The store overall is good, although a bit poorly maintained, but the one thing that struck me is the complete lack of service. I spent 20 minutes in the store trying to find someone to discuss tv buying options with but the employees seemed to have all vanished except the one guy ringing people out. I have apent a fair share of money here on appliances and tvs and was very disappointed. Personally I would say go to one of the bigger non mall based stores.
I am an assistant, my boss had a computer issue. I spoke with Geek Squadd over the phone and set up an appointment for my boss and I to bring the computer into the store. My boss arrived to the store first, and the employee we worked with explained everything to to her. The employees name was Harry. He was very patient with her until I arrived. I arrived about 10 mins after she did, and she didnt want to make a decision without me so he waited with her patiently until I got there, and as they were waiting for me he told her some options she could take that would benefit her.When I arrived, Harry explained again all the options that my boss could take advantage of, and he was not at all bothered that he had to explain the options twice. He was such a pleasant person to work with. Once my boss and I made a decision. He continued to be helpful with advice, he explained absolutely everything that we needed to know.Through out the entire experience he was extremely kind, and was so thorough with details.I highly recommend going to this Geek Squad location in the Meriden mall, and maybe you will be lucky enough to work with Harry. :)
Search the internet and find somewhere else....youll thank me later.
