Went here because i was having pain in my knee and they turned me away. They said they would have to charge me out the pocket and I have Insurance smh called another walk-in clinic and they never heard of such a thing. All they taking is covid patient I guess. Its all about the money.

It was convenient - I was able to get appointment at 7 pm - after work. The staff was friendly, and knowledgeable and i felt welcome. My result was negative so I was very pleased. I wish to thank the lady who took care of me.

The entire medical team were all exceptional. Very professional and thorough as well as kind and caring. The facility was so clean. I was seen by Christna Mule who was reassuring and knowledgeable. Highly recommended.

I’m glad I made the Rapid COVID test appointment the day before. My wait time was about five minutes and I was out of there in less than 30 minutes. The woman at the front desk and the doctor were professional in their duties!

I went to urgent care and was turned around because they not taking no more patients, mind you its only 1pm. I will never go back again! They need to do better!

If i could give this clinic 0 stars I would! The staff would hardly listen to my needs and did very little to properly diagnose me. When I came back to day after because I had a badd reaction to the meds they gave me the doctor didnt want to do anything for me, I actually had to go to Yale to get good care. I am extremely disappointed.

They have treated me for many things over the years and have always been good. I highly recommend them.

The medical assistant that check me in was friendly, the wait time was short however the PA name Chris if i remember correctly was unfriendly. I came in for an abdominal pain, he said he saw my chart without checking me or ask much questions said that with my age and previous abdominal problem in which i had a bacteria in my intestine it not like i have previous cancer. He said i have to go to the emergency room. And that’s it, check me out and left. It was a waste of time since i have to drive far to get here no wonder this place has a lot of available time. Dont ever go here! Wont get anything solve.

I made a virtual visit appointment to avoid the clinic. I signed into the virtual waiting room 20 minutes prior just to be sure. It’s now 30 minutes past my appointment time and no provider ever showed up. Incredibly unprofessional. I have my browsing history and a screenshot to prove I was in the room via the link provided.Don’t even bother with this place.

I went in for a routine covid test for work and they put in my chart that i went in for back pain and that I was prescribed medication so they can charge my insurance for my visit. Physician was rude and acted as if I was a germ, wouldn’t even walk near me. I spoke to them multiple times regarding this in my chart and my insurance and they haven’t fixed or reached back out. Do not trust them.

The staff was courteous and helpful. Although I was unable to be seen when I walked in, they helped me set up an appointment for the next day. They were just as helpful when I had my actual appointment.

Everyone working here was absolutely lovely. We got there right at the time they were opening and walked in. They took us in quickly. The nurse working was pleasant and fast! The provider was phenomenal and really worked with me for a treatment plan. The facility was beautiful on top of that. Definitely going to keep this place in mind if I need an urgent care again.

2 stars because the appointment making/check in experience was easy and went smoothly. Patient care was less than mediocre. I complained of a sore throat, cough, congestion etc. My throat wasn’t looked at. My lungs were not listened to.. ummmm? I’m not asking you to perform brain surgery here. How can you determine a patients plan of care (which consisted of no plan at all) without at minimum a physical exam..never mind any testing. Anyways, waste of time.

I would recommend going to Hartford Health Urgent care as it was an easy and relaxing experience., Wait time wasn’t that long and the staff was friendly and happy to answer any questions I had.

If I could give a zero I would. As soon as I walked in I didn’t get a good vibe. Not sure who the lady was. She was working today 6/282020 at 3 PM. She had an attitude towards me for no reason. She made me feel like I was bothering her especially when she did an EKG. At the end she told me you can start taking those off with an attitude. Skip this place. And not to mention anxiety and if I was seeing a therapist was being tossed around. I think I know when I’m having anxiety.. left with no answers like what I was feeling was being imagined.

I used to go to Middlesex urgent care but the Dr that I always saw seemed aggravated. I decided this time to try Hartford Healthcare and I am so glad I did. I was greeted with friendliness, they were quick at getting me in the system and in a room and definitely took the anxiety out of seeing a medical professional. I was in and out in no time and am so glad I gave them a try! The facility was spotless and my experience was very good. I would recommend them to friends and family.

Not sure why the negative reviews / maybe those people are gone, but I had an excellent visit. Receptionist / MA that took my BP and PA that fixed my finger infection...all smooth and polite...good visit.

I hate to hate on healthcare workers during these difficult times because it is a hard thankless job. However, I walked out of this center questioned why I even bothered. There were 4 staff when I arrived. The young man was courteous and attentive, everyone else ignored me for at least 15 minutes and NO OTHER PATIENCE WERE IN THE FACILITY! The board said zero! When I went in to the room I was instructed on how to self swab and then the nurse left the room. I am fairly intelligent but it would have been more appropriate to instruct me and stand 6 feet away to ensure I did it correctly. Again, still no other patients in the facility. Then I am told the results take 5-7 days. I called my husband in Bridgeport and he was tested early afternoon and had his results when he came home this evening. There was no sensitivity or questions asked about my high risk factors. The PA did answer a couple questions which was fine but I walked out feeling very annoyed. My daughter had a similar experience when she was there a few months ago before this COVID scare. You all just need to do better. No patient should feel like I did when I came out of there. Maybe the gentleman at the desk should give his female counterparts some pointers.

Main staff reception and nurse are amazing the doctor was very bad... I believe her name was GinaShe sent my prescription to CVS they charged me 54 dollars for 14 pills even if I insisted for my prescription to be sent to Walmart or shoprite pharmacy dr denied and sent me to pay premium to CVS.Very vas service by the doctor never going back here maybe they had a deal with CVS thats why she forced me go there...

This system is a JOKE. My girlfriend got a PCR COVID test at this facility eight days ago and she still has not received her results. Let me say that again...its been eight days. I know people who tested after her with other companies and received results days ago. My girlfriend is a teacher as well, at a time when we need teachers the most she is not allowed to return to work because Hartford Healthcare completely and utterly failed. There is no customer support and no one has a clue. My girlfriend got tested because of an exposure at her workplace. Go anywhere but a Hartford Healthcare facility. I hear Yale does a good job.

I have been waiting 8 days for results on a COVID test. I am under the impression the results have been lost as well because they keep referring me to MYChart but MyChart doesn’t even show pending results. I am told there isn’t a person I can speak with or a number to call to get this resolved. I have to physically go in person because they aren’t taking calls. I can’t return to work nor can my son return to school yet other people have covid tested at other places and gotten results. I can’t even get any help regarding this matter- beyond frustrated. I would have given zero stars if possible for the lack of assistance I have received.

Front desk/medical assistant professional and courteous(same person). All tests performed returned negative. During this Covid19 times didnt expect to spend 70 minutes in this facility. Had to leave the room twice to get the PAs attention. Tests being performed were notexplained. Would not recommend.

Very clean and efficient operation you all have going on in the Meriden location. My Friday 2/14 visit was pleasant and productive and got me the treatment I needed to feel MUCH better than I was that day. The staff and PA were all very on-top-of their games. Kudos!

Front desk staff was professional and cordial. The PA did not go over exactly what she was testing for only stating it was a screening without further details. When a patient goes to an urgent care facility, redundancy here, is because is URGENT and we expect the health professionals to answer our concerns and address our needs. To assume a patient would not understand or need the clarification is disrespectful and proves a very serious systemic problem.

They were fast, listened to my concerns with my health and gave me great advice. Place was very very clean, made me feel very comfortable. Rooms were huge and very clean. Staff was friendly. If I need to see a doctor again during my weekends in the future I definitely will be back!!!!

Front desk staff is polite and helpful. One of the male PAs they have there is rude, condescending, and volatile. He got out of his seat and lunged at me when I asked for his name to make a final complaint. He does not like to be questioned. Doesn’t spend a lot of time with you. Was very dismissive. I will never go back again.

My doctor was booked up for the day as usual. The staff at your office was courteous and professional with a minimal wait time to see a provider. She gave me a complete exam and it turned out I had the Flu.

Very quick and exceptionally professional staff. Signed up for a time online, got there 10 minutes early and was seen almost immediately. Far exceeded expectations, will definitely use again for any urgent care needs and recommend to anyone in need of the same services.

I tried to give this location a fair shake by going back after having had a bad experience there one other time, but this one was just as disappointing if not more. The medical assistant was incredibly nice but the PA was awful. Both times I went there, this particular PA acted as if I should not have even gone there. Both times, he dismissed concerns that I had about my condition. He almost acts as if the patient is wasting his time. It is the oddest thing. I will definitely not be returning.

Service today wasn’t good. Went originally because daughter has flu like symptoms but while there she felt winded and felt she was gonna pasa out. Front desk lady was rude!!! Said sorry we can’t help ya. Take her to closest hospital. I mean ok but she had no bed side manners. When ambulance came she was short with them and said we don’t even know her know and haven’t touched her. No need for rudeness. Have compassion in dealing with patients or find another profession. Would have gave a Zero on here...we were there at 6:30pm

I’ve been to this urgent care twice, and both times I was seen super quickly, and the doctors and medical staff were really great with me. Everyone had wonderful bedside manner. I also received a courtesy call a few days later to see how I was feeling. Definitely recommend this place.

I normally see my personal physician, but as a walk-in Friday, I was number 11 in the que. So I tried out the Urgent Care walk-in on Broad street. Friendly staff! I was seen by Chris (physicians assistant) in less than 5 minutes. He spent about 15 minutes with me, then sent over a few prescriptions to my local CVS. All in all fast and thorough. Can not speak to the charges (yet). UPDATE: 1/6/20; After email responses from both Hartford HealthCare and my insurance company this is what I learned. The published rates on the Clinics website are ONLY for people without health care insurance. The rates Hartford HC bills your insurance (for a minimal office visit (ie no labs) will be what the negotiated rate is. Possibly 2-3 times more than the website lists. Then they apply the negotiated discount that your insurance has agreed to actually pay. In my case the final costs out of pocket were 50% higher than minimal rate listed. Bottom line: For me (with a fairly good HC plan) I should have told billing clerk I had no insurance and simply paid out of pocket. Would have saved $60.00 from final bill due. Went from 5 Stars to 3 Stars.

Great facility, fast service, and the Doctor Jamie is phenomenal in every aspect. (My first review was 5 stars) I have edited my review based on my past 2 visits and my fiancés visit which I regretfully recommended to her. One of the doctors misdiagnosed her and prescribed antibiotics, I would leave one star, but when following up a week later for more antibiotics another doctor looked over the sample results and told my fiancé to not take anymore (at the same time asking why the physician had prescribed anything in the first place). A couple great experiences and a couple horrible ones. 50/50 shot of getting proper check up, great percentage to be considering when it’s your health on the line.

As soon as I walked in Saturday afternoon, the vibe was weird and i was not greeted nicely. It was almost like i was a bother to the employees, I was in alot of pain and they did not help what so ever. My only concern here is that you have someone there that misdiagnosed me with a fractured foot when i did not have anything wrong with my foot just a sprain. That is dangerous and unacceptable, the doctor looked puzzled and not knowledgeable of what he was doing. I will never recommend this place to anyone for their own safety

Took my brother there last Sunday due to a cut on his arm from a glass table top and it was bleeding heavily. The staff were all sitting around and didnt seem to take us seriously in our request to get stitches in his arm ASAP. All of them walked or shuffled their feet very slowly to talk to each other leaving us in the middle of reception not knowing what was going on. Guess thats how they act 30 minutes before closing. Only 1 other patient there. We had to keep asking what was going on and they looked bewildered at us like what?. Finally someone said they were getting the room ready...um..okay. Went into said room and waited another 10 minutes before I went out & asked a nurse when the doctor was going to help him. The nurse thought the doctor was in there, the doctor thought the nurse was in there taking vital signs! The nurse & doctor were very nice but i knew how bad it was when we left home cuz the vein was sticking up where the cut was and took forever to get serviced. For a place thats called Urgent Care, they didnt take us urgently. The nurse even had the pressure tape on his arm so tight that the doctor commented that his hand was turning purple! Never again will I be taking anyone there! Even my Mom had same lack of service there a few months ago. Nor will I recommend them to anyone. Medi-quick on Pomeroy Ave is the best & closest place to go in an emergency or holiday (been there 2 yrs in a row on July 4th).

Nurse was extremely rude and questioned why we brought our child in despite the pediatrician telling us too as he wasnt available. He was suffering from a reaction to his medication and we were told thats not an emergency from the nurse. Mid-State provided better service and with the amount of negative experiences people have there, that states a lot. We will not be returning and will go out of way to go somewhere else.

If Owen Randall is working, WALK OUT. I went in for a diagnosis and was told I was fine and had nothing to worry about. That same night I ended up in the ER. I will NEVER set foot in this walk-in again.

Tuesday, November 14, ‘17. I went to Hartford Healthcare/Midstate ER. Very pleasant atmosphere. From check in, being called in, and my RN and Doctor. All was a pleasant experience!!

I will never go there again I got a call back today for my sons test results I got the call from a woman named Gina when I call back to get the results she was in the background telling the receptionist my results and what to tell me I did not know that receptionist can give out that kind of information regardless to if the person was telling them or not and a whole time I can hear her in the background on top of that when she call to leave the message shes very nasty and cold and rude

Excellent care, staff and Doctor made me feel like home I highly recommend this Walk in health center.

Watch what you sign on the signature pad. You are giving your permission to bill your credit card in the future if insurance did not cover all or part of your visit. Happened to me.

I very obviously have a sinus infection and the doctor who barely examined me told me i just had a cold and to go home and be a couch potato with his tiny pupiled eyes.They tested for strep which came back negative. Bad experience. Wont go back. The sweet girl at the desk did more than the actual doctor. Total waste of time.
