

We had a great Happy Hour experience with a few friends. our Server, Gabby was very busy yet gave us great service. The half price appetizers are delicious. Gabby ensured our drinks were kept full and our food was to our satisfaction. Gabby is a great server and should be commended.

My order was for takeout. I was told my order would be ready in 20 min. but it turned out to be 30 min. Aside from that, the food was flavorful authentic, fresh ingredients, friendly staff.

We have always loved vitos but lately our food has been subpar. Ive already called and complained once about the $50 I paid for the wrong pizza and wet mushy cold wings being delivered. We didnt want any money back just to let them know. I talked to the new male manager then. Since then we have gotten 2 more blah looking pizzas in the take out window since we have given up on delivery. Ive also been charged different prices for the same exact order. Have the receipt to prove it. I really hope they get whatever is going on fixed or our vitos days will have to be over for a while.

The restaurant itself was very nice and clean on the inside and the staff were very professional and polite. The quality of the food however was disappointing, we ordered fettuccini Alfredo, seafood au gratin and a pepperoni pizza. the Alfredo had no flavor and the seafood dish did not look appetizing, it was just bland and unbearably fishy, it left a horrible taste in my mouth that took hours to get rid of. And the pizza although it had a frozen pizza feel and taste to it was ok. Overall we left disappointed and unsatisfied.

Love their Buffalo Chicken pizza and the assortment of specialty pizzas we chose! We all enjoyed our outing & had amazing service from Gabby. Looking forward to our next visit!!!

There were two people at the bar. The service was extremely slow, so I asked the hostess for a table. Vinny, my server did a great job. I enjoyed a salad and some wine with my chicken piccata- good. The tiramisu and coffee- good. Again, Vinny did a great job.

We had a group of 14 that Bike 2 Lunch, we have a Great waitress Jackie! I gave her a hard time that this was my Birthday Month. Last Monday we went to Gilbert House with 14 and it was my birthday. They gave me a story and NOTNING for my birthday. We had 14 paying customers. Food was way too salty and couldnt eat it, sauce has way too much onion, really loud with too many patrons so jammed in, waiter was nice.. wont go back.

April 21, 2021 was the first time eating at Vitos Pizza & Italian Ristorante and it wont be my last. The atmosphere is nice. The food is great. My father and I started out with an appetizer of the Bacon Wrapped Scallops that tasted great. My father and i joked, saying the only bad thing about the Scallops was, there wasnt enough of them. Lol. My wife and mother shared an appetizer of Bruschetta, that was great, but the Scallops are hard to beat.My father and I, being seafood lovers, each ordered a different meal and shared it because we both wanted the same meals. So we split them. I ordered the Seafood Lasagna and dad ordered the Seafood Au Gratin. Both loaded with real seafood. Not the imitation stuff. We couldnt make up our minds as to which was better. Both great tasting. My wife ordered the Sausage and Pepper meal that she enjoyed very much. She said it was a little spicy for her, but it tasted great and kept eating it. Mom had the Lasagna, a huge portion with allot of sauce. Shes 85 and ate allot of it and loved it. All the meals we ordered were large portions and very filling. Next visit? Im thinking the Lobster Ravioli is my next try. Sitting here eating my leftovers and decided to write a review of my experience. Oh we had a very good waiter too named Vinny. The whole night was a great experience, thanks!

Great Italian in the east valley. Not sure if it’s the best in the area but it’s worth eating here. Service was excellent from start to finish. The food was delicious. I got the sausage stuffed chicken with the sunrise sauce—a great choice. The portions are huge! We didn’t get a pizza this time but that’s what they started out doing. Prices are fair for the quality and the size of the dishes. Would come back again.

Phoned in an order for a pizza at 3:01 pm and was told it would be ready in 20 minutes. When I arrived at window I waited for about 5 minutes at window for pizza. Finally someone came to window, took my money and told it would be ready in 3 minutes. That I should drive to the side. So I waited some more and then pulled up to window and virtually no one came to pickup window. People just stood there and looked at me so I called on phone to get someones attention. I was told again that pizza was going to take another few minutes. I received my pizza at 3:53 pm. I have gone to Vittos for years but will never return because of poor service and terrible disregard for my feelings while never being acknowledged.

The lasagna and meatballs were memorable. Was that honey I detected in the marinara?

It was not too crowded when we went. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable on the menu. The food was good for the price and quite filling. Even with the just-right serving portions, we left with a couple of leftovers.

My wife and I have eaten at Vitos many times and never been disappointed. The thin crust pizza and fresh salads are wonderful.

Very relaxing and confortable establishment. The atmosphere is very calm and the food was great and served in a normal short amount of time, we were all very surprised and enjoyed eating here as a family.

For being a ma & pop shop in the east valley, this place makes very authentic and delicious food. My family gets take out here at least 1-2 times a week, and both their pizza and their pasta is fantastic. Once every 5 times or so theyll get our order wrong, but if we take it back they correct it. Make sure to order early on the weekends or youll be waiting an hour to get your food. Did I mention their pasta is 5 star? I did not expect such high quality italian in our neighborhood Italian restaurant. Good job Vitos!

The food is mediocre for the price, the veal I ordered was underwhelming. However the staff was absolutely phenomenal and made it a favorite dining experience. Kim was our waitress and was literally the best hostess Ive ever experienced. The restaurant was accommodating and the atmosphere is fabulous.

Vitos has a great atmosphere. If you have a group they can accommodate. They also have a patio where you can eat when its cool outside. Now their food is excellent. Their pizzas are to die for. If you dont want to eat there, just call in your order and pick it up in their drive thru. I would say the only draw back is the parking. But for me the food out ways the parking.

My mother and I went here for lunch a few days ago and I just have to say good was the best Italian restaurant weve been to, we are from Seattle. The food was amazing it brought us back to the time we were in Italy. The ambience was great, very nice staff super friendly. The General manager was super nice and made the experience even better. Would recommend to go and have your own, great experience!

The groom decided to host the rehearsal lunch in at Vitos pizza and Italian Ristorante. What an amazing choice! As you can see they have a huge underground room called “the cellar”.This was big enough for at least 50 people, the service was outstanding, the food was great too! I am not a fan of sangria but my fiancé ordered it for herself, I tried it and ended up getting myself a glass too! Cannot recommend it highly enough!

Amazing place. Love the atmosphere, comfortable place to eat. I had the Caesar salad, meat lovers pizza and bread everything came out perfect. We will be eating here again when we return to the Phoenix area. Worth the drive but the parking is a little adventurous.

Chelsea was extremely accommodating and helpful during the entire planning process, and then even after cancelling she was great. We decided to support their business by having a staff luncheon catered and we could not have been happier with the food and service. Excellent authentic pizza with all fresh ingredients. Garlic knots were flavorful with fresh garlic and lots of melted butter. The drive up window was very convenient. I highly recommend this place!

They should train the people who answer the phone to act in a professional manner. Food is good when dining in, dont bother calling in to place order. Wont give them another shot.
