Weve been loyal Southern Pool & Spa customers for years, starting back when they were in their old location off of Cone Road, of course we followed them when they moved to South Courtenay Pkwy. In addition to carrying all the chemicals and pool supplies that you could possibly need there is Andrew and Trevor. This father/son team are so personable and knowledgeable. The reason we are on a first name basis with them is because they know who we are soon as we walk in the door, they know our pool from the service calls they have made to our pool over the years. Plus we go in almost weekly to test our water. Oh and did I mention when you do need a service call they are there within 24 hours if not the same day. Pumps, timers, broken pipes, they fix it all! Recently we noticed that our pool was losing water and I went in to talk to Andrew about it. He offered a leak detection service call AND he offered up that we might see if we could find the leak and fix ourselves. YES HE DID! He went over with me a common leak spot and once home we did the test and sure enough there it was. The leak test was $300 (not sure how much the repair would have been?) and the repair kit we bought from Southern Pool & Spa was like $40. Andrew saved us hundreds of dollars! This is a honest and hardworking family & staff who care about their customers on top of providing top notch service that cant be beat.

Trevor, Andrew, and Chris are always helpful, always customer-focused. They always offer to load my trunk with the heavy stuff. They always give good tips and helpful advice. Even though I dont use their monthly pool cleaning service, my neighbor does, and the pool guy is always friendly and professional. I really like this father and son operation. After many years of being gouged by the other pool store on Merritt Island, Southern Pool and Spa delivers excellent service at a reasonable price. I am in there at least once a month and the advice is always on point. A very satisfied buy-local experience.

After getting what I thought was good advice from 2 known area chain stores, I stopped by just to get a price quote. What I learned from Chris saved me $700. He explained to me that I did not need the expensive variable speed pool pump. They are very knowledgeable and will not try to sell you something you dont need.

Andrew and his dad Trevor are the best!!! They have gone out of their way multiple times as well as above and beyond in their effort to fix horrible mistakes made by another pool company in Merritt Island, Florida. They made a service call to my home to figure out the best way to fix my pool. My pool can not be fixed because the mess is that bad. Southern Pool and Spa is always stocked on the chemicals I need and have the best prices!!! Im always met with a friendly hello and am always helped in a timely fashion. This is one of the best family owned businesses that I am aware of. Please buy local from Andrew and his dad. You will not be disappointed.

I cant speak highly enough of Southern Pool & Spa. Trevor & Andrew run a very fair and honest business. We had them install a pool heater and they completed the work exactly as they said they would, on budget and on time. They also explained quite openly why installing certain equipment that I requested was a bad idea, even though it cost them in sales.

Reasonable prices and employees are knowledgeable how about pools and water treatment. I buy all my pool supplies here

The owner and his son are great. Will educate you on pool maintenance and they dont push any of the product. This is my go to store when I get in trouble with my pool.

Great experience, good choice and service, if they havent got it (rare occurence) they will generally have it the next day for you. A small, family business that goes the extra mile from my experiences.
