GT tire always has fair prices I’ve been coming for years. always happy with the service that is provided to me in a timely manner :) my preferred and go to place !

They quoted me $850 for 4 spark plugs and 4 coils to be replaced. They said it’s high because it’s original parts. So I looked on Hyundai’s website and they were charging me double than what Hyundai sells it. I was upset. I decided to go to Autozone and got 4 spark plugs, each costing $8, and a bundle of 4 coils for $167.99. I learned to do it myself, did it in 30 minutes. It was actually easy and I saved myself $650. Cars running again and check engine light is gone. I have to do what I can myself now because typical mechanics ripping off women. Tired and sick of it.

I blew out 2 tires at 330 in the afternoon. GT took my car in ordered the tires and by 2 pm the next day I had 4 new tires and front and back wheel alignment. The service was great. Highly recommend.

This company is so friendly I would definitely chose them if you are having an emergency and need a quick fix for a flat tire! I pulled up one day and my rim was to the ground; that’s how flat my tire was! Little did I know they were closed so I was about to get out the car to walk back home. The store owner saw me outside and she was nice enough to serve me even though G&T was closed! The mechanic was also quick and didn’t moan or complain for fixing my car after hours. They are SUPER nice I would recommend them to anyone!

I came here for just a 1 tire replacement. How long it would take tho? 4 5 min for changing it. I blow up my tire very close to this location and hoping they would help me. Been told to wait an hour. Will never do business.

I went in for a routine tune up and left with my vehicle giving me Problems. When I tried to go past 3RPMs my car wouldnt let me. I took it to another place and they told me i should bring the car back because they put it in safe mode. When I brought the vehicle back they told me that it wasnt anything that they did ... It was my transmission mind you my car was running awesome before I brought it in... And they told me if I can prove it was something they did to the car then they would give me my almost 300 bucks back...needless to say every place I took the car was charging to much just to diognose it so I had to spend more money an get a new car cause the old one was un safe to drive....Side note while we were there a woman called and said that the brand new tires that she just brought from them and they place them on had fallen off her car.....please they are crooks and will leave your car tore up... I had a 2013 kia soul and never had any problems with my car until I took it to these crooks😟😞😣😢😤

They have been in business since the 1970s and have been providing a high level of service to the meriden area for over 50 years.They also offer SNAP Financing if you cant afford the cost of the entire job all at once. SNAP offers 100 days to pay off the loan free of interest!I love these guys and Ill definitely be back! It was worth it traveling from new haven.

Had some work done on my 2014 Kia this past August. When I brought my car in, I thought it had different issues because of a noise in the front end. After they looked at my car a nice gentleman called me back and told me what I actually needed and how much it would cost. Its been a month and some change now and my car is still running new. They could of charged me for everything under the sun. They are honest people, its hard to find that especially when your a woman walking in.

I dropped my car off after being quote $800 at Firestone for the new Rotors and breaks. Gt did the job for half the price and the car drove as good as new. They were prompt and accurate. Loved dealing with them.

Depend on your car, they do ok service. Brought in a Cadillac for brakes and rotors, had to come back, because brakes was not properly installed. Had rear tires replace, had to come back, tire went flat after leaving shop. You will receive more reliable service somewhere else.

My car wasnt functioning right and was loosing power when going up any hills. I brought it over a car repair shop in Meriden and they told me to bring it back in a week because they were behind schedule repairing other cars. That was not acceptable for me or my situation. So I brought it over to GT and they immediately took my car in and within minutes they told me what was wrong with my car. They were able to repair my car and have it available to me by the end of the day. GT offer me a ride home and a ride to pick me up too. I appreciate the friendly service they provided me and being so promptly with the repair. Im making GT my 1st Auto Mechanic Repair Shop. Thanks Gene and Ori.

She said yes I asked what the percentage of use on the tires were and she respond with why are you asking me that like Im suppose to know and proceed to yell at me saying its my problem and to come look myself ... I had a horrible experience. They never changed my rotors and back drums and my timing belt. I couldnt pick up the car so my wife did. And when I got home i found out that they stole all my money and no work was done in my vehicle. Stay away from them.

I dropped off my car and had studs replaced, just yesterday driving home from work i got a flat tire. Upon jacking the car up I struggled to get off 1 lug nut. Come to find out the lugs were over torqued and lug nut went thru the rim. Now I have a damaged rim and forced to replace.

STAY AWAY...the worst experience i got in my life was with those amateurs workers.I waste my time and my money for a service i did not get and it cost me extra money to fix their terrible mistakes. I asked them to switch wheels for my 2 cars 2008 vw rabbit and 2011 jetta se. the vw rabbit has after market rims and i wanted to put them in vw jetta.i asked for the price and i told it is only $ 40. when they start doing it they asked me to pay $120 extra to put a sensors other way i will get the tires sign on in my both cars. i told them ok . I spend around 2 hours and half waiting but at the end they asked me to buy 20 lug nuts from Volkswagen dealer and that will cost around $ 200. i get upset and i told them to forget it. 1 paid $140 for nothing. After few days i went to another mechanic and he was shocked about the problem caused by this amateurs:- 4 lug nuts MISSING from the VW jetta.- 4 sensors MISSING from the VW rabbit- tires pressure are EXTREMELY DIFFERENT for all tires : 41, 41, 35 and 32 for jetta and 39, 35, 33 and 28 for the rabbit.- The VW rabbit became horrible when u drive it, it was shaking when you speeding.- instead of fixing the sensors they just reset the light then the light came on after 3 days.I will NEVER go back there and I am not letting anyone i know to go there.Bad EXPERIENCE.

Made an appointment for mounting for tires I had purchased, spoke to a young gentleman that quoted me $15 a tire after he asked me what size tire, had to send my wife as I was busy, they charged her $20 per tire and then a disposal fee, when she told them I was quoted 15 they said I was a liar, and they wouldve never quoted that price, they either prayed on her because she was a woman or are a bunch of scammers Im not sure which
