I was very pleased with my experience at Meridian Automotive. When my 08 Scion died on the road I was prepared for it to be a whole ordeal.The speed of the team was great - the very next morning after I dropped the key they had a diagnosis for me with options to choose from and after only a very short wait on parts I was back on the road. I was treated very fairly without a lot of unnecessary jargon being thrown around.Everyone I spoke to from the tech on the phone to the receptionist were friendly with a good attitude.I will recommend Meridian Automotive to all my contacts moving forward, thank you!

Good work but extremely high labor costs. One of the things I had them do while vehicle was up on the lift was to change the fuel filter, a less than 10 min job. They charged me over 80 dollars for the service. I was really shocked at the cost. These folks just lost a good customer.

Called over the phone to get a break job quote for my front breaks. The price ended up changing and when I questioned it I got rude responses with take it or leave it attitude. On top of that it seemed like they were more focused on trying to upsell getting the back ones done too. I didnt like the energy so I denied giving them my business and they eneded up charging me a $40 inspection fee when most places do free inspections. Surprised they are rated 4.7 stars after that experience. Definitely dont recommend it.

The team at Meridian Auto are great. They are great communicators, NICK and Mike were always available with excellent follow up. I brought my 31 year old RV in because it was losing power and stalling on hills. Turned out to be the fuel pumps, which arent cheap, but their diagnosis was right on. What a difference when I took it out after. Much more power. Additionally I had a wish list item, the dashboard AC didnt work. They took a look, changed some fittings and established it was holding a vacuum. They charged it with the new coolant, and for a few hundred dollars I was back in business. Very excited to have air conditioning. I am hoping to not spend anymore on the RV this season, but I will take it to Meridian Auto should I need anything else.

Don’t let the small building fool you. This is a full service shop with top tier mechanics working there. I was really pleased with the level of professionalism.

I called around to get a quote on a repair. Meridian Automotive was the only one that asked follow up questions and really tried to understand the issue. they then presented options with quotes. After I took in my car they sent me pictures and a detailed summary of what they were seeing. When we got the work done the cost was even slightly less than the quote. I was impressed with every step of the process and will bring my cars here again whenever they need work done.

This is the 2nd shop Ive tried outside of the dealer for my VW TDI. They are professional and you can tell they run a solid shop. However prices were extremely high, like a bit more expensive than the dealer. They also noted all sorts of problems with my car on their inspection to the point that they deemed my car unsafe to drive. They wanted $120 at that point just to take a look for a reported front suspension clunk....I let them do the oil change and nothing else. After getting my car back, I immediately took it to the dealer for a 2nd opinion. Almost all issues on inspection were found to be inaccurately diagnosed or blown out of proportion.... for example, the front suspension clunk was simply the brake pads.....In the end, I dont doubt for a second that they would have gotten my car fixed properly, it just would have taken more time and money. Will stick to the dealer in the future

Great experience! Took my 66 Mustang in for a complete new drive train (engine, 5-speed transmission and rear end) and Meridian Auto exceeded my expectations on their work. They were able to track down a 289 engine block from same make and year as my 66 classic. Did great job on restoring my car. I very much appreciated Meridian Automotives approach to diagnosing and fixing several items on my truck that had failed emissions testing. I took my truck to them for a second opinion as another local mechanic told me it needed a new turbo installed...not the case at all. Meridian Automotive saved me a lot of money. They started with the smallest and cheapest fixes first and as things came up they were very communicative and helpful for what needed to be fixed now and what could wait until later.

My husband and I had a great experience here. Mike went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure our 1988 Chevy Silverado Pickup was fixed and running properly. We have gone to Meridian Automotive on multiple occasions for this truck..it’s old! Every single visit was pleasant and I felt as though Mike really cared about my family and the truck. No matter how long it took, or how hard it was Mike and his techs made sure the truck was running like new. They even covered a rental for us during one of the visits! Had my car looked at by another repair shop, but they couldnt figure out what was wrong with the car, so after spending $850 and them saying they could try replacing some other parts for another 800, but no guarantee that would fix it, I felt like I was getting nowhere, I knew I needed to take my car to a reputable repair shop, I ended up calling Meridian Automotive to come pick up my stranded car and to please figure out the root problem. Nick and the Crew were able to tow the car to the shop and let me know what was wrong with the vehicle in just a few hours. Best of all the cost of the repair was a fraction of what the other guys wanted. My Acura runs flawlessly now, thanks to Meridian Automotive.

We have been customers of Meridian Auto since moving to the area in 2012. They have always been accommodating, competent and very professional. Recently our drivers window regulator broke on a Sunday night. First thing Monday morning we were at the shop. We had family coming in that night, and really needed the car with a working window to pick them up. Meridian Auto was able to fit us in, get the part required and have our vehicle ready before closing that evening. Great shop! Awesome staff! Highly recommend!

We have. BMW and always for serviced at BMW.... but always seemed to still have the same reoccurring problem. Brought it to Meridian Automotive and they fixed it the same day at beyond the fraction of cost. Were a military family and this will definitely be our go to place for our vehicles during our stay here in Idaho.

I will keep this short. I own a Honda Civic with over 180k miles. A spark plug hole had been stripped in the past and repaired by another local auto repair company.(company #1). The repair was a standard insert to provide the needed threads for the spark plug to thread onto. Two years later the spark plug blew out of the hole and caused a dent in the hood and a tow bill. I then went to a different local repair shop (company #2) and explained that the hole had been repaired in the past with an insert and inquired if it could be repaired by them. The counter guy was not sure if a insert was manufactured for a second repair after an insert had been used prior. He said I might need to replace the whole engine head. I then contacted Meridian Automotive. I spoke to the counter guy by phone. I explained the prior repair. He advised that he was very confident that they could repair the damaged plug hole even though it had been repaired before. I dropped the vehicle off. I was called at 10 o’clock in the morning with an estimate and had my car back by 3 o’clock in the afternoon. The repair was done. No new engine head required. I am very happy Meridian auto knew what they were talking about. Upon internet researching I discovered that there is indeed an insert manufactured for a second repair on a spark plug hole. A fact the guy at company #2 should have known. I am very happy with the repair results.

I took my car to Meridian Automotive after a recommendation from a friend and reading the reviews on Google and Yelp. I called ahead and spoke with Jesse and Jason. They were both very professional, provided accurate information and were able to get me in right away. I had a good idea of the work needed on the car and the pricing and quotes for labor were right on par with what I expected. Jason answered all my questions and was very upfront about all the work and recommendations. They provided a shuttle to my home and best of all the work was complete an entire day and half early. I will definitely be taking my business to them in the future.

Ive found my local repair shop! Being new to the area and in a new-to-me vehicle, I was nervous about where to bring it when I needed repairs. I called several dealerships and repair shops for quotes and read hundreds of reviews for different shops. When I called Meridian Automotive, I was surprised not to be rushed off the phone with a quick, off the cuff number, but instead I was asked for more information about my cars symptoms. The excellent customer service, even before a sale, as well as the number of reviews here and the high rating helped me choose Meridian Automotive. As soon as I brought my vehicle in, Mike helped me navigate the complication of an after market warranty insurance, took the time and care to inspect and check for any additional problems at my request and made sure the job was done well. Meridian Automotive didnt beat all of the other quoted prices, but Mike was willing to give me quotes on the value parts and the best quality parts, so that I could make the choice on my own terms. Also, mostly due to the warranty companys need to come out an inspect the work and diagnostics, it took more time that I would have liked, but I also know that patience can be the key when you are looking for quality. I will be coming back to Meridian Automotive with all of my repair needs and maintenance needs as well. The best part is that Misty offered to give me a courtesy call to remind me of my oil changes so that I wont forget them (again). Truly excellent customer service and quality people. I appreciate the service I get with these guys. Ive been coming here for more than 20 years and they do most of the work (if not all) on my vehicles. Ive never had a bad outcome. Have they been perfect? No. But they try to be. I work in Medicine, we arent perfect either, but we try to be. Thats all I can expect is that they try to do their best each time they work on my car/truck. Im pretty much a fanatic when it comes to my vehicles and expect they dont let me down, ever.
