The employees were pleasant during the rental process and full of information when questions arose. The pontoon boat we took out ran without issue and was quite comfortable. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great day on the water!

Cape Crossing Boat Rental is amazing! We rented the 10 person pontoon boat and wow, the staff was extremely helpful and professional. The boat was clean, and in excellent condition. We would never buy a boat when we can just rent for an amazing price! 10/10 recommend for an beautiful day in the Merritt Island/Cocoa Beach area!

I called to ask some questions and received a call back within a couple of hours. I was able to book a half day pontoon rental for the very next day. The marina was easy to find via GPSThe price was about $100 less than local competitors for 1/2 day ($229 + tax and $10 prop insurance was around $260 total.)We arrived early and someone was already there waiting on us. They gave us a map and answered all of our questions. We signed paperwork and we’re on our way. It was all very easy.The boat was older but in good working condition. It was just a 50 hp motor (which was fine/plenty because we mostly wanted to move slow and look for Wildlife.)The boat included a GPS with depth finder and we were able to connect and play music from our IPhones.During our trip an oil light came on and we called to inquire about it. We received a call back immediately were assured it just meant that it was time for an oil change and there was nothing to be alarmed about. It did not in anyway negatively impact the operation of the boat or our experience and I was impressed with the prompt response and concern.Four hours was about as much as we could take in the sun and during that time we saw several Manatee and about 20 dolphin (some of which came within feet of our boat)!❤️🥰🐬There was a half Bimini/canopy (crucial as we had my aging mom with us and didn’t want her to overheat). We were able to bring our own cooler and items onto the boat with no problems. Gas was included in cost of trip and tank was full. Lifejackets were on board and easy to access. Not sure if they offer kids sizes so check on that if needed.We didn’t have pets with us but for just $10 you can even bring your pets along (remember to keep them cool!)There were a ton of jellyfish in the water so I would recommend checking that visually before going in for a dip.We were advised that we would be able to return back to the marina from almost anywhere within the allowable boating zone in about 30 minutes time. This was not accurate it took us over an hour to get back so as a result we returned the boat over 15 minutes late. They did not complain or charge us extra which was very kind.Location in the water was perfect for exploring Banana river, Indian river and Sykes creek.I would highly recommend this company!AND PLEASE ALL TOURISTS/BOATERS OBSERVE NO WAKE ZONES TO PROTECT MANATEE AND BE RESPECTFUL OF SMALLER VESSELS LIKE KAYAKS.

We went out with Captain Michael on the pontoon boat at Cape Crossing and had a wonderful time! The boat is very nice and comfortable for enjoying the water, viewing the scenery and having on-board snacks and beverages! Michael is very friendly and knowledgeable about the water, fish and wildlife in the area. And we loved his boat and marina dog Tag!

I just couldnt imagine that here on Merritt Island, we would be able to have as much fun as we did on the pontoon boat. We really enjoyed the trip because we were a group of 3 ladies that had no experience of driving a pontoon boat. We also didnt know the area and Cape Crossing team offered us a guide for a small fee which made the experience so much more exciting and enjoyable. We saw manatees, dolphins and the guide showed us how to throw pebbles in the water to see the luminescence effect in the evening as we were coming back to dock. He also showed us places that we could swim with easy access off the boat. We spent the night in the new condos that have a waterfront view. It was just amazing to sit out on the balcony and have fun during our stay in Florida. I would highly recommend them.

Our family rented a pontoon for a half day and we’re so glad we did. The captain made sure we were well equipped and knew how to use the boat. The pontoon was nice, clean and it perfect working order. Also equipped with GPS and a radio that we could connect via Bluetooth to listen to our own playlists. We saw dolphins, alligator, stingrays and lots of various birds. So cool!

I am extremely happy with the experience and costumer service that was provided. The boats were extremely clean and you can tell that they were also well maintained. We ended up renting the boat for a full day without any issues.The representatives were extremely knowledgeable when it came to any questions regarding how to operate the boat. Even if this is your first time driving a boat, I’m sure they would provide you with enough information become a pro.Lastly, the marina/resort was really nice! There is some minimal construction going on but nothing that would cause an inconvenience. I would highly recommend anyone who is visiting this area or even local to try out Cape Crossing boat rentals!

Highly recommend! We rented a pontoon boat for the afternoon. Boat was clean and seats were VERY comfortable!When going down to board our 10yr old dog- who is afraid of the water- fell off the dock. The nice young man who was getting us situated went above and beyond and jumped in to save the dog. Can’t thank him enough!Would recommend and rent from them again!!

My family and I had an absolute blast after we rented a pontoon boat at Cape Crossing Boat Rentals! Check in was fast and easy and when we pulled up to where the boat was, there was a young man waiting on us so he could help us load our coolers, I felt like i was getting on a yacht with the level of care and customer service! The boat was clean and in great shape and my kids had plenty of room to spread out. My parents were very comfortable and enjoyed the ride. A day on the water is a day in paradise so we absolutely loved exploring both the Indian River and Banana River since we chose the Full Day rental. As we were coming back to Cape Crossing Boat Rentals to return the boat, we called the young man ahead of time and let him know we were arriving and just like clock work he was waiting for us once again and helped us onload! This is an awful experience. The marina is a disaster. I live local and this is under construction and looks like a 3rd world country and no organization at all.Craig Cat rental is a joke and has basically a trolling motor. I will and would never go again nor recommend this. No one to even check me in, tied boat up and left with telling hotel check in I left. To the owners and management,!I would never place my boat here l. You look run down and your new!!!

Very enjoyable experience!

It started raining while out so we came back. I called ahead, as advised to do, so that someone could dock us. No one showed up. Thankfully a group of young men docked before us and waited. They helped us dock. When I told the staff thankfully they were there and that no one came do dock us as they said they would, they were dismissive and inconsiderate. The lady said that they cant send anyone out in the rain to dock us. Both men were sitting there in the lobby and didnt even look up from their phones to acknowledge me. I had two young children on the boat with me, 3 & 5. I stated that if those guys didnt help me I would have been sitting in the channel waiting. They said that there is rope and that I could dock myself. Which, would have been impossible for me to to without help. I will never rent from them again. The customer service was horrible. Yes, florida weather. Maybe i should have known better to go out on a summer afternoon. But if youre running a business and one of the things included is docking your patrons, then I dont care what the weather is, send someone to help.

Great staff and location. The canopy on the pontoon boat only covered half of it, would have been perfect if there had been an option for that as the heat and sun can be too much sometimes. Would absolutely recommend!

Heres my FB post on seasons in the sun family page.We had a great day on the water yesterday! If you are looking for a rental try Cape Crossing. Price was less than others and included gas on our pontoon rental. I will say the boat shows wear and tear but were mechanically sound and included a great Garmin chart plotter for guidance. Located on the barge canal in Cocoa, we saw many dolphin continously to the banana river. There are also side creeks you can explore or kayak.

Person renting ahead of me had their boat shut off in the channel. My boat broke down mid day, had to swim it to shore. Poor equipment, look elsewhere.

I have been renting boats, kayaks and paddle boards from this marina for the past two years and I truly am satisfied as I always have a great time, the staff is knowledgeable and responsive to my needs and the value exceeds my expectations- try them first before going to the competition you won’t be disappointed-
