I went here about a year ago and filled out application then after waiting a long time sat with recruiter. I told her the kind of work I was looking for. I got good vibe from her and thought she would find me a decent job. After two two weeks or so I contacted her to check in and believe it or not she didnt remember me and couldnt even find my paperwork. She took my info and said I will call you back. About a week after that she called me back just two reiterate everything we spoke about. Didnt hear from her so left it at that for months. Finally I decided to call again and guess what. Cant find my paperwork again. They asked me for my name and phone number and that they would call me back. Well its been two weeks now and I decided not to deal with them anymore. The way I see it guys is that if you cant find people work or you believe it gonna be difficult let us know from the beginning. I would have a little more respect for your agency if that was the case. I decided to go to other agencies out of town that will attend their applicants the way they should. Go here at your own risk. Youve been warned.

If you need a job worth your time and with good pay, go to Leslie Calderon. She is honest and straight forward and lets you know in detail what the job is about. She will literally go out of her way to help you get a job. Always communicating with you, posting you about potential positions. She has helped in the past with decent jobs on three occasions. Im currently working full time at one of the jobs she got for me. Leslie gets it done.

Person who is my Recruiter keeps Dodging me every time I call . I just want a job lol

Had to keep nagging. Gave up. Took a temp job they said was permanent. Promises of a permanent full time job. Worked two days. Went back the third and the job said we called the staffing place to tell them we didnt need any more temps....Didnt bother calling me to tell me this so I drove 30 min there and 30 min back. Anyone would be upset. Didnt apologize. Didnt reimburse for gas/time I wasted. Didnt care because it didnt affect them bc I did a good job they said this happens sometimes and we were told you did a good job but this happens sometimes, sometimes they dont need the temps.... but was promised they would keep an eye out and havent heard back in a month.Thanks for making me waste my time and money and shattering my hopes.

I interviewed woth a job coordinator there named Philip. He touched bases with me ONE time about a potential job and that was all the way back in March! I was the one who had to keep reaching out to him, when its his job to keep me on the loop about potential jobs. I have used a different job agency in the past that was on top of their stuff when it comes to their clients and Hamilton Connections doesnt know what theyre doing nor do they know how to prioritize. I ended up finding TWO JOBS on my own without their help! So people you are better off doing the job hunting yourself because youll be doing that anyway with this place. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!!!!!

Ive applied at a couple branches and although I didnt find work through all of them, they take the time to meet with you and discuss your skills and work history. I find it funny when people complain about the agency not finding them a job - finding a job is your responsibility. You need to present and market yourself professionally! I saw people in the lobby in sweatpants and flip-flops! I at least wore collared shirt and khakis when I applied. I imagine applying here is like anywhere else - they may hire you, or they may hire someone else youre competing against. Hamilton Connections of Hamden placed me into a pretty good company and all the other branches took the time to at least discuss my work experience and what I was looking for.

Second part of my review- The manager at Hamilton called me after all what happened with me. He was very nice with me and took care of what his employee did. The manager apologized and listened my side of the story wich was very professional of him. After, I went to their office and April like always was very nice and took care of my situation. She said she found a job for me and was going to submit my resume to his manager so I can go back to work. Hopefully I get that call no later than tomorrow cause I really want to work plus I have a family to take care of.First part of my review- Tbh! April Soto was a really nice person with me and found me a job not what I was looking for but a job is a job! On the other hand this guy named Shawn called me last week offering me a first shift job starting at 7am and I told him that I couldnt enter at 7am due to my kids, that I can start at 7:30am the most early. He left me without a job because he said that I said that I couldnt keep the second shift when I never said that. I said I was going to keep doing the second shift while they can find me the right job. Now I have no job again and today I went to his office and he told the front desk lady that he couldnt see me that I needed to go the next day and talk to April Soto. This is unbelievable. He replaced me without having the right job for me. I think he should of called me before he did what he did...Thanks Shawn for leaving me with no job!That was really nice of you...Smh!

It has been a great experience working with the Hamilton connections they provide a service for you and make sure your never out of a job and there helpful loving ppl.

I been driving( CDL)class A with Hamilton connection for a year been driving for only two companies during my time .I recommended Class A or B CDL holder to Hamilton connection.

As of January 7, 2015 it appears that this issue has been taken care of by John at the Hamilton Connections, Meriden CT location. I appreciate his assistance in helping me with the issues that arose with the Department of Labor & DSS. I sincerely hope that in the future they are able to be more diligent in paying attention to what information they are reporting to whom. Apart from this unfortunate situation, I have absolutely no problems with Hamilton Connections as a company. For job seekers - best of luck out there. Perhaps Hamilton Connections will be able to place you in a fantastic job.(((((I went in for an INTERVIEW a few weeks ago. They had me fill out all the formal paperwork that youd fill out if youd been HIRED for a job including tax filing forms. They even took my 2 forms of identification to have on record!!! I never got the job that I interviewed for, but apparently Hamilton Connections STILL submitted my information to the Department Of Labor claiming that I have worked & earned wages working for this company!I am a single mother, unemployed, and have been collecting unemployment benefits for a couple of months. Today I received a letter from the DOL stating that I may be prosecuted for FRAUD because they believe I have been working & collecting benefits!I strongly suggest that if you go to Hamilton Connections for an interview, DO NOT fill out anything other than a typical job application! I learned my lesson..........now I have to deal with the DOL & hopefully get this straightened out so I dont lose my unemployment benefits!!!)))))

There name should be Futility Connections because they dont help people find jobs at all and they dont return your phone callls. Its worse than dealing with the Department of Labor. Lets face it, if they found jobs for people they wouldnt be in business, so its in their interest to keep people unemployed, and thats just the way it is.

While some of the upper management may not be very approachable, the local staff for the most part are knowledgeable and have the genuine want to help people find jobs.

They had me filling out all the paperwork and then I sat there for 20 minutes and then the lady tells me that she wont take my DL because it was expired by a couple weeks and they never said valid DL just two forms of Id if they would have told me I would have never went there for nothing!!!!!
