8 hours in total being here. I paid lumper and I am still waiting here for my BOL. That was over a hour and a half ago. Update 13 hours in total. 6 hours after I paid lumpers . They forgot to call me. 3 am and I’m just now leaving. They told me it was because they had to count the damage goods. Seriously!?Never again.

What is the point of holding the trucking company up for hours on end while your workers go so slow at counting product. If you are missing product or have too much take it up with the shipper not the trucking company. The load is loaded and sealed by the shipper the driver has nothing to do with this. And lumper fees on top of it? What a joke this place is. McLane needs to start paying for their detention and pay their own lumper fees. This place is a disgrace to the industry

They give you a time to come in for work but you never know when you getting off the supervisor can tell you your doing a 8 hour shift that day and turn around its a 11-12 hour shift then when you ask if you can leave a little early for an appointment they tell you No you have to stay in tell the work is finished

No matter how early you get here and even though you have an appointment they never get you in on time constantly having to call the guard shack threatening to leave because I’m running out of time

Checked in 5pm for 5pm appointment got door 7:15 pm.it is 8:30 pm. They didnt even started yet.and you can imagine. Worst place for truckers.they should be boycotted. At 12:05 I am still waiting for paperwork.

Bad service 9 hours wait still no call for door

Not real happy.Got here 1 hour before my appointment.Security was a little rude.Got dock door 5 minutes before my 1900 (7:00 pm) appointment time.Now it is 2300 (11:00 pm).Still in door.Still waiting.Out of hours.Be sleeping outside gate, when ever they notify me that they are done.Two b.o.l. two different orders, same company was the shipper, in two different states.Okay dock door just closed @ 2310 (11:10pm).Was just notified done, bills in back, 2315 (11:15pm)Now it is 2345 (11:45am) just got a hold of somebody to get my straps back for them, two milk creates of them.

Typical McLanes. Park on street, walk to guard shack and check in. Wait for call. First come, first serve. About five hours total time from arrival to finish. O/N parking on street. Porta Potty.

No idea why one has to park on street and then check in. Otherwise its an OK place

Delivering Coke products. Dont pull into the gate. Go park your truck on the side of the road and walk to the security gate. Theyll tell you when you can go unload.

Park on the street then walk your paperwork to the gate guard and theyll call you when they have a dock for you.Port a potty outside the gate.They do have Lumpers so....Only reason a 4 star is lumper fee a bit more than it should be.

Five stars for this place. Jose at the guard booth is a really friendly guy. Went out of his way to make sure I got in and out in about an hour. Everyone inside was also friendly. Great place

This facility should be ashamed of themselves for their utter disrespect for drivers. From capstone ineffectively communicating with drivers to the only provision for facilities being a porta potty out in the street at 113° is an OSHA nightmare, ESPECIALLY in these challenging times. Security is friendly, Capstone needs to go back to kindergarten and learn the basics in manners.

Delivery by appointment. No parking available inside their premises. Only limited on the street, where you are to park and walk to the guard shack. They take your number and call you with a door. Once they call you, stop at guard shack for a driver delivery pass and further directions/instructions. Plenty of space for backing.

Park on street, walk bills to guard shack with your CDL. They will get your phone # and give you a form to fill out along with a Manila envelope. Once they call with your door assignment, line up with dock, open doors, put bills in envelope and place in trailer, back into dock. They will call with Lumper amount if you have one. They bring the bills to the truck. Guard waves as you leave, no empty trailer inspection. O/N parking on street. Porta Potty by the front gate. Was in door shortly after appt. time. Bills took a bit. Overall easy, just not the quickest place.

Id give 0 stars if I could. One of the worst places to deliver to. Sure its spacious enough to back in, but theyre slow as molasses. Expect to be here for hours. Just ridiculous

Quick in and out, no problems here. After reading the reviews here and then being told They will call when a door is open I thought here we go, but got a door within a half hour. Unloaded then called right away for paperwork.

Park out front and walk up to guard shack to check in. Guards were very polite and respectful. Called to dock at appointment time. Checked in at warehouse window at 15:37, checked out at 16:44. Had 28 pallets. Everything went smoothly.

Worst place 8 hours to unload 7 pallets

Night shift security guard or gate keeper horrible person he thinks he is smart but its an advice if McLean wants run there business for long term teach them to give respect people because there parents didnt teach them. I wish he will be fire soon and join pet training for good behavior. And speaking in his limits.

They have capstone lumper services they are alway bzy in fun I was standing almost 1 hour in front of window only for watching these people’s but they are bzy in different activities

Very slow.... They take three hours to unload and another three hours for BOLs.... They do not understand the value of time....

I have a problem letting the security guard hold on to my drivers license while I am on the property!With identity theft being a problem these days I dont feel comfortable leaving my drivers license with the guard. I dont know them, and I certainly dont trust them!If you refuse they turn you away and tell you to have your company send a different driver.

Getting better, the lumpers have an account with TSN now, so easy no check. Its random for service. I wonder if parking on the street will end when construction is finished. Either park across from entrance or there is turn around near tracks down the road.

Very impressed. Really impressed because this is Mclane. Delivered a full load of frozen meat here and was in and out in just under 2 hours. Security guard and Capstone lumpers were super friendly.

McLane would have been the best company to work with here in Merced if most of the staff there removes racist in whatever they are doing. To start with, Garcia who is in-charge of jobs application is so rude to people and she uses her position at the company to treat those she dont like bad, in other words, she is a racist. I had a terrible bad experience with her and I know few more people with such bad experience with Garcia. She should be put on a watch, someone in that her position shouldnt be a racist. The company needs good person to review and accept peoples application based on who meet the requirements for a particular job not a racist or someone with bias mind over people.

It was nice of them to unload me tonight. But had 1 case refused for a small tear.

I dont know why places still operate like this. Appt was at five I arrive at four thirty and check in. It was after six before I was given a door and wasnt done until eight fifteen. For a pallet and a half. Lumper was $74.U S Cold Storage is way better. 7 pallets=20 minutes and free.So I recommend McClane change or die.

Read the other reviews! I delivered 2 pallets here. I looked inside the trailer when opening the doors. Everything was good. When I finally got empty after 3 hours, they unloaded 1 pallet and topped over the other pallet. Didnt unload it, just left it on my trailer and called it damaged. Charged $84 for 2 pallets still, but left 1 on the trailer. This place is ridiculous. I tools that stupid b*tch that the product was not damaged, but Ill restack it. Just give me 5 minutes. She said their system was closed for the day. It was 7pm and they were still unloading tricks! How can the system be closed if theyre still unloading trucks?! ILL NEVER COME BACK HERE, AND YOU SHOULD THINK TWICE AND READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE ACCEPTING AMY LOADS GOING TO THIS PLACE! If you have to come, take a picture of the load your delivering before backing into the dock, because theyll damage it and blame you!

I highly recommend just showing up on time or within 15 minutes at least. Always quick for me to unload here. The CITY not mclane is requesting till the 31st of October 2018 not to park on the east side or rather directly across from the facility on kibby road. but the west side is fine theres a turn around if you pass the gaurd shack headed nb (shack on your left) before the train tracks to your right thus pointing you south. Easy facility and doors to back into. Everyone is always profetional here. If you have a bad experience you either need a shower or a better attitude. This is one of the best mclane dc s to get in and out of a personal favorite among this companys locations

Marcia who is in-charge of applications from people seeking to work for Mclane in Merced CA uses her position to do favoritism. She accepts her friends and family members and if you are not in that bond, happens to apply and later call her to know about your application, she will talk to you in a rude manner and after few seconds, you will receive email that you are no longer considered for the position. Please, the company cooperate should check on that and put someone that has the intention of working for everybody not for her own selfish interest.

Actually one of the better mclane that I have been to.. usually mclane takes forever to unload you but this one is pretty fast

Some security guard have beautiful manners other are very rude and stupid.

Customer service is terrible, theyre always grumpy, I get placed on hold and then transfer me to an empty desk, then the lady freaks out on me for calling an empty desk. Can never understand their accent. Can never get the right info. Always get the wrong product. Then I have to take losses because I cant sell it. The drivers are the only ones that care about their job. Everyone else here sucks.

Appointment was at 5pm I came at 4pm and waiting for the door. At 6:36pm I gotta door and they asked for $304 lumper fee. I called to broker for t-check and waiting in the office for the express code after 25 minutes they came to me and return bills and said your appointment is canceled because you were late pay for lumper. I never seen like that for my 20 years driving experience. Will never comeback

Horrible relationship with this organization... They continually damage products that we delivered to their warehouse. Management never willing to take responsibility. Tried numerous things to fix problems that supposedly we caused. Ended up getting our products USDA inspected and stamped in order to prove that damaged product was occurring at the facility.

Do not come to this place regret ur whole life..one of the worst place ever seen. Bring your breakfast lunch and dinnercame here at 11 am and still here at 7pm .....still at the dock .....trailer doors open and reefer running at 0will refuse to pick for this place

Had a 7pm appointment time. Arrived at 5:35pm and checked in with guard. Was told to park and wait for a phone call. 9pm, no call so i call the guard shack. Was told to be patient, they were running behind and would call me when they were caught up and had a door available. Midnight, no call, so i call back and get told, yeah, we called you but you didnt answer your phone so you have to reschedule your appointment for two days time. long story short, i got NO calls and they acted like they couldnt care less that i was sitting here for two days losing revenue. If you can avoid this place, do so like the plague.
