Why did Valvoline stop most great things Einsteins did. They dont check fluid levels anymore or condition of fluid. Einsteins had a paper with all the fluid samples from the car to visually see if they needed replaced and if they were low they would top them off. They also took away the monitors that allow you to see the tech under the car. The Staff are still great and nice to work with but I really miss these options as now it just an oil change and recommended service by mileage. I want to see all my fluid colors and levels. To sum it up the Staff is still great its just unfortunate that Valvoline bought out Einsteins and dropped good service practice.

Service today was great after a small backup due to labor shortage.

Machine did not exchange the correct amount of fluid in my transmission causing it to overheat and causing thousands of dollars in damage as my transmission had to be replaced. This company refuses responsibility for how their machinery operates. As a single mother with only 1 income this has caused me severe financial strain. Coming from a major corporation the lack of responsibility is astounding. If you can spare thousands in repairs keep taking your vehicle to these guys. Otherwise go to another company. Even if you get charged more it will be wiser and cost you less.

Waited twenty mins to hear they ran out of my oil type. Staff were friendly enough but lot of people standing around watching the work on one active bay. Too bad someone didnt try to be proactive with customers waiting in line. Felt like it was an attempt to upsell me a mote for expensive oil.

Very sad that Valvoline bought this group. Not the same experience NOT EVEN CLOSE!! And I think they raised prices. So less work and more money. But the staff was very polite as always but must be a new crew as they asked the manager how to do everything. But a sign as you pull in says valvoline trains the team prior to coming on floor.... not sure it seems like a train as you go program.. Ricardo though definitely gets 5 stars..Another local Idaho company taken over by big corporate knuckle heads...

These guys broke my dipstick when attempting to check the oil. Then offered to replace but that was over 2 weeks ago and I havent heard anything.They did give me $20 off because the appointment took 2 hours while they tried to figure out the dipstick.Well it has been 5 weeks since the original visit. I received 1 email and 1 call from corporate that said they would get one ordered. I have never received anything and had no further communication. BTW it took me 2 days to get a factory replacement dipstick on my own. Very poor Customer Service.

OMGOSH! Best service Ive had ever. All mechanics were so thorough, friendly, professional, and honest. It was so refreshing.

The people who work here are excellent, and their service is impeccable. They not only do a great job, but go the extra mile. I have gotten my oil changed here multiple times and have repeatedly been impressed by their service. You wouldn’t think an oil change service could impress you, but this one impressed me. Keep up the great work!

The level of service has gone down since the turnover to valvoline from Einstein. Einstein has class. You were provided a menu of things offered while you wait, drinks, newspapers, tablets, etc. You got your windshield washed before even entering the bay. Once in, they looked at all your fluids and filters and wipers to include your air filter. Showed you them to let you make a decision on whether to change them. All of that is gone now. I went in had my oil changed and left. Thats all they gave me. No customer service or quality. I had to even open my hood for them because they couldnt. They didnt check my transmission fluid because they said it was a manual. I wont be back.

The guys were great. Very friendly and the energy was very positive. In addition to oil change I also needed a new light for my car and even though they didnt have it they let me come back with a special bulb (they got old one out and gave to me)that they said I needed and they still put it in for me. I will be coming back for future services for my car. Thanks again

Fast, friendly efficient.

I go to the shop to get a standard oil change. 1 day later my “check engine light” comes on. My car also will accelerate funny. I take it back to the shop and spoke to Landon “nice guy” but said everything looks good and should be fix in a day. Still same issue I take it to Chevy to have them check it out and $189 later needed to fix my air filter “wasn’t probably on” and “ had to replace a part”. Couple days later take it back to the shop and talk to Landon again. He said doesn’t know why i had to pay and they did nothing near the air filter. I’m not a mechanic but every time you get an oil change, they check the air filter?? Am I wrong?? Well Landon said the manger would call me the next day and never did!! So my “$68 oil change” turned into $250!!!! Sorry NOT GOING BACK!!!

Warning** Do not go to this location for an oil change! They forgot - yes, FORGOT - to put oil in my car. $3000 worth of damage and now theyll only cover $1000 of it. After the manager said they would take care of it! They havent even refunded the oil change! Horrible business practices!

Beyond excellent service!!! In all my years. I have never had such excellent service in relation to my car. Cruz, Josh and Jayco were very professional, knowledgeable and very kind...and did a great job. I highly recommend.

I expected this to be like Jiffy Lube but was pleasantly surprised. They are super friendly, give you a newspaper and a beverage (even got my son some cooled down hot cocoa) and they talk you through everything they are doing. They show you the oil dip stick at the end to ensure oil is in the car when you leave. In and out in 20 minutes. Wasnt pushy about adding extras like some places are.

The guys over here are AWESOME! CRUZ helped me out and was so sweet and knowledgeable but honestly everyone there is great. Super fast too 😊

Ive gone to Jiffy Lube for years. this was my first ever visit to Einstein. The staffs was super nice, personable and caring. Aaron and the rest of the staff are amazing. I will definitely be going my back for my next oil change

Went there to get oil change n fix light bulb n left with a broken tail light and low on my oil NEVER going there again!

They were fast, knowledgeable and polite. I had a tail light out but my hatch was stuck . They went out of their way to get it open so they could fix my light. Excellent customer service!!

Came in from out of town and noticed low oil life. Went to Einsteins and had the pleasure of working with Kyler and Aaron who provided excellent customer service. The entire team was fast, friendly and personable. I would highly recommend.

It was actually entertaining being there. A little pricey but the fact the the service is done while your in your car, news papers, tv shows to watch, video feed of the service being done to the car from below and above, and the speed they provide such a service at makes the little extra worth it. I pulled in and out in less then 25 mins for an oil change that other pkaces take almost an hour doing. If your on a time crunch I highly recomend this brand of service in your area if there are any.

My daughter bought a used car and took it there for an oil change and the next morning the engine started acting weird. She took it back to them and they helped her figure out what was wrong and told her how to fix it. The problem wasnt caused by them but they took the time to help her! Thanks for your help!!!
