My wife and I just had our wedding there on 9/18/2021. If there is anyone you want to work with, it’s Jaime Keller. We were one of her first clients and she crushed it. She was very attentive and provided great feedback and ideas for certain looks. She never intruded on anything and always guided us to options. She was extremely helpful for our band and DJ. She also took great notes. Our experience with Avalon was amazing. Food was incredible. Not sure if caterers changed but it was never THAT delicious. We were shocked how good it was. Hopefully all future weddings have the same experience. Thanks Avalon and Jaime Keller!Side note, there was a rude server to the groom’s family table. Wedding was 9/18/2021 and it was the server on table 2. Please tell her not to be so rude. I understand she may have had a bad day but don’t take it on other guests.

This place is fantastic, what a gem, the food unbelievably good Im telling you I was shocked I clean my plate not one crumb left. The place is picturesque beautiful I shot an outside wedding there they had the chairs set up for wedding under a gazebo, a nice walkway from reception area down to where the wedding ceremony was. the staff incredible and helpful I wanna give a shout out to Ana for her excellent service as well as the rest of the staff. The front has a fountain great for taking photos if I had 1 complaint they have a beautiful fountain in the back of the place they should invest in cleaning out the pond no one will take pictures in front of bad looking pond filled with all kinds of green stuff. if they clean out the pond this place is definitely 5 star but for now though I will give it 4 out of 5 stars with a 5th star depending on what is important to you. Now that I think about it we are dealing with a pandemic so business may not be as busy as normal season so I will hold off my complaint until next season. Then I will take a look and see if they have cleaned out the pond because business has picked up which means more revenue for odds and ends. 5 out 5 stars for now

Beautiful I liked the view from the banquet room we were in. There was a patio overlooking a lake. Elegant ballroom floor and the food was good I went here for a wedding. The service is good polite and helpful. I would recommend it

I think this place for a wedding was awesome. Really pretty and its bigger on the inside than it looks. However the bathrooms were a mess- paper towels and water everywhere. There should also be a closer bathroom at the opposite end. We were in the fountain room and we had to walk all the way around to the front. Dinner was great and the ambiance was great.

The staff at Avalon was great at the recent Geminus party..they kept bringing ice cream out for the kids after the party was over...Thanks Avalon

Well organized multiple rooms for 3 separated events. All 3 can be opened into a big event of up to 500 guests. Great place to have a reception/fundraiser/gala. When all rooms are opened, the room is gigantic! The management is super easy to work with and the dinners are perfectly prepared.Ray – The Connexion Band

5 stars because we had a lovely event last week for our daughters wedding and reception. Everything including the staff and meal were excellent.

I can’t say enough about how great Avalon is! I was a bride dealing with covid restrictions in Illinois. We had already changed our date from April to September and with the restrictions in Illinois still in effect we decided to look in Indiana. The Avalon had our date open and was so accommodating! They followed all the proper procedures during this pandemic. Nicki was the one who I spoke with during my planning. She knew how stressed I was with dealing with our old venue and now planning at a new venue. But she made the process so easy! Everyone said how delicious the food was and how nice the staff was! Our wedding day was perfect and I am so happy we decided to have our ceremony and reception here!

Just held my daughters wedding last weekend at Avalon. We had a really great experience. Jovanka was great at communicating with us throughout the process and was patient in answering all of our questions. Even though things kept changing due to Covid she was helpful in keeping us up to date on what would be allowed. The ballroom was set up really nicely. The staff that served dinner was very friendly. It was great being able to take all our pictures out on the grounds which were very pretty. People raved about the food both in taste and quantity. I would recommend looking at Avalon if you are considering a wedding/reception in the area.

The Daddy Daughter Dance event was great! Food quality was good and service was excellent all around! From start to finish it was well organized and ran very smooth! The two issues I had were: First, no lemonade or juice drink option for the kids? It was water, pop, or tea! 👎 Second, the DJ later in the event was terrible on the microphone! Otherwise, great evening with the girls!!

Wouldnt provide doorstops to cut down on touched surfaced during covid because of the air. Few handicapped accessible areas; no ramps to the gazebo area for example. Bleh

The Avalon has enough room for as many people as you need. The meeting of Realtors was a packed room and well-organized. And we all had coffee!

My husband and I had so much fun at The event that was held there. It was fabulous! What really impressed me was that the organization we were with accidentally Miss ordered our food. They had to order ordered us vegetarian dishes and we Needed vegan dishes. What I thought was awesome is that the lady came out and she immediately rectified the situation she understood that it was important for us to have vegan food and they were able to whip up to dishes very quickly for us that met our dietary needs. They really went above and beyond.

Went for my cousins wedding, very nice place. The food was great, the pot roast was INCREDIBLE, as was the bartender and wait staff.

I got married here a little over a year ago and while it was a pleasant experience there was a lot left to be desired and I honestly wish I would have went with a different venue.That said, Ill start with what I liked about it. The food was good. The hall itself is very fancy which is what sold me on it, but the devil is in the details as they say. I had my ceremony on site, at the east gazebo, and it ended up being a bit crowded cause of how small the area is. Many of the chairs end up being behind the sitting area and along the walkway outside the hall. The guests sitting here didnt get much of a view and awkwardly featured in many photos that they shouldnt have as the wedding party had to walk past them, but props to the photographer, he did an amazing job with what he had.Also since it is a multi-party venue there was another wedding taking place. This led to strangers in the background of photos as well as the bass from their music being loud enough to carry into our hall during dinner when it was quiet, which I found to be quite annoying.As the night wore on, many of the guests complained about a popular mixed drink not doing the job. Thankfully the other drinks they chose didnt have that problem, but it should have been a problem in the first place. Also, it eventually became very hot and humid inside the hall with many guests getting quite sweaty.They also dont let you keep any leftovers, which I especially wanted from my nacho bar... so be aware that youre paying for food you wont be able to leave with.

We had our barn wedding catered by Avalon Manor in Hebron. Food and drinks was one of the most important things to us and they certainly delivered! The buffet food was delicious with many options for all and stayed warm after setup. Everything was delivered on time and the bartenders did a great job. Everyone was happy! Highly recommend!

Standard banquet food...chicken with some kind of red sauce, string beans, spaghetti w/no sauce. Really not good for my test. But the salad, bread, coffee, and peppermint ice cream was good. Nice venue! Staff was really attentive and friendly.

Was there a couple of yrs ago, for a on-site control group research study/survey. Was a nice place but, didnt get a chance to really look around. Thou I have heard its a wonderful place to throw wedding/HS or college graduation receptions, meetings, etc... Just not sure of their prices

Staff was very good saved it. The food was mediocre mashed potatoes more like soup. Didnt even try the rabbit food broccoli raw. Sorry millennials think its cool I like my food cooked. Chicken was okay. Bread was real good thats what I ate bread and butter. I realize they had four weddings going and its a hard task.

Very nice place to hold gatherings and celebrations. Food is top shelf, and the service is better than the food. This banquet hall is quite eloquent, the building is beautiful.

We had our wedding reception here for about 150 people a few weeks ago and it was amazing. Our coordinator and several other members of the staff were more than willing to meet with us this past year to be sure everything was perfect. They went above and beyond to make sure all of our decorations were set up before we arrived. The food was amazing and they had us come in for a tasting before the big day to make sure we got what we wanted. I cannot say enough great things about Avalon and their team. We will be back in the fall for my brothers wedding!

I was the maid of honor in a wedding at Avalon. The decorations were gorgeous, the staff were friendly, the venue was beautiful and clean and spacious, and the food & drinks were good.I have 1 major complaint, which is why I gave only 3 stars instead of 4 or 5. My complaint: The waitstaff cleared the tables WAY too fast. Examples are below:(1) I had to take the bride to the bathroom during dinner, maybe 10-15 minutes after they had served us our food, and by the time we got back, ALL of our food was gone. I barely got to eat anything! The bride didnt either! It was very disappointing. They should have waited longer and they should have asked if it was okay to clear the food. Ive been to multiple weddings and Ive also been a waitress at a wedding banquet venue for years, so I know what good service looks like. This was not it.(2) The waitstaff cleared off all of our drinks - including 2 full bottles of champagne, 1 full beer, and multiple full glasses of water - while my friends and I went on the dance floor for one song. As a waiter/waitress, you need to use your common sense. Guests are free to leave their tables as they wish, but that doesnt mean they are finished. Furthermore, it is pretty obvious that 2 full bottles of champagne and a full beer means that the guests are not done drinking.Other than this major complaint, I had a positive experience.I hope, in the future, the waitstaff here are educated on proper table-clearing etiquette as that will make the guests experience much better.

I attend many affairs here. The food, parking and safety are great. Atmosphere nice intimate quiet.Large enough for the midsize to large events. Has smaller venue spaces upstairs also. Nice for business venues. Hotels, restaurants and mall on strip.

The Avalon Manor is a beautiful place to hold your events. The staff are very personable and they work with you on every detail to make your event perfect. The food is good and the wait staff are very attentive to your needs. I highly recommend the venue.

Weve been coming to Avalon for our retirement planning dinner for several years, and the food just keeps getting better and better! They have several large rooms available to rent, so there is no problem when lots of events are taking place. Their parking lot is huge, so Ive never had problems finding a spot. Their staff is friendly and efficient, too.

Food, service and cleanliness made for a delightful wedding and reception. We came in from out of town and the location was easy to find. There was plenty of parking. You will notice that I gave 5 stars, because that is the best!

The food was okay. Nothing to write home about. The wait staff was a little rude. Three tables were set up for overflow, with five tables being used. I felt like a sardine because there was not enough elbow room. Ten people to a table was pushing it. Some were told to move to another table so the overflow tables would not be used. Too crowded for comfort!

I came to Avalon Manor Banquet center for a family members wedding. After arriving in the parking lot I seen a nice set up outdoors with flowers and chairs. After going in I realized it was split off into different sections so more than one event can go one at the same time. A first I was like dang we are going to be parting with the people next to use but the way everything is set up I did not see anyone from the other party all night. This place seems to be set up and ran so that your party of people stays together and does not ever intrude on the other partys. I side the venue was very nice the tables and chairs where nice and in good condition the lighting was good. And we even had a bar set up In our room. We also had a nice back drop outside for pictures. All and all we had no complaints I would recommend this venue to family and friends. Also has a nice big parking lot for all your guest.

Music from party in the other side was so loud it was drowning out our music. Also the server we had was very rude. Came and took food off table while we were still eating. When we told her we were still eating she ignored us and continued to walk away. Ask for more bread and a meat dish and that seemed to bother her. While we were eating she just hovered over table taking stuff and on one occasion knocked a drink over, it got on the persons phone and clothes. Several people from 2 other tables came and asked us about her and said how rude she was. Also a person from the party next to us was up were our party had got dressed and all their personal belongings were at and she was changing clothes in there this was a location for our bridal party not for public use Food was ok. Was disappointed.

We had our wedding reception at Avalon and it couldn’t have been a better experience. The Avalon staff are professional and respectful. They are flexible and willing to work with you to make your day beautiful and special. The food is amazing as well. I highly recommend the venue for weddings and other event.

I am very disappointed in this venue, my daughter-in-law had her bridal shower there last weekend. The the venue was very nice right down to the water feature in the pond. The staff was professional and the food was good however when it was time to pack up our things the staff told my daughter-in-law that she couldnt take the leftover food. She actually paid for 75 guest but only 50 people attended. Which means there was ample food left. I feel that she should have been able to take the leftover food or get a refund. When asked what they were going to do with the leftover food, she was told that the food would be divided amongst the staff which I think is very unfair. I advised my daughter in law to contact a lawyer to see what her legal rights are regarding this matter.

Attended a nephews wedding at the Avalon. All I can say is Wow! Fantastic venue, setup and meal!

Nice building. With the exception of two staff members, hateful people. The food was pretty good but cold. The owner was a good indication of why the staff was so hateful. Very unprofessional and rude person.

The event I attended was fun. The food was terrible. Spongy turkey, or maybe it was chicken, not good. I couldnt tell you what the other items on my plate were it was that forgettable.

Went here for an event. Soup was delicious! Portion was a little small, not offered more soup but was given more bread... the chicken sandwich with gouda was soooooo dry. Everyone away my table removed the chicken from the sandwich in effort to be able to feel full. No sauce. Nothing was offered.

Been coming here for various business and social events for years, and years, and YEARS. And, Avalon has been *the* *exact* *same* down to the worn carpets, dingy walls, and just generally 90’s look. In the 90’s, I would’ve given this place 4-5 stars, but hey that’s 20+ years ago. Time for a new coat of paint, new carpets, or ...something.

Great events here. Be sure to order the Perch if you are hosting an event here. All the food is great but the fish is exceptional. Very good service at these events as well!

They had a GREAT mothers day brunch. Great food. Only thing that they dont tell you is there are NO REFILLS on pop. You pay for each pop you get and they are NOT very big glasses.

I attend meetings here and am truly impressed by their food. The lake perch is what I really go there for and I just cant eat enough of it. I recommend Avalon Manor with gusto.

Took my family of 20 to the Mothers Day Brunch. It was incredible. All of the food was fresh and prepared very well. Smoked Salmon was out of this world. Cocktail Shrimp was big! Ham and Prime rib very tasty. Everyone in the family loved it. Waitress Nicole extremely pleasant and quick. Unlike resturants this venue is more unique... They are nit pushing you out the door to get the next tabe seated. Years ago we used to go to Strongbow Inn for Mothers Day and Avalon exceeded them by a lot!

This is our closet fav when it comes to banquet venues. If youre doing a family style dinner, the beef is a must! We absolutely love working at Avalon.
