I came to this location today to return an item i had purchased from Amazon. I decided to pick the free return where the UPS store packs and ships for free. I printed out the code from Amazon and brought my item (a pair of shoes in the shoe box) to this location. I literally walked in, gave the employee my item and code. She scanned it and gave me my receipt. I was in and out in less than 5 minutes. It was the easy process Ive ever had returning anything. I wanted to post this because I had read reviews about the free Amazon returns being a hassle at this location right before I came here today. After my experience today, I really do believe that it is the individuals not reading the Amazon return procedures that are having the issues returning their Amazon products at this location. I want the OWNER to know that your store is doing a great job and so are your employees. I have had only great experiences since Ive been coming here (over a year now) for product repair shipments to Apple and even my Amazon return today. Thank you for everything you all do. I will definitely be using your store for my future shipments/returns!

To the manager of store 4143. Paul is the best at customer service of any ups store or regular ups shipping center i have met! I came in just before 6 p.m. Yesterday with 34 boxes to be labeled and shipped. This was urgent to our family due to our sister passing away. Paul was able to process all of my order and finish with at least 6 other customers who came in behind me. He did it all with patience and professionalism.Thanks to Paul for his help and thanks to you for being smart enough to hire and keep great employees like Paul!Todd & JoAnn

Very busy with the holidays but helpful and courteous staff. I had a minor emergency with a completely updated refinance package and they printed all 100 pages and witnessed all the signatures required. Then notarized where needed. Thank you so much Ashely!

Every time I go to this UPS store location (and mind you it’s often) I always have the best experience and today was no different. The man stayed late for me to print resumes for a last minute job interview I have, didn’t charge me and wished me luck! Great customer service!!

Customer service is terrible, doing returns here seems to be the last thing they want to do and they let you know it....**Response to UPS Owner-I understand the returns just fine, I left your store only to drive all the way to Melbourne where when I dropped the same pre-packaged box and they took it without incident, helped me print a label for it, and I was out the door in 3 minutes total. Great experience there, however at your store I was told that it wasn’t possible that I had to go home and print a label and the employee wanted to keep just telling me I obviously don’t know how to do an Amazon return, like that isn’t insulting to a customer...funny thing is I shop for everything on Amazon for the last 5 years have been doing returns without a problem until the day I walked into your store. Oh well it doesn’t matter anyways, I just won’t be back and you guys will all just laugh about that annoying customer that left a bad review 🙄

I went to this store to print a shipping label and then leave the package for shipment. For a multitude of reasons I was unable to print the label at home. The person at the store told me that yes, they can print the label for me -- for a $3.50 fee!! As someone previously stated in a review -- extortion! I passed. I went across the street (to the Office Depot -- please note this is a FedEx associated shipping location) and was able to print the label for $0.12. Yes, thats right, 12¢!!!

During a visit here in November 2020, Lisa M. went above-and-beyond to address a situation with a verbally abusive person who demonstrated serious anger management issues. She resolved the situation (easier said than done!) and also took care of our familys office-related needs. As long as this store retains employees like Lisa M., it is in great hands.

Im confused.... I looked up directions for this store because I was directed to drop off my return from Amazon free of charge to any UPS Store No Box or Label Needed. (Ive provided a screenshot of this from Amazon).Im seeing reviews about this store charging for printing labels and basically being rude to customers that are merely following instructions that Amazon has given. Im quite sure as with any business contract The UPS Store receives compensation from Amazon for providing these services. So why is the owner lying and telling customers they should read instructions? I HAVE read the instructions and Ive provided proof of the policy here... can I collect the $100 you offered the other person to prove it? LOL. I dont want to do business with any store that would speak to their customers like they have in these reviews! Guess Ill be taking a little road trip and sightseeing in order to avoid this place!See below.... The UPS Store will pack, label and ship your return for free. What a joke! I want my $100! Lol

Extortion going on here....Bought an item from Best Buy and one of the options for delivery was to have it delivered to a local UPS store. I chose this option as the most convenient. When the item arrived, I received a call from the store that there would be a $10 charge to claim my item at the store. That was if I picked it up the same day. Otherwise the charge would go up $10 per day!!!!Best Buy made no mention of this when I placed the order and when I called Best Buy they indicated this should not be the case.So, I am not paying for the pick-up fee (which today would be $30 haha). The UPS Store isnt going to return the item to Best Buy - I guess they are just gonna keep my item (theft in my opinion).

I had to drop off a number of UPS packages today at the UPS store on Merritt Island. This location is asking customers to respect social distances and allows two customers inside at a time. I get it. I appreciate that. I spoke with the folks that work at this location today, Paul & Bridgette. Great people. After seeing some of the reviews on this site, whats wrong with people? I appreciate the people that are working during this pandemic. They deserve consideration for their personal fears & concerns and should be treated respect. You think spending a couple bucks allows someone to treat people like #*it? Then leave a nasty review of one star. Really, one star? Your package was shipped...correct?This location is doing a great job. Think about this...someone waits 2 hours at the doctors office, pays them hundreds of dollars and then they smile and thank the doctor. You wait five minutes at UPS Store, give them a dollar, maybe two and act like a fool...STOP LEAVING ONE STAR REVIEWS ON YELP. It is done out of anger & stupidity so therefore it does not make a helpful review of the business.THIS LOCATION IS GREAT AND YOU SHOULD FREQUENT THEIR BUSINESS. Went to drop off Amazon return, was told by employees (basically) the label printing was not up to their standards so had to buy one of their printed labels or buy another printer and print off another label that may be acceptable (when my printer works just fine). They think your money grows on trees and expect to be served. Contacted Amazon, they never heard of this before. So now it is another trip to the UPS store, we are going to try something else to get UPS to process the Amazon return (isnt UPS under contract to process Amazon returns!), will it work, who knows, UPS likes to be served or pony up the extra bucks. Think Amazon should re-shop this contract, negative goodwill is always bad.Took the package back in, this time with something else sent by Amazon, after a few tries of your reader, it read it, you printed the label, at NO CHARGE and took the package. So which is it, first you want to charge to print a label next you print it, then told to buy a printer to print YOUR label, when the label printed after your reader finally read after several tries! Your business manners suck, just how many Amazon customers paid for you to print a label that you ended up printing anyway for free. Customer Service is something that can not be taught to you. Sadly!

Will not be returning at the advice of the Manager (Dave). I had come to the UPS store to drop off an Amazon return and ship a regular 8 x 11 envelope with a set of headphones, I was told it was 19 dollars and some change. I asked the girl at the counter why it was so much for ground shipping (I packaged it myself) and was told $2 was additional insurance and the rest was just shipping. When I stated that was very expensive for something less than a pound, Dave rudely stated I could go to the post office! Well thanks Dave I will! I also found Dave incredibly rude for being on the phone with customers standing directly in front of him waiting for service. Dave did also make sure to call out that I have a good day with a sarcastic tone! Dave your customer service skills need work and I would fire you if I were an owner of this business. People do read these reviews and go where service is a businesses top priority. UPS

Finally an employee that makes this location look good. I went to get 4 packages shipped to another state the other day and a young lady named Ziar ( I think that’s how you spell it) was awesome. She explained each step of the process and made sure I understood each cost. I was very surprised to hear from her co worker that she was new. In my eyes she needs to be the face of this store. This young lady made me excited to spend 80.00 on one box and shipping. I will definitely be returning for awhile I hated coming to this location because I felt like the employees were rude or didn’t want to be there. These people at this location refuse to accept responsibility for their actions. Just look at all the one star reviews and pay attention to the responses that this ups gives. Most of the responses they try to flip it on the customer or find some sort of excuse. Unacceptable behavior for a business. Just take the review, apologize, and find a way to make things better. All business will get unfair reviews at times but its your responsibility to be the bigger person and take it. Seeing these responses scares me to even try to go to this store again. Its like the equivalent of a restaurant owner berating its diners because they didnt like the taste of the food. Sure, maybe the food was delicious to you but you sure wont be getting customers back with an attitude like that.

I did not realize my wife gave me a paper for the post office not ups so I went to ups where I always go. David behind the counter Quickly stated it was a post office label so I would have to buy tape for the label because he would not make any money off of me. I thought he was joking hahaha. He was not. little did he know UPS USE TO BE MY ONLY CHOICE!!! I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN!!! I ALSO WILL RAISE MY DAUGHTER TO NEVER USE THEM!!!I bought the tape and left it and asked David to please give it freely to anyone without tape that walks in. Thank you ups for showing me how little you care about someone who has used you for all of my shipping! So long I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT IN ANY OF YOUR STORES AGAIN!!!

Could not be happier with my recent experience at this store. I went in to send an important package using UPS. The gentleman was immediately ready to help me with it and to determine the best way to send it with insurance and guarantee and receipt signature required. He saw that the package needed additional stuffing to prevent it moving around in transit. He asked me to watch as he added the additional packing, resealed the package and applied the mailing label. Excellent service and concern for me and my package. 5 star service all the way. Thank you!

If I could put 0 stars I would. A couple of months ago, we took a package to this store to mail. It got lost. One would expect the basic requirement for UPS is to send a simple package. They lost the package. So, zero stars from us. Dont bother writing Were sorry, were here for our customers.... You cant mail a simple package.

My last three visits to the UPS store I was treated very very rudely by a female employee who I believe is new . Im. The two gentlemen that I usually do business with there have always been very helpful and very courteous but this girl is extremely rude with a chip on her shoulder and will not even answer a simple question without having an attitude. On December 12, 2018, I gave this property $425 to ship seven boxes of heavy / fragile items to New York. Some of the items in two of the boxes shattered. I didn’t even want a refund for the boxes; just a discount. I even did the math for them: $46.49, which I thought was reasonable since I paid $400.In NY, I did discard the items before an inspector came (I did not realize UPS would go that far), but I took pictures of the boxes and the damaged items. The pictures were not good enough. Then the store manager, David, told me that the claims department never received the photos. I had to call this store and the claims department multiple times for follow-ups, then emailed the manager once a week after that.On February 19 (over two months since the initial transaction), David emailed me the claim was “denied due to insufficient packaging … the pictures that were sent were not enough to prove that the package was damaged during transit,” implying that I broke the items … just so I could scam $46 out of them. However, some family members shipped an unrelated item from the same store, this time letting the store package it, but when that item arrived damaged, UPS would not take responsibility for that “insufficient packaging” either.In the beginning, when in the store, one of the girls behind the counter lost her grip on someone else’s large box and it slammed on the table. She dismissed it with an “oops.” When I see things like that, plus their distrust in / lack of care for one customer who only wanted $46.49 out of $400, it made me reconsider using UPS in the future. Very poorly handled situation.

I went to this store a couple of weeks ago to mail a letter I wanted to have tracked all the way to its destination. The clerk was very helpful. He explained that he was unable to help me, said that the post office was my best bet, and then told me where the closest post office was. I also had two packages to mail and he advised the most economical way to send each. I will go back.

Worst experience ever. Staff rude including the manager. They were uncooperative and unhelpful. They dont even deserve one star. If this happens to be a corporate store I would really highly suggest that the home office do something about it. The package I delivered was from the store that I work at. I had other packages I needed to ship out from my own business. After having to deal with that I think Ill keep on going to FedEx for my shipping needs.

The lady at the counter was a witch, very snotty attitude, told me I had the wrong zip codes for out of country mailings when the truth was she didnt know how to do it. I have the addresses saved in the computer and just have to print the labels out for my Christmas cards every year and they make it there. Now I have to go to the Post office where they know what they are doing.

A 2nd customer walks in, and she still kept counting her register, until We said are you going to make her wait too?. She then says angrily, what. What is it anyway?, to which she finds out its just a mere drop off! She then prints out the receipt, and tosses it at My wife! To which My wife responded by calling here a nasty C***. All of this, because she wanted to close the store early, and not do her job. I called the corporate office, and asked if there was any policy mandating closing early, to which they immediately responded Definitely not! Oh no, this is not a normal thing. The girl on the phone sound even more horrified than we were, that this happened. So my advice to management is to let go of this complacent Karla. It is very clear that she is running the business as if it is her own, choosing her own hours, and BOLDLY closing the store down with customers still in the building.... a whole 50min before you actually close for the day! She doesnt want to be at work, shed much rather be at home, and if you run your store tapes back, youll see everything I just told you. I doubt anything will be done at the store level, as you are the same management team that hired her. But if by some strange chance you guys are not like her, and actually want to make your customers happy, then I highly advise removing her from your team, because shes making you look bad. Like who starts closing a store with customer still in it, letting the closing procedures take priority over the consumer!? Like WOW. Unreal.

I see most of the reviews are old, so I thought I would give an update. About a year ago or so there was an ownership change, and I think there were some challenges customer service wise. However, I renewed my box here only because of the current crew that is working. They are professional, polite, and always say hi even if they cant see who is at the door. If you leave a package for the post office (not their company), they will still ask you if you have the tracking number or suggest taking a picture of your package. They really act like they care about keeping customers, so if youre reading a 4 year old review, give them a try again. Their service is top notch compared to others Ive tried. Recommended!

This place is horrible. I went there to use the notary service and overnight a few letters. Both of the guys behind the counter were barking orders at everyone in the store including my wife and I, dont touch the envelopes. I could keep going but my time is more important. The rudeness and arrogance of these clerks was enough to make us leave. Ill never go back. Lies about the postal service to keep us in there... I am amazed these two idiots are still employed there. Find an alternative means......

The cashiers here were both HORRENDOUS. Neither had on name tags so all I can say to ensure they get some type of training is that one was an African-American female the other a bearded caucasian white Male. They could not have cared less about customer service and ADMITTED that!! They were obnoxious as if getting paid to assist customers was not literally their job. The work ethic made me tremble in a time when jobs are hard to come by. I know at least a dozen people who would bend over backward for the job they were filling. All I can say is I will NEVER use UPS again and will demand that anything I order go through USPS or FedEx and that these two gems find the work that will bring them joy because they are very clearly and audibly miserable in their jobs at UPS. I took pictures and video because I do not trust that they would handle mt return package carefully or correctly. I also wanted to document their total lack of respect and horrible customer service. I will never step foot in that place again.

The workers at the Merritt Island UPS Store are very vulgar. I had come in to ship a package and didnt remember the zip code. When I asked David would he be able to look it up for me, he told me NO, and to go home and figure it out. I had reassured him that it wasnt a big problem and that I had another package, he grunted and asked if I had all of the information for this package and I did. After I completed my transaction i felt unwanted in the store and rushed. I will NOT be coming back there EVER.

Avoid this place. I have been here twice and both times encountered rude ladies running the counter. The second (and last) time I went, I was dropping off UPS packages that were all set to mail. I asked for a receipt to confirm they received it. The condescending employee said, You have a tracking number dont you??. I have dropped of packages from 5-10 UPS stores in the past and they ALWAYS give me a receipt just to confirm they actually took my shipment. Trust me, this place is not worth the rudeness and poor service.
