The woman (dental hygienist) who cleans my teeth is the best. I would recommend her to anyone who needs a good cleaning. Very nice lady, also.

I have been coming to family Dental since I was a teen and when I started a family and moved out of town 40 mins away, I remained loyal and traveled to this location.. and we’ll 13+ years later and now 7 missed appointments due to me having to quarantine after having to leave state due a sudden family death, I couldn’t make the appointment and therefore leaving myself and three children to have to find a new dental office that we can trust…. My point is over 13 years and in that 13 years I missed now 7 appointments and I got dropped like it was nothing.Being a single mother of 3 and out of town I really think that’s impressive but it was so heartless. I am not happy about the decision the office assistant made or the office entirely I think it was more than unethical and such a traumatic decision making especially if my kids did not miss any appointments and it wasn’t a problem for the office to let them go as well.

I went and got a cleaning, 2 extractions and 2 fillings done. My wife also went and had a cleaning and 2 fillings done. My 3 year old daughter had a cleaning done for the first time and it went great. My 6 year old who has autism had a cleaning done and a couple of fillings. They were great with my kids! Love this dentist!!!

The dental hygienist is awesome every time we go there! My only issue is the dentist always seemed to leave early where we have to come back for a quick exam it is very inconsiderate of him to just go knowing the clients need to see him as well.

Worst dentist DEFINITELY do not bring your children here not a kid friendly facility and the waiting area is not big enough to accommodate social distancing, waiting room didn’t even have hand sanitizer 🤢 and they are handing out used pens and used clipboards. It will be good to see them go when the rest of the mall goes.

They are the BEST!! The Hygienist really took her time to make me comfortable and relieve my anxiety! My teeth look so white and beautiful. The dentist was professional and nice. Gave facts without a lecture that makes you feel bad. Had so many bad dental experiences in the past but will definitely be going back to Meriden Family Dental!!

Awesome place. My dentist today was funny and made going to the dentist enjoyable. I had to get a filling but he kept me entertained which kept my mind off the procedure. The whole staff was great!

Absolutely awesome! Professional and completely confident in any future dental work from them. They were so helpful in my time of need, it was an emergency situation that was handled without hesitation or attitude. I was greeted with my background information and pleasant staff. I usually am terrified and absolutely hate the dentist and I was put at ease. I’m so grateful and I would recommend anyone.

These people are all GREAT I had the same Dentist since I was a child and his replacement when he retired was awful. I ended up having to lose a few molars and all the Dentists that I had were amazing. Very concerned with you not feeling pain and fixing the problem quick! I wish I went to them sooner! All of the employees are nice and there to make your visit as pleasant as possible.

My daughter and I have had only great experiences at Meriden Family Dental. We have been going here for at least two years. The front desk staff is warm and friendly and it is easy to get an appointment that works around my schedule. Every dental hygienist we have had has been thorough in their cleaning and educated in their knowledge. They have made my daughter very comfortable. She loves going to the dentist! The dentist is also scrupulous in his examinations. I highly recommend Meriden Family Dental, five stars!

My whole family goes to Meriden Family Dental.I found it via Insurance company’s search engine and I am sooo glad!!!!A lot of the doctors are bilingual (Korean and English) and it’s so helpful for Korean speaking folks like me. It just makes the experience more comforting and at ease when conversing in your preferred language.The doctors are very friendly and very thorough. Receptionists are friendly and will try to make your experience a breeze.We drive from Waterbury to this location and will do it again for years to come. By far the worse customer service I have experienced! The so called office manager was incompetent, rude and very unprofessional! I was asked to leave because I told her she had a bad attitude! She did! Useless customer service and waiting room was extremely dirty. I can only imagine what dental offices look like. She is not a good representative and should be fired. I was happy to leave after being treated so rudely. Happy to go somewhere else where they are helpful, friendly and know what they are doing. Not fake. Scary to have people that do not know how to treat patients work the front desk. Bad for business.

The worst Dental ever I see, all Dr. there are Practicing every time I go I see different doctor. They play with my tooth and they break it they make me take the tooth out, 😢 I lost my tooth because their mystic. Also every time I go I have to wait more then half Hour to talk me to the cheer!! And they make me wait again instead too!!! I used to go for a cleaning only, and then suddenly something happened to my tooth that have to be done, then I find out they can’t done it because they are not professional. Be aware don’t wait until lose your tooth as me. Now I have to spend a lot of money to put another tooth.

Excellent new management! I have a lot of anxiety related to past dentist experiences. The staff was very friendly & the DR made me feel very comfortable. He was knowledgeable, gentle & informative throughout the multiple procedures I have now had there. I will definitely continue to use this office!

I absolutely love this dentist office! The Dr is patient, understanding, caring and gentle when it came to the actual work itself. I never felt judged because of my dental anxiety and/or dental issues I had. I also never experienced negative effects from the dental care that was provided to me. I highly recommend this office for children or adults. I take my children here, and my mother is also a patient there now herself! They accept state insurance as well, which is helpful.

I was there on 5/31/18. The staff there were great!! My dentist was funny and did such an amazing job, I felt zero pain or discomfort at all times. They were also very honest and transparent!!

Today was my 4th visit to Meriden Family dental and my 2nd time with Dr. Ho. Each visit has been a great experience . The staff is courteous and helpful. I have really bad dental anxiety and had to have dental surgery done. Dr. Ho calmed my nerves by explaining each procedure and making me feel relaxed and comfortable. Its also nice to get text reminders of appointments! I would definitely recommend Meriden Family Dental.

Last Monday I had such a great experience at M.F.D, when I went in for an exam and x-rays. The receptionist and the hygienist were very friendly and it was nice to walk in and be greeted with a smile.. I was pretty nervous, but Dr Ho was great and by far the coolest dentist I have been to. He wasnt in a rush and made me feel at ease from the start. He found a cavity and is going to fix it next week. I will do another review after the filling is done.. They have a rating over 4 and they deserve it.. I read every review before I made the appointment and the few negative reviews they have seem very unwarranted and the bad experiences seem to be the results of the customers own doing.. If you have a fear of going to the dentist, come here.. While Im sure that all the dentists here are also great, Dr Ho Is who saw me and would be Great for a child that is afraid of going to the dentist.

Do not see Dr. Ha. I had my second appointment with him for 2 fillings, the filling material is all over the other teeth, he hit a tooth that was fine with the drill and there is a vertical scratch now. The assistant asked if hed use sealant and he said nah, I asked what she meant after and he lied and said it was a tool... Im in tears. The first time he did 2 pulls and was very agressive my jaw kept shooting down as he dug. The wound from his digging 2 months later is still very deep on one. Healed up but it is a literal hole where gum was removed aswell as tooth. Was this all because I have state insurance? It could be. Please dont make the same mistake I did, the permanent damage is not worth it. Go to a Dentist with compassion and skill.

I am highly annoyed with this office the dentist does not let patients know exact steps needed for procedure to be complete.... then when something goes wrong they want to dismiss you.... blaming patients for their neglectfulness . I Had a root canal in February took them til May to contact me so I CAN get a temporary filling....after I called them cause I had a hole in my tooth for 3months with food getting stuck in it TELLING them no1 contacted me... they want to put a temporarily filling . But NOW my tooth has a cavity and is infected, they now want to take cavity out and I can come back in August to finish procedure.... yeah okay.....so

Everyone in the office and in the back were absolutely wonderful they made me feel comfortable and relaxed Dr. Lee is the best she takes her time and listens to any questions and gives the best answer she hooked up my teeth and gave me a beautiful smile 😀

OMG. I would really do a commercial for this place!!! I was terrified of dentists until yesterday. Great experience from the second I walked in to the second I walked out. Ive already told several friends about it. Ive finally found my forever dentist.

Had a 45 min appointment at1030 and arrived at 1020. I was not placed in a chair till 1115. Completely ridiculous. After being there for 10 minutes finally got novocaine waited another 10 minutes for her to come back, because she was the only doctor available in the office that day. Go to find out there is only one doctor a day besides Thursdays. I wasnt done till 1230. Completely unacceptable. Very dissatisfied with the care and doctor

I went in for my appointment today and was taken right on time. The hygenist was very professional, knowledgeable, and had overall great patient care skills. The oral surgeon was even kind enough to take a few minutes out of his crazy schedule to have a quick consult with me. A definite improvement from my last visit.

I have had many bad experiences at many different dentist offices, until I tried Meriden Family Dental. They are absolutely wonderful. They were all kind and understanding of my bad experiences and helped me see that they were different. I have even started bringing all 4 of my children there. I thought they were good with me... My children actually look forward to dental visits! They are just amazing and I would and have recommended them to everyone.

Dr. Yub is an excellent dentist... I never feel the injection of the needle. Highly recommend this office for all your dental needs

The first time i went here was great i had a female dentist and she listened and helped me she was great when i cam back the head dentist saw me he was rude and disrespectful. he was unprofessional and just not a nice person. he could barley speak English and if i had to guess he got his license in some foreign country. unfortunately he is the owner of the practice so you will end up seeing him if you use them as your main dentist if he ever retires i would go back but as is i would never go there again.....he hurt my mouth so bad and gave me no meds at all STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS go to east main dental much better office

I waited over 40 minutes after my appointment to be seen. Finally when I was seated the dentist treated me like I was just another number. She did everything in a rush and was even mean to the girl helping her. I will never go here again.

They should remove the family title. There are no bathroom accommodations, you have to go all the way upstairs to the cafeteria bathroom. I am 35 weeks pregnant, was supposed to get my root canal months ago...had it done today, I am in so much pain. The anesthesia did not work, i felt every nerve piercing. I know most of it might be due to them being required to use the weekest aneststesia, but It probably didnt help that the denist told me hes taking a break to go check on another patient in the next room. After over a dozen times of stopping because the pain was too intense it started to seem frustrated (with good reason) and didnt stop right away when i made a sound to stop. When i first came there for a cleaning the sprayer drench my face and i had to tell them to stop. As nice as everyone was, I will not go back.

This is my 2nd time using this dentist. The first time I was pregnant and they were very cautious and used all the right precautions. Its a very nice and friendly place to go. Its very professional for being inside a mall lol. And if you dont have dental insurance, they offer great plans. The waiting area is very small but they are always on time and it seems as though no one is waiting long for their appointments.

Horrible treatment,i i went for a really bad wisdom tooth,plus pain driving me nuts,they told me that if i didnt have insurance it was gonna be cash,so i was like ok, but i was really in pain,so i paid upfront thinking they probably let me do a payment plan right!!!!nope they told me,is gonna be 130$$for a xray,250 to get the wisdom tooth out and i was like, can i get a payment plan and they knowing im in pain(1 to 10 i i w like a 9)they just told me,u have to pay all right now or we cant do nothing for u😴😴😠😡 worst service ever, i pay 40 just so they can tell me 370$$ right now or we cant do anything about it 😪😪

I give the office staff, dental assistants, dental hygienists, Seneida, Nicolina, Edily, Katt, Heather and even the brand new assistant Kim along with Dr. Lee and Dr. Patel a 5 Star rating!👍They are efficient, kind, patient, and empathetic towards all of their patients. The office is very clean and welcoming. They are very flexible when arranging appointments or rescheduling a last minute conflict. What dental office does that! They even have late appointments which works great for 1st shift workers. I am very disappointed that Dr. Lee left the office though, she was extremely thorough from explaining the options and procedures, to her A+ skills at giving needles 💉🔒📜and really cared about what was best for her patients. She will be sorely missed.😥

This was a few years back, I do not know if things have changed. I will share my experience though.They failed to put my filling in TWICE (it fell out both times). The first time I could not bite down properly and I had to beg them to fit me in the same day even though it was their failure. I had to go to another dentist to have it corrected.My wife was in so much pain from their attempt to apply Novocaine that her entire jaw ached for a week straight giving her migraines.The whole time the dentist seemed to have an attitude with both my wife and I whenever we went there.Needless to say we switched dentists. Looking back I feel as if I should have reported them for doing such a terrible job and leaving my wife in agony for a week.I am easy to get a long with and not at all a difficult customer for a company to deal with, I just want the bare minimum done, they did not even provide us with that.

The staff is really good and polite, they answered every question I had and were very nice to my son that was a little anxious.

I wouldnt recommend this place to no one they never finish their job, they will have you in a worst condition so you keep coming back to them I am still in pain for a root canal that they didnt finish and did a bad job from, they didnt even cover it up and now Im suffering from pain, swollen gum and bleeding ! Please go somwhere else thats more professional somwhere where they want the best for you not just your money . This place is the type to force Somone to write a good review because I even took my daughter and they didn’t take care of her issue as well . One of the worst places I’ve ever went to never again will I step into that place it should be shut down ! If you really want a good place to go to go to little tooth company in Southington they are wonderful and friendly they’ll fix you up in one day without giving you three appointments to get to what needs to be taken care of . Been with them for 2 years now and am happy !

My work that i got done at meriden family dental was fantastic. dr. patel was thorough and fast, and was more than willing to answer any questions i had or concerns i may of had about the extraction of my tooth. i was more than pleasantly surprised by the short amount of time it took and how quickly i was attended to, there was barely any waiting,at least none that was noticed or time consuming, i was dealt with almost immediately, and this was all from a walk in appointment in which they managed to squeeze me in in between patients because they were aware of the urgency of the tooth i needed pulled because it was hurting and was making life miserable so i praise them very much and hope to have dr. patel again.

Highly disappointed with this dentist office, I was last seen for a root canal and was never called back about any second nor third approvals to the steps indicated to complete a root canal, my molar ended up breaking & I had to get it pulled out ! Very upsetting, they don’t call you to remind you of your annual cleanings or anything very unprofessional.
