The BEST hardwood guy in Memphis!! We have remodeled most of our home and have worked with numerous contractors. This guy is so good I wish he provided other services outside of hardwood. Memphis has a ton of shady service providers but this guy is not one of them.Not only is he highly professional in how he runs his business, but the quality of work and knowledge he has is unmatched. He offers affordable prices and always returns calls. His workers are extremely efficient and get the job done! Our floors look beautiful, we have the original wood from 1967 in our home (so these floors have seen better days…scratches, paint etc). Luis and his crew are great!. They are very punctual and hardworking. I had water damage to an area of my living room and they replaced that and weaved it into the rest of the flooring beautifully. I cannot even see where the bad area was. Luis recommended that I change the stain color because it was outdated. He applied six different colors to my flooring and explained the different colors in each one. He was very knowledgeable and helped me chose the right stain. It turned out to be perfect! I am so glad that I picked Classic Hardwood Floors and would definitely use their services again!

Our wood floor was ripped out in order to solve a sewage line problem. Our floor was torn,  scratched and we were emotionally drained. We meet with multiple contractors.  At the end we decided to hire Luis and his crew at Classic Hardwood Floors and we are so happy we did! They are artists! Im not kidding! Look at the pictures. We are so impressed with the quality and attention to detail. We originally had one room with the original pegged hardwood. The rest of the rooms were plywood. Sean and his guys came in and worked their magic. The new floors and the old floor match seamlessly, and they added the pegs. I smile every time I walk in the door.

We just had our 17+ year old hardwood floors refinished by Classic Hardwood Floors and it was a great experience. Our old floors were scratched, dented, and faded in several areas but they were they were able to correct all of these issues. Now our floors look brand new. The whole process took about four days for the type of finish we chose, and it was worth it. The crew was prompt, attentive, and professional, and the cost was very reasonable. I highly recommend them.

We had our floors done twice because of defects in the work being done by another company. Classic Hardwood Floors came in and they did excellent work and with the upmost care for our home. They took precautions the other company neglected to do. Not only that they explain the entire process from start to finish. I highly recomend them for your flooring needs.

Previous owners of the home had left several water damaged areas and we had been told by other companies that it was not repairable. I had used Sean before in my older house and the job was done to perfection. So when I bought a new home, he was the first call I made after the offer was made. He kept to the schedule as best as you can with variables. Most importantly was his teams attention to details. Fantastic experience. Luis listens to your input and comes up with a plan that meets your needs. They replaced my entire formal dining room wood due to water damage. He was able to match the new wood with the rest of my downstairs which was a tough job because the previous builder used a non-normal mix of oak planks. Then they sanded and refinished my entire downstairs, plus the stairs for a reasonable rate. He did not upcharge me because I live in Germantown like a few other companies will do. They were a trustworthy group of guys I was able to trust with the key to my house while they did the job. I would definitely use them again.

The owners of Classic Hardwoods were quick to respond to my request for an estimate, worked with me schedule the work and best of all did an AMAZING job. The house we bought was 92 years old with the original oak that hadnt been taken the best care of and there were parts that needed to be replaced and refitted. The guys did great work and showed us plenty of samples in different areas of the house until we were completely satisfied with our choice. The floors came out looking even better than we had imagined and they were on time and under budget. The only thing I would change would be to have them use the HEPA filter while sanding. Our house was vacant when the work was done and there was a decent amount of dust left on an horizontal surface. Not a big deal and was expected when every square inch of the floor in your house is wood and ALL of it was getting worked on. I wouldnt hesitate at all to have them to work on our next house or the houses of anyone of my friends and family.

Before going with CHF I did a ton of research and had several people come give me estimates on replacing my carpet stairs and putting hardwood down.
