We are thrilled with our new kitchen hardwood floor installed by Fiderio and sons. As usual they took the time to do it right. Their employees are professional as well as very personable. We definitely recommend them.

My apartment has been getting work done for about a month now. Fiderio came out last fall to do an assessment, and while I understand that the pandemic slowed things down, there was little communication for updates unless we called. Quite a few design elements that were talked about numerous times were left off and the subcontractors had no clue what we were talking about. And I just walked in to see that my sink was placed but there are no faucets and from what i was told the old sink was just left on my kitchen floor. Being Saturday I can assume I will not have a sink until at least Monday, though who really knows. Very disappointed and would not recommend.

A job well done without ANY surprises. Who said boring is bad? In these days it is a unexpected pleasure when all goes as planed without last minute issues.This was the first project completed by Fiderio & Son but Im sure not the last.JLMeriden, CT

Fiderio’s did 2 bathroom remodels for us. We would recommend them and we wouldn’t hesitate to use them again. From John coming in to quote the job and help us select everything to Jefferson, Sergio, Phil & Bryan project manager on the job, everyone was great. We are very happy with our finished project. Everyone was professional, courteous, friendly and did good work. During a time after pandemic materials can be a problem but Fiderio’s came through, any little challenges that came up were resolved. First Bathroom old tub insert changed to a walk-in shower with glass doors, new toilet, new floors, new sink & counter top and some drywall repair. Love the finished job.2nd was our master bedroom bath, required remove very large jetted tub, gutting some of walls and floor, added in new plumbing to add toilet, new toilet install, install new tub plumbing & deep soaking alcove tub with tile surround, new sink with vanity top, new fan, beautiful tile floor, drywall work too. The change is amazing and very happy. We Want to give Jefferson a lot of credit - 5 stars, he was on the job everyday, he did so much work on his own and can’t speak highly enough about him and his work ethic. Fiderio is My go to for house construction and repairs. Over the years, they have remodeled a bathroom, installed windows throughout the house, sliding doors, installed a new roof and front door. They have also painted the exterior of our home. They always work with me on various options and give me a choice of what can be done. The teams are always professional and knowledgeable. They have experts in all categories of construction. So if problems arise, they have the right guy to solve it. Most recently we had some security windows replaced in our detached garage. Was given three options and Fiderio helped me make the right choice for our needs. The job was done expertly and with minimal disturbance or need for my consultation. It was done before I knew it and cleaned up as if no one had been there. Installer showed me the work and how to use the new windows from locks to security features to pullout for cleaning. We also had our house painted by them and I cannot say enough about the amazing job they did. We have a very old house. The didnt just paint over the crud or rot. They sanded to the bones and replaced wood everywhere necessary. They fully coated the undercoat and applied a decent amount of paint for top coat so as not to see through. They even stained my deck. I am so happy I found Fiderio many years ago now. And will always use them as my ho to team.

We have used Fiderio in the past and had contracted them again to install some replacement windows. Our plans got sidetracked when a storm did an extensive amount of damage to our home prior to install, putting multiple trees through our roof. I am glad we were working with them at the time because Fiderio was a great help to us throughout the process of piecing our house back together. They were able to help through the insurance claim process, providing a better understanding of the repairs needed so we could negotiate our settlement. They handled multiple layers of repair from structural repair, roofing, siding, interior repairs, the windows and more. Jonathan was communicative throughout keeping us updated and always available when we had questions. All staff we interacted with were great. Look forward to using them for future projects.

Every project is challenging when you are living in the home being remodeled. The crew separated the work space and cleaned/ removed/ cleaned again on a daily basis. Ahead of schedule and right on budget. Caring and Quality were best-in-class.

Fiderio built a beautiful screened porch on to our home and the work and workmanship was excellent. This company is very professional, uses high quality building materials and the workers are true craftsmen, friendly, and personable. Very good experience for us.

Cant say enough about our experience with Fiderio & Sons. From start to finish it was a great experience. They responded quickly to our initial service inquiry. The salesperson - Mike Uccellini was very knowledgeable and took the time to answer all of our questions and make sure he fully understood what we were looking to have done. He offered expert advice when we needed it. The office staff was great promptly returned my emails and phone calls about scheduling. Finally the carpenter, Steve was superb! He was very detailed oriented, clean and meticulous!! All around a 5 star performance was delivered! In this day and age where service, communication and follow up seem to be lacking by a lot of service oriented companies it was nice to work with with one that delivered on all of their promises!!

Fiderio completed a renovation of my mothers bathroom from a 1970s style to a modern one with senior accommodations - they did this with utmost professionalism, friendliness and at very good value. Further, about one year later, when my mother required another grab bar, because of her deteriorating physical condition, they went above and beyond in obtaining and installing the bar which was needed within a tight deadline. I live in the midwest, about 1000 miles away, and coordinated this with Fiderio. Their office manager, Margaretann, ensured my request reached the expert, David Laferriere, who had worked on the original installation, then David who happened to be on vacation, called me the next day to ensure his personnel located the grab bar [the last available in their warehouse], then installed it in time for my mother to use it, upon her return from the hospital - truly special!

I called Fiderio and Sons to review a problem with my double garage support beams as I noticed some wood rot in our home that is approx. 18 years old. The staff were friendly and assisted in explaining the consultation and estimating process and we scheduled the appointment. My consultation was with John Fiderio, Owner. At the time of our initial consultation, John quickly determined that original siding and flashing had not been properly installed by our builders at the time our home was built. Therefore the improper installation (from another company/builder) lead to pretty substantial wood rot in our header and side beams of our double garage and bonus room. He assessed the siding damage which ultimately prompted him to recommend a time and materials agreement to further assess, evaluate the interior damage and then begin necessary repairs.This was the most fair contractor quote we had received which was important to us, since we had no idea what we would find once we removed our siding to explore the damage. The staff coordinated a timely schedule to get the work started, giving me time to move belongings out of my garage in preparation of the anticipated work. I spoke with the production manager that was assigned to my project and he prepared us for the job, so there were no surprises in what to expect. The workers that assessed and repaired the rotten garage header beams were excellent. They removed our siding and made necessary repairs in multiple areas. From start to finish my wife and I were both very pleased. John, and the team at Fiderio took on this repair project and we were very satisfied start to finish. Great experience all around.

We approached the daunting challenge to add on to our home and extensively remodel our 1970’s colonial home and instantly felt comfortable when we met the owner, John Fiderio.In the process of updating every room, including an open floor plan, John and his entire team became our teammates to execute our remodeling project, which included two separate new foundations to add approximately 1,000 square feet of living space. Once the plans were finalized, we worked with the Fiderio team to select the materials while we were very pleased at the pace of the remodeling. Paul was an amazing conductor of the construction phase of the project. Every day there were 6 – 12 workers on site, gutting the inside, excavating and pouring the foundations, while coordinating the inspections, roofing and all trades. The timing of this large project was a concern and we were pleasantly surprised when the work was completed in less time than schedule, actually less than 3.5 months from start. The Fiderio team coordinated all activities.During the project, we were extremely pleased with the cleanliness and professionalism of the workers as well as John’s personal attention to details. Mark was wonderful executing the finishing touches in the kitchen and crown modeling. The bottom line - John and his team met the timeline with a superior product. We would gladly do this project again and there is no question we would do it again with Fiderio & Sons!

During a wind and rain storm in November we had a very, very large tree fall in the middle of the night that caused significant damage to our 3 season sunroom. Since this was obviously going to be an insurance claim, we wanted to find a company that would deal with the insurance company directly and alleviate that stress from us. We contacted Fiderio & Sons to provide a quote and to see if they would contact and work with the insurance company directly. Matt Dowe came out, provided an estimate and took the lead in working with the insurance company. Matt submitted all paperwork, pictures, worked with the insurance adjuster and negotiated on our benefit. We waited a few weeks for the materials to arrive but our new 3 season sunroom was up and done within 1 week..... in February. Matt and Margaretann were fantastic to work with and kept us well informed. We are extremely happy with Fiderio & Sons and love our new sunroom! I would highly recommend Fiderio & Sons for your home improvements.

We had replacement windows done at a rental property we own. All the people involved from the receptionist to the installation crew were top notch. Would highly recommend.

Before I hired a company to install 20 replacement windows in our 200 year old historic house I did my research. Jonathan with Fiderio & Sons was great...he listened to what we wanted, responded quickly, worked around our schedules and provided a competitive price. Working with his crew went smoothly, they received the windows ahead of schedule and installed in less than 2 days. The windows are great quality, they keep the noise out, no more drafts, look great with the house and a bonus I wasn’t expecting was a child safety feature so that my toddlers can’t open the windows all the way. Overall, it was a great value, experience and I would highly recommend them.

Nothing but GREAT things to say about Fiderio & Sons. From the beginning, they have been very professional, easy to work with, and very accommodating. Jonathan Fiderio was very polite and not pushy like a lot of sales people. Their showroom may seem small from the outside, but inside, they have tons of samples of tiles, flooring, cabinets, and other fixtures to look at (they even have a secret door to the downstairs thats behind a bookshelf - my 4 year old loved that!). The carpenters and other people from Fiderio & Sons working on our bathrooms are extremely nice and doing a great job. If they have questions on how we want something done in the bathrooms, they ask before doing it so its done correctly the first time. I would highly recommend Fiderio & Sons to anyone looking for someone to do renovations and remodeling in their house.

I’ve not used their service but in reading the reviews, disappointed in seeing the owners are responding to only the 4-5 star reviews. I put more value in continued support and customer care. You May want to address the bad reviews. Wether or not they are satisfied, you will have shown support.

We needed two skylights replaced and the roof re-shingled on our club room. We got a prompt, good quote, and the work was done in one day (the day after Christmas). Everything came out great, and whole room and area were left in perfect, spotless condition.

Fantastic service by an extremely nice, polite, efficient, courtious, competent and reliable company to replace 40 year old, rotting windows. He left the place clean, and even took the time to remove a window pane that had a sticker on it since Id been in grammar school, simply because I said Id miss it. Customer for life.

I have a mixed review, Fiderio did our siding a few years ago and they did a very nice job within the time frame that they promised so I was pleased. That is why when our house developed leaks from ice dams I called to see if they could remove the ice dams. They sent someone out, first with the wrong size ladder and then he came back and said he would take a picture of the roof before he began. He was up there for 25 minutes, and judging from the amount of snow he was shoveling off there was not much left for very little was being thrown down. He came down, said he forgot to take the picture when he got up there but he showed me a picture of the 2 ice dams that remained. He said he could do nothing about that and left, total time 35 minutes, price $200. And yes, I still had and continue to have water damage, now it has made it all the way to the first floor. When it comes time to repair all the damage, I will not be calling Fiderio. I called for help with Ice Dams not Snow Removal. I know there are companies out there that actually remove dams by drilling holes and putting a salt compound into the gutters to create a channel for the run off. Fiderio should have said they provide roof snow removal but not Ice dam removal, It was a waste of $200.

Spoke with Fiderio and Sons about several projects I was considering. I found them to be very attentive to my ideas and concerns. Jonathan was great at listening & they offered several good options and solutions to my outdated home. I would highly recommend them.

Our 4 season sunroom, which John and his team helped us design, came out beyond what we had imagined. Fiderio & Sons many years experience obviously came into play here knowing what design works for our lifestye, what is best for our Winter climate to conserve energy, how best to match the sunroom to our house so it looks like part of the original design, and better yet, their absolute attention to detail. Never once during the construction phase did the crews look rushed -steady and hard work every day! There were no short cuts. BTW I was in the trades and I know construction.. I dont often give reviews but please dont hesitate to consult with John before starting your next project. Fiderio will make it a stress free experience..

Very happy with the company they did a great job and very polite

I hired them to replace my roof. I am waiting 2 years for them to replace the one they did. They hired subcontractors who did a lousy job picturs avail if you want. I was then told that my roof pitch is too shallow for the product but they put it on anyway. They said they would replace it but refuse to now based on the pitch. They put it on not me. There are also to huge holes in my hardwood floors I found after I removed the protective cardboard covering. Now they don’t call back. Next step is consumer protection and Facebook to tell everyone the story.

The quote was higher than ever other one I got but went with Fiderio anyway because of the name. The deck they built still has not passed inspection and after going back and forth with them for six months they have stopped calling me back. Do not get work done by them! They do not stand behind their craftsmanship, they have terrible customer service, and their work is not up to code.
