The place was busy. It smelled clean inside. I rescheduled my appointment because I didnt want to wait. Like everywhere, they are short on staff. They cant hire people because No one wants to apply & work!So please be patient, the guys are doing the best they can with their heavy work load. Being ugly doesnt do anyone any good. A person can only work and do as much as he can. Therefore, dont brow beat them.This is the reason I rescheduled. They were very busy with too many grumpy people on a Friday afternoon.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! they do not know what they are doing or what the problem is within a car itself. I came in with my jeep that has a knocking sound in the wheel well told them where it was coming from they keep it over night next day I get a call saying mechanic looked at it and its my transmission which is going to cost about $4,000 to replace. Me knowing theres no possible way that it could be that I go to get a second opinion. Guy backs jeep up hears it pulls jeep forward looks behind the wheel and theres the issue broken cv axel and the driveshaft needs to be replaced. Absolutely nothing was or is wrong with the transmission. Will never go to another pepboys ever again.

I used to go here for all I needed with my old car. I now have a new car and went in today for a new tire as I had a screw in my tires sidewall. At first I was a little irritated by how long it took but then found out they were short staffed so it was understandable. These guys have always been so sweet and easy to work with but most importantly TRUSTWORTHY. Literally the only place in Brevard County that I trust with my car.

Ive been here for an hour and 15 mins to get my oil changed. I scheduled an appt on Monday for 1pm today and they just now took my truck back. Its not busy. I have no clue why pep boys schedules appointments when they can never stick to the time. I came here based on the good reviews, but now I think theyre all bs.

We ordered tires online and scheduled an appointment to bring our truck in, they preauthorized our credit card, set the appointment and we showed up as scheduled. They promised a 3 day turnaround to receive our tires, they didnt have the tires in. ONLY AFTER I called to check what was going on did someone look to see what was going on. We have had this money on hold in our bank for over a week and just now heard that the tires that their website allowed us to purchase are discontinued in some twisted ploy to get us to buy some more expensive tires? Ill not be coming back here again or receomending them to anyone I know.... unprofessional and we STILL have a hold on our funds in our bank from them.....

I set an appointment online Friday at 330 and at 1 oclock to say they were all booked up and reschedule me for Monday at 1 I arrived at 12:50 and it took 2 hours to complete an oil change tire rotation in cabin air filter change That seemed a little long to me

Surprised that they were the lowest price compared to their competition...and that even included installation, which the competition didnt offer. Showed up at scheduled appointment time and they took my vehicle in immediately and were done in like 20 minutes. All the staff I dealt with couldnt have been any more friendly and helpful!!! Will definitely be back for any of our vehicle issues!!!!

Called at 6p.m. and needed tire plugged. They told me to come on in and they would get it in even though they close at 7p.m. very professional and top notch customer service! Even signed me up for rewards and saved me 10 bucks so only made $12 to plug my tire and stayed late to make sure it happened. Very satisfied and will return.

Dave is a great guy to deal with there at the shop, and Will is also a level headed mechanic as well. Both are very knowledgeable and always willing to go the extra mile for the customer. My family has gone through these 2 guys.

Showed up for appointment we made online and business was closed. After driving 45 minutes, we are not happy. If your closed, thats fine, but at least update your website appointment booking and google hours to reflect this...

I called last Friday morning to schedule a day-of appointment to get new tires and had no problems whatsoever. Pete has great customer service; he was very helpful over the phone. I highly recommend ordering the tires over the phone than via online; I managed to pay $30 less than if I had ordered online. I was told it would be an hour and a half wait, but ended up being only an hour. With every new set of tires, you get a year of roadside assistance, which I thought was pretty cool. Overall, very happy with my experience here.

I made an appointment in advance to get tires mounted and balanced on my truck. They knew the tire size, and quantity before hand. I take off work and show up just before my appointment and am told that i would not get my vehicle back that day. The front desk guy told me “duallys take hours longer to do”. I told him i had an appointment and that they already had my vehicle information beforehand and he told me no one gets their vehicle back the same day As their appointment! If they can not mount 6 tires from 3pm to close then i dont want them working on my truck anyways i guess.

After watching one employee help a customer for five minutes while a second employee played with his cell phone, the first employee then resumed a business phone call he accepted after we arrived. No acknowledgement was made of us when we arrived at 6 pm, but we were thanked for waiting when the first employee helped us at 610. The repairs were finished in a timely manner, thankfully.If the second employee cannot interact with customers, he should not be visible to customers, unless you want to give the impression that he is unconcerned about helping.

These guys were amazing! I had a tire going flat and was in tears that it wouldnt good air and didnt have any money, and these blessed souls fixed my stem and told me to get home and stay safe. I am forever grateful for them and when I need new tires, Ill be there. Thank you

After having noticing some severe steering issues, I brought my car to Pep Boys. Right off the bat, I liked these guys because they were the only mechanics I called that were willing to both take me in on short notice and not charge me for telling me what the problem was.Well, these guys fixed my car right up within an hour of me bringing it to them, described and showed me what the problem was, and (because it was a quick fix) didnt even charge me. When I tried tipping them for their incredible service, they politely turned the tip down. Quite honestly, this may have been one of the best customer service experiences Ive ever had the pleasure of receiving. I highly recommend these guys :)

We made an appointment to change all four of our tires at 6p. We would of done it sooner than 6pm but the tires that we purchased wasnt shipped to the shop yet. When we got here at six have been waiting here for over 2 hours to change all four tires. As opposed to one of their competitors Franks tire and auto service was able to change all 4 tires in 40 min. Very slow service.

I had an appointment at 10:30 am on 1/8/16 and I arrived around 10:20 am. When the young scrawny guy behind the counter said how can I help you I said I have an appointment for 4 new tires at 10:30 he said yeah I see ya right here as he looked at his computer. Then says you got some time? Because it will be a few hours before I get ya in. I said my appointment is at 10:30 why would it be a few hours until you start my work. He replies so you dont have time? I said I have time to do 4 tires at 10:30 he said I cant get you in for at least a few hours. I said I cant do that he says (and this is the best part) I can get you an appointment on another day. Really.? Because it seems like you are good at keeping those. I walked out and will be spending my$800+ elsewhere for tires. I have no clue how good their service is but they certainly do not value your time or your money so I cant imagine it is all that good. To the young scrawny guy, your manager should at some point tell you it takes months to gain a customer and seconds to lose one. It was my first trip ever to your store and it will be my last.

Worker at Pep boys told me they have towing services and after l called the 1800 number 3 hrs later no towing ever showed up . end up calling a different towing co. Who came in 15mins and towed me to a different shop to get my car fixed. Car is working fine!

The mechanics were very unprofessional. All the mechanics smoked cigarettes while working on my car and their was no other cars but mine in the bay. I came in for an oil change and they messed up the filter and oil spilled all over the engine bay and front of the car. I had to go back for them to fix their mistake. Very unprofessional wont go back to this location.

They were able to fix a problem that I have been trying to find out why for over a month else where. It took coming over to this Pep Boys to have people who knew what they were doing. Thanks people at this Pep Boys.

Great service and prices here. These guys even stayed late doing an oil change for me, I really appreciated it. I was impressed by their Keurig machine being so clean too, I decided to brew a cup without a kcup in it so clean it out and it was super clean! Wow!

Technicians seemed knowledgeable, but the price was more than I was expecting. Last time I bought a more premium product than I wanted because it was the only one available. I will probably try another place because I cant help but feel like Im not getting a good deal on repairs even though the service is professional. I wouldnt mind coming here for simple jobs like tires or an oil change.

Diagnosed and fixed problem ( bad egr valve ) in 1.5 hrs. Price was less than estimate plus I got a 10% senior discount. Seniors and military get discount Tuesday through Thursday. Office and waiting area was cold or would give 5 stars. Several customers waited outside because of it.

Just got off the phone with someone who couldnt give me an appointment, nor tell me when a good time was to come in for an oil change. They also refused to honor the price I HAD BEEN PAYING at this location for an oil change with my own oil and filter (just labor)! It was $10, which was great but apparently they can no longer do it for this price. Never had a problem with this location before they changed management, and they actually did good work. They have lost my business and will not get it back. So much for a price match guarantee, when they cant even match their own price. Completely unacceptable.

If I Could Give Negative 5 Stars, I Would Have! DO NOT HERE! THEY RUINED MY CAR! NOW ITS HEADED TO THE JUNKYARD SINCE CORPORATE WOULDNT FIX IT! OH.. AND THEY GAVE ME $221 THE 2 ESTIMATES TO ACTUALLY FIX MY CAR WAS $3,100!

My mechanic was closed friday after thanksgiving. So my dad went by to ask them how much to change the brake lines in my truck. The man said $350 because there is a special machine to bleed brakes on antilock brakes. Well if you dont know anything about cars then I could see how they will suck you in. Dont believe the hype people. I have a reputable mechanic that my family has used for years he chareged me $116 to change my brake lines out. I just had to wait until he opened after the holiday. I will never bring my vehicle to Pep-boys for ANYTHING! Honesty goes a long way. But to bold face lie to someone who has worked on cars his whole life is pretty stupid.. I highly recommend going to see Lou at rapid auto off cone rd. Merritt Island. Family run business that is fair in price & knows what hes talking about.

These Pep Boys were very good to me. As a single woman, they werein a perfect position to jerk me around. Instead, they were very honest,and in the end, didnt charge me a dime. I was very favorably impressed,and would definitely recommend them.

Thanks for the speedy service guys! While on vacation we got a flat and these guys guys got us in and on our way quickly so we could get to the beach.

They fixed all my problems, i knew something was wrong with my breaks but couldnt find out what it was, my breaks felt softer than normal, i though my breaks were due to be changed. Brought it to the boys and they dissected it beautifully found that there was a part between the lines and the and the pads was about to bust. They swapped it out and got me back on the road within an hour and a half! ^_^

Used PepBoys in Merritt Island, FLA, today (28MAY) and give 3 stars. I call @ 0720 for availability of service & tires and they have both. I arrive at 0745 and they say they have six of my F250 Super Duty tires in the computer inventory. 0800, my truck is in the air. One hour into the job to install five tires (includes spare), I overhear the staff discuss w/ea other they dont have all my tires in stock (computer was wrong; staff hadnt updated it). I wait 30min for them to inform me, but they dont so I approach the counter to ask for an ETA on my remaining tires to arrive... The guy didnt seem prepared to answer.By 1000, my tires arrive and they finish the job @ 1045. Not the worst service and theyre friendly, but a waiting customer needs kept in the loop on changes involving extended/undetermined delays. Inventory needs to be updated regularly--thats standard isnt it?

Brought my car in for muffler work and they found and repaired an engine problem, even improvised a way to fix something that wouldve cost 4x as much to replace. Of course I was unhappy with needing the extra work, but it stopped my oil leak and gave me back 7mpg so its going to pay for itself. The guys are good.

I have been a customer of this place for many years. I had reviewed them highly. I am sad to say that there is apparently new personnel (manager?) who does not share the same integrity as former personnel. After a tire rotation I was told my brakes needed new rotors and pads all the way around. I thanked them and said that I would probably take care of it myself. The manager told me that I probably couldnt do it, the rears require a special tool, and were very tricky. This is simply untrue. It required 1 screwdriver, a hammer, 1 wrench, and about 45 minutes. None of the rotors on my vehicle needed replaced. Because I actually believed them, I bought 4 unnecessary rotors. Also, the way he treated a woman who was at the counter while I waited was astonishingly condescending, patronizing and disrespectful; all in an attempt to sell her something she repeatedly said she did not want. You are of course more than welcome to go here, but you have been fairly warned. Good luck.

I had a horrible experience with the pep boys in Merritt island FL. I dropped off my car for a brake line repair at 7am and was told I would have an estimate within probably twenty minutes. after 2 hours of no call with an estimate I called them and they said they would call me back twenty minutes later I finally got that call they told me the price which I thought was very high. I told them to go ahead with the work and they said it would take 2 hours. After 3 hours with no call. I called them and they apologized and said it would be another hour. To make a long story short. It took them 11 and a half hours to fix a two foot brake line repair with constant excuses as to what took so long and was charged $276 for the repair. Im disgusted with pep boys and will never use them again.

First and last time to a Pep Boys for me. As Im asking the associate a question on a purchase, he blows me off in mid sentence to answer his phone. I guess your company is only as good as the people you hire. I walked out and will never go back.

How to replace two tires. Had a screw in the sidewall of one tire which they couldnt fix. So I wound up getting two tires instead of one tire. Because you have to have a match when buying tires cannot buy just a single Tire unless you get the same brand of tire. Which they didnt have my brand so I had to get two new ones.

They offered a $20 oil change service one weekend, during the oil change they came out and told me they were putting in type y oil instead of type x cause my car was old. I said ok. Then when I go to pay them $20, they tried to charge me $50. I ultimately had to pay $40. Never going back again.

I made an appointment for a new set of tires which I was told were in stock. They made me an appointment to have them installed. When I went to install the tires, the employee let me know that they had sold the tires. They wasted my time, wont be going back to this location.
