So their full day workshop which costs $50 is a full on, eight-hour sales pitch with Ted Thomas repeating himself dozens of times about how great he is, how much experience he has (OVER 30 YEARS FOLKS!!!), how long the tax lien business has been around (OVER 200 YEARS FOLKS!!!!), and how much money you can make with his help.I only lasted four hours out of seven when not one shred of information was given other than a snow job meant to get you to purchase his actual education program which is valued at $3000 or wait $5000 or wait $5997. Pure, gross, con-artist, sales pitch the entire time.They have lost my trust in every way possible. I feel sad for the folks who actually paid to get talked at for seven solid hours with no actual information forthcoming. I asked for my money back and got it. Thats why I gave them one star instead of zero stars.

Ted did an excellent job explaining how to buy tax deeds at the auction and then sell with a Land Contract to maximize your profit & to create monthly residual income for years to come. This 3-day online seminar was entertaining, but of little use to me personally. It was primarily directed at people with “deep pockets”. Ted says you don’t need much money to do this, but he also says we need a coach. However, the cheapest program mentioned required over $10,000 USD plus extra money to do deals. Ted’s idea of “not much money” is a lot different than mine.Also, I live in Canada and want to start small by buying tax liens without leaving home. I bought Ted’s course years ago and attended 3 live seminars, hoping to learn how. But all I ever heard was that I have to spend a lot more money to join a program. I have no more than $1000 to start with. My questions were dismissed. Eventually I gave up. I listened to this most recent seminar because I hoped to learn about recent developments in doing this stuff online from home. But it was only a lot of testimonials with no real information about how to do it. It would be nice to hear a seminar on how to get started without being told to spend a bunch of money to join a program.

I enjoyed Teds information on contract for deeds. I hadnt thought about selling properties this way, but it makes sense. Im glad the seminar was done remotely. It was nice to not have the travel expense. The support team did a really good job with very few glitches. I appreciate that Ted emphasized content and cut off the repetitive introductions and the cat pictures. However, I really feel like there should be a rule that any examples and case studies cant be older than three years. One, it would keep the content fresher as most of the examples are in other trainings and weve heard them before. Two, it would better demonstrate that great deals are still possible for new students. Examples from 5+ years ago arent as relevant. Would also like to see a more emphasis on the how not just the results. How did the decide on the properties, how did they do the research, how did they determine the value, how did they do the paperwork for land contracts, how did they title a property bought in an IRA, etc. And although I expected an upsell, I didnt expect there to be so much of it.

I attended Ted Thomas 3 day seminar on July 27-29 in Orlando. The training session was very informative about tax lien certificates and tax default deeds. The guest speakers were people who had experience in purchasing certificates and/or deeds to property in various states. Some showed documented examples in which they successfully purchased these tax related assets and were able to make a considerable profit. Other speakers presented techniques and methods for researching property on line thru info available at the courthouse, the treasurers office, and other government files and websites. There were lots of examples and Q & A sessions to make it easy to learn how to buy certificates or property either by visiting the property or by accessing all of the required info on line. The training was very valuable and I would recommend it to anyone who has an interest in this subject and is willing to apply the strategies that Ted teaches.

I just finished three information packed days in beautiful Cape Canaveral, Florida where I got to see a space launch as a bonus. Prior to two months ago, I had never heard of tax liens and tax deeds. Ted Thomas group was very cordial and energetic. His program is very well organized and easy to follow. Loads of information was fed during the three day workshop.
