I have had auto insurance and homeowners insurance with Geico for a little over a year I believe. When I was looking to change insurance companies at that time I was delighted to find Geico because they saved me a LOT of money over what I was paying via the Swan Insurance agency in Nampa - and it was better coverage for both my home and my automobiles.In fact when I got signed up with GEICO at their offices on Eagle Rd near Meridian I told the wonderful young woman I had been dealing with that I am so glad that I called you folks. They quite literally saved me HUNDREDS of dollars over what I had been paying (and again better coverage).

Q was very helpful in trying to resolve a matter i was having that was also very time sensitive. She was sweet and understanding as well as accountable for making sure the problem was in fact resolved before she hung up with me

Sales team amazing here in Meridian location and extremely helpful and Q Mamaldonado was extremely professional and I cant say enough... compared to previous support online has been non responsive and extremely difficult and slow. With this representing help I was able to connect with online services and resolve these issues.

I would give zero stars if I could. I was in an accident in 2019 and had full coverage. Well apparently full coverage doesnt include medical, so now I have a medical bill in collections for over 11 thousand dollars, and Geico says its not their problem. I will never use Geico again, and I would just recommend making sure you know what youre paying for, because they will scam you into thinking youre protected, then screw you over.

I inquired about marine insurance through Boats US, which is a subsidiary of Geico and apparently the Meridian office of Geico. The insurance was too high, and we found a much better rate elsewhere. However we continued to be called, excessively by their office. The first message from Andrea said she was calling to following up on my inquiry. She said if I was interested in more information or had questions to call her back. I wasnt interested so didnt plan to call back. 10 minutes later she called and left another message. I tried to call back to politely say I wasnt interested and got tangled up in a messy phone tree only to sit on hold for several minutes, without actually reaching a human. The next day, Andrea called again. The following day, another call and yet another call 10 minutes after that. Because I couldnt get through to their office to tell them to stop calling, I finally had to block the number. Seriously, is this how a local insurance company conducts business? Very unprofessional in my opinion. Their sales reps should be trained on proper etiquette when following up on leads. Call, call again a few days later, then STOP CALLING. Theres no need to call back every 10 minutes. This is how you lose potential customers!

For an awesome insurance they are claiming to be, they don’t explain everything. I got into my first car accident a couple of months ago and they never mentioned anything about an accident forgiveness. They went over “everything” with me but not that. UPDATE: Justin called and even though they couldnt take off the additional charge completely, he helped adjust it a bit lower by updating more information on there. Giving 4 stars now because I appreciate them reaching out and explaining what happened (which he said was rare and was a mistake made by their corporate office), and providing concrete and effective solutions in a very professional and courteous manner.Talked to a representative on the phone and verified the cars VIN number multiple times. He gave me a quote and then proceeded to help my process my payment on the phone. Five minutes after I get off I check the payment details in the Geico app and see theyve increased my 6-month payment by over $30. Called them immediately and they said the VIN number was incorrect, so the new price was adjusted after the VIN was corrected. The VIN the representative used to do my quote was COMPLETELY different from what I told him. Very unprofessional to put in a completely wrong VIN just to get a lower quote and have the client pay on the phone, then adjust it seconds after and bump up the price by so much. Felt like I got scammed.

My Husband and I had a great experience with Geico. Q was so helpful and found us an auto rate that we could afford even with me out of work. It all only took about 30 minutes thanks too Q, and I am sure we will be looking into a renters insurance policy in the future.

Overpriced. Not reliable. CS Reps dont follow directions. Needed a tire change. Tow comp. Didnt change tire towed my SUV instead. Still needed a tire change. Another incident. Requested a tow to the tire shop. Rep sent a person with a truck smaller than my SUV claiming I needed a jump start. Dealing with Geico is a nightmare.

I would have very much like to talk to an agent but I have made so many phone calls and waiting for 45 minutes to an hour and then I get hung up Ive actually never had the opportunity to speak to this agent but Ive had Geico since 2012 and I had a wreck 3 months ago totaled out and I have yet to receive the money for my claim they paid the bank about 6 weeks ago but they never have sent me money I have called and left messages after message after message no one gets back with me I have four cars insurance through them they are impossible to get a hold of I had a rental car and they didnt call me to let me know when the time was up for me to turn it in so now my husband and I have $1,100 worth of bills to pay the rental man because we were renting two cars at the same time I have nothing good to say about Geico

My daughter was rearened by a Geico policy holder a few weeks ago. We have not been able to get the auto adjuster to call us back. His VM is full so we cant leave a message. Ive emailed him 5 times in the last week, no response. His manager also hasnt returned our calls. The rental car was due back after only 5 days, we havent been sent the money to replace her car that was totalled. Even the rental car company said they cant get a response. So we are out the car, the money and the title to the car was already sent to them. Today I called the generic 800 number and that person could only refer me back to the adjuster who has been assigned to our claim... the one who we cant get ahold of. Not very happy with their service.

When of their insurance crashed into tree and broke window in the house, they have not done anything with the claim for over 2 months. They have not taken care of the problem, they say it must have fell through the gaps and they take care of it now. After 3 times of this I no longer believe them.

My new agent Marquita Maldonado is so friendly and helpful. She really showed she had my best interest at heart as she worked to get me the best coverage for the best deal. She spent several minutes playing with figures while explaining her reasoning, asking for my opinions, and also using her conscience to make sure I was well covered but for the lowest cost possible.
