Had kitchen done, flooring put down as well as carpet. Happy with kitchen design and the quality of floor and carpet. Installation was a little disappointing. Had to call them back a few times to take care of some overlooked details, there are still a few things like cabinet door. It aligned right and some. Caulking that wasnt done. There are a couple areas on floor where flooring doesnt sit flat. They werent going to paint the new baseboards had to ask them to do that. Wasnt blown away by the experience for what it cost.

We highly recommend using J&J! Noelle Garrison is an extremely talented designer and now thanks to her we have the kitchen of our dreams!! She worked with our schedule and made sure all the details were thought out and accounted for. She has incredible ideas and we were blown away by her work. We absolutely loved her so we decided to use J&J for our flooring needs as well. Brad is amazing and has been with us through the process of having our carpets and main flooring areas replaced. The quality, price and personality of the team can’t be beat.

EDITED: I contacted Trish after starting with a not-so-great first impression of J&J and she turned it around BIG time! Not only did she address my concerns, but met me with a beautiful attitude and rescheduled us right then and there. Ashley, our designer, came and looked our space within that week and was just as equally awesome. I really appreciated this turn around and am so excited to start this process with J&J. Best advice I would give is to go into the showroom and meet them. Thank you so much again!

J&J Carpet recently was the prime contractor on remodeling our master bathroom and kitchen. We are thrilled with the results--easy to give them 5 stars. Id give them 6 stars if I could. Dawn Johns was the decorator/designer and project manager (assisted by Ashley). Dawns husband, Jake Johns was the head craftsman. Jake did much of the detailed carpentry and finish work and he accepts nothing but perfection from himself. (Anything he missed, which was rare, Dawn spotted and had it fixed). Both the master bath and the kitchen were total re-dos in a 1975 house and everything was updated (cabinets, appliances, fixtures, plumbing, electrical, floors, walls, windows, doors, all molding--everything. Dawn orchestrated a set of skilled plumbers, electricians, sheet rock people, tile and carpet installers etc. We liked J&Js work so much we expanded it to include remodeling the living room bar, the utility room and installed new 5 panel doors throughout house, new baseboards and crown mold through much of the house and a few other things. We will soon get them started on remodeling our front porch. Dawn has years of experience at this--projects big and small, and knows what she is doing. She and Ashley have access to a wealth of materials and solutions. Hey this wasnt cheap or quick but we think the price was fair considering the spectacular results and projects like this do take some time to get right.

We got great, personal service from Rob, our designer. The turn around time for the cabinets we ordered was good too, to help us finish this project in a reasonable schedule.

A no show owner that doesn’t stand behind a lifetime warranty. Very rude store manager. Jeff is never there and when he is he doesn’t return calls. The store manager won’t get involved. ( I’d like to have his gravy job). Meanwhile I have wet moldy floors. Morgan and Morgan here I come

Best place for floors

We have beautiful carpet again and couldnt be happier. A water pipe burst causing us to replace our whole downstairs carpet. Brad was knowledgeable, professional, and provided us promptly with a thorough estimate. Chris, Brian and Blake were our awesome installing team. Hardworking and friendly, the they went extra mile to do the job well. It was a pleasure having them in our home.

Highly recommend. We needed a quick installation before company arrived and Brad made it happen. Adam was a pro installer and our flooring looks great. Would use again. Go local!

This is a hard place to review. The carpet side was excellent. The bath side is basically a general contractor. The subs they used on my project ran the gambit from excellent to barely acceptable. As a general they were awful and slow.

J & J installed new flooring in my kitchen, dining room, family room, bath room and bedroom. The experience was very positive and professional throughout the whole process. The installers, Chris and his team were efficient and excellent. I couldnt be more happy. And the cost was less than local competitors for the same product. Thank you J & J

J&J performed a complete renovation of our bathroom, and the work so impressed us that we hired them for the replacement of over 850 sq ft of wood flooring in our living / family room. Quality of work is outstanding. Jeff performed all work on price and close to on schedule. They were very patient with the planning process and offered considerable help - to include bringing out a plumber at their expense to accurately scope and price the job. I recommend them for bath / kitchen remodeling and any wood floor job.

Stopped in the store over 3 weeks ago. We were completely ignored by the saleswoman on the floor but she was more than happy to help the gentleman that came in 5 minutes after us. Picked out the carpet and was told we would be called for a measurement appointment. Over 3 weeks later still no call. I would never recommend this company. They are rude and I will be more than happy to get my carpet and hardwoods for my entire house elsewhere.

Good floor store

I have tried to do business with J&J twice. The first time I visited their showroom I was ignored while others who came in later were waited on. I left after waiting fifteen minutes. The second time I visited their showroom I spoke with a salesman who told me the person I needed to speak with was out sick. I gave him my phone number and was promised a call back. No one ever called. I dont think you should have to beg someone to take your money. I wont be back.

Very happy with my bathroom, Brittany really saw my design aesthetic, space needs and followed through to the completion. A joy to work with and the other players whom I have had the pleasure to work with these many years.

No one ever came out to greet or talk to us. We were the only customers in the place. And the door has a doorbell so they mustve heard that. Spending our money elsewhere.

*WARNING DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING!* I would like to start by saying how utterly disappointed I am in the work that you have done at my moms house!First and foremost the drywall. I had a feeling of where this job was going when the drywall work was being done. I have never seen so many large gaps, holes, and humps. The only drywall they didn’t remove that should’ve been removed was covered in black mold and they didn’t do anything but put a cabinet in front of it! I know I checked! The ceiling repairs that they did were so horribly done that there are large lumps and humps . Then they used a different finish paint on it so now it flashes semi gloss against the rest of the flat ceiling and is very disturbingly ugly! (See pics) The ceiling cannot be fixed by painting. it needs a skimcoat new texture and paint!!!They left holes in so many places! too many to count. Holes left on walls are a fire hazard!!!!It is very obvious that the person that did the drywall at my moms house had no idea what they were doing. They didn’t even do the drywall to code. they dropped it all the way to the concrete. Drywall is supposed to be left a half an inch off of a cement floor to prevent moisture from wicking up into the drywall! So like I said they don’t know what they were doing and they didn’t do it to code. There-is no supervisor to check off the work. It’s all subcontractors that want to get in and get out with no integrity whatsoever! The person in charge of her job Ashley, never went there and never returned our phone calls or texts. She was horrible to deal with. The House was left unlocked with windows open all the time. I would go check on the house and I had to turn the air back up from them leaving it on 72°. Every time I went. My mom had a very large power bill from them! And windows were always open and doors were left unlocked all the time!!! Like I said no supervisor on this job. Ashley never checked on it! J&J flooring is responsible for the subcontractors that they hire to do the work don’t let anyone fool you! The Cream of the crop is when I got up on a ladder and looked on top of my moms cabinets and saw that the person doing the grout work on her wall tile decided to use her brand new cabinets to scrape their knife off. Unbelievable (see pictures) never to be cleaned up! They left it that way! This is taking advantage of older people! The patchwork that they did around the areas they pulled out was never finished. Lumpy humpy and lacking any texture.It’s the worst work I’ve ever seen in my life! So let’s move onto the floors. They NEVER cleaned the floors they installed! They were covered in drywall dust and debris, maybe had a half hearted sweep.i had to clean them. The baseboards! Oh my God I have never in my life seen such hideous work! They did not nail them off at all! Which left a quarter inch gap where the caulk sunk down at the top edge. They put a texture paint with a roller that is unwipeable. And when you do try to wipe it since they did not prime it all of the paint comes off that they put down. The whole half inch top of the ledge is full of dirty caulk with clumps and NEVER painted! Seams are not caulked at all. these baseboards need to be ripped out and completely redone! Unacceptable! These baseboards look 50 years old! I have never seen anything like this in my life! Total wood butchers!!! I honestly could go on more and more but if you read this whole review then you know not to have them do any work at your house! It has been a nightmare! I personally believe they owe my mom all her money back! I will also add that they went two months past their finish date and still aren’t finished! They had an empty house to work in and my mom had a move date. They said they would be finished two months before her move date. That did not happen. My mom had to move into an unfinished project and still to this day is not finished! Shame on you J&J for treating good paying customers like this! See pics on my FB review

Couldnt be more happy with our master bathroom remodel! The designer was open to our input and ultimately we got exactly what we were looking for! Looking forward to the shopping at J&J for our future flooring remodel that we are planning!
