They took my money for a po box and then cancelled it on me because my mail never got delivered to the po box then i cant even open it. Dont waste money here. Lazy workers.

We receive computer info called Informed Delivery which shows what to expect in the days delivery. It shows mail for EVERY DAY, but weve not had a delivery for Friday, Saturday, Monday. Flagged a passing mail truck to inquire: Driver said Were very short on help... So why no alternate routes? This is VERY unsatisfactory service.

I had an awful experience at the Merrick post office this afternoon. The person who assisted me was texting while she was speaking with me. When I inquired about sending an envelope with a return receipt she pointed to a counter w forms. After I completed my portion the address was incorrectly typed into her screen 3x. When I asked if someone could come over to assist another employee yelled over that she was the lead clerk. I took the envelope and left after about 10 minutes of issues. In addition, why are mail trucks parked in designated handicapped spaces? This is entirely disgraceful.

Never and ever go to the African-american lady on saturday morning shift. If you have met her, you know what im talking about. It was a horrible experience, she barely looked at you. When I nicely ask her question, her face is like i own her million dollars. Its just rulling my morning mood, so rude!!!!

Clerk 15 was a rude employee at this specific USPS in Merrick, Ny. I felt unwelcome and the employee had no type of charisma and friendliness. So rude!

Theres a reason usps going bankruptcy, I hates how government agency works, Very unprofessional, very slow service, we got 10 customer waiting on the lines, there only 1 on window working, the others just stay in the back chatting and talks on the phone

Service is always super slow, employees are not nice. They don’t have a parking lot. The other day I got there a minute before it closed and the guy was already locking the door and told me I can’t bring my package in even tho I had a prepaid label. Even tho UPS and Fedex have higher prices, I recommend them. Don’t go here.

I’ve always had a somewhat fair experience at this post office despite the slowness and incompetence of the front clerks. That aside, I was very disappointed after dropping something off today. The two workers at the front were NOT WEARING MASKS. This made me very uncomfortable and it is unacceptable.

Mail delivery at 7pm and often missing things that are supposed to be delivered.Prescription drugs seem to be the hott item.One would think after 8yrs they would fix the 7pm deliveryIssues.

Had a parcel pick up spoke to the local branch they will pick it up no problem.

Friendly service. Its an older style post office. They have a parking lot on the side of the building.Handicap accessibility is fair. They have a handicap elevator inside to access the P.O. boxes and for the service section

Helpful and convenient. I have a box there and not having to chase down delivery trucks is a relief. The employees are nice and helpful.

If there was a spot for zero stars i would use that. The goons behind the counter dont care about your problems, they dont even fake it.When they go in the back to help you, they joke with their buddies come back and smile at you while lying to your face. This place is a Disgrace. F this post office. The Only good thing about this place is my Mail Carrier.

Can I give a negative star? The service was APPAULING today 11/7 between 1:15 and 1:30. There was a line of customers and the three employees behind the counter were all busying themselves with tasks without any regard for us. No eye contact....no signs of preparing to help us whatsoever! They did however kept looking at each other to see who was going to serve us, but no one did. UNBELIEVABLE!!!

Merrick public library is beautiful and the people theyre also very very helpful.

If I can give this place 0 stars I would I have a in home company where I do my shipping my self on time I went on my lunch break from my other full time job to ship my packages I walked in to a line of 15 people waiting no one at the counter we were told she was out to lunch and no one will be at the counter till she comes back that is unexceptable find workers to cover lunch staff today I walked in to a line of 8 people 9:30 am only one lady working the counter I had to walk out because I was now late 10 mins to work because I was already waiting 15 min to ship my packages now I have to go back again on my lunch break and sit online once again for horrible services the ladies never smile like does it hurt to smile and say hello they also need more then one person at the counter the poor lady had to deal and hear complaint after complaint asking if anyone else can jump on the counter its not her fault and this location needs to be better staffed

Parking at this location is scarce and its on the street. There is a parking lot but you can only park there during midday hours while the post office trucks are out making deliveries. This post office is on Merrick road which has heavy traffic. There is no automated post service inside if you like that self serve option from the USPS. If you need that, head east on Merrick Road to the Bellmore post office: 2611 Merrick Rd, Bellmore, NY 11710
