Let me preface this by saying I had previously given a bad review due to lack of communication prior to install. Don listened & was quick to resolve. We had our windows installed & the team lead by Roberto was excellent! They were professional, hardworking & fast. There are a few small quality issues (from manufacturer) but they are working quickly to resolve. I would highly recommend this company. They did 22 windows and we could not be more pleased.

These guys did an amazing job on my house. We had 20 windows replaced and was amazed at how fast they did it. Very professional install crews, sales was very straight forward no gimmicks or high pressure tactics, and all at a fair price, and the windows look great. For a job that requires quite a bit of mess getting old windows out, these guys left no mess when they were done and paid very good attention to detail on their trim detail work, caulking etc. They even replaced some of my rotted wood that they had to remove to get the old windows out which was awesome. If you have to get windows replaced, save yourself some time and headache and just go to these guys first

We recently used Don and The Window Source of Memphis to replace 23 windows and 2 doors in our home and have been exceptionally pleased with both the process and results. At the time of our first meeting with Don, we had already met with several other contractors/salesmen and had quickly become disenchanted with the prices being offered, the lack of quality products being presented, the intense sales tactics being used, or some combination of all three. From our first meeting with Don, we were very impressed with his products, his extensive experience, and his patience with our many questions. He spent several hours walking us through his different product lines and demonstrating how and why his windows worked. His was also the only quote we received that had itemized prices for each product and service fee so we walked away from the meeting with a solid understanding of exactly what our project would cost and how we could make adjustments to suit our budget. We ultimately decided to work with Don because he didnt pressure us, his prices were reasonable, his products were exceptional, and also because his status as a TVA licensed contractor meant that we could take advantage of the energy savings rebates offered through TVAs eScore program. Once we committed to using Don, he stayed in touch and gave us regular updates on the status of our order and plans for installation. Everything came together right on the timeline hed given us and when we had to make a few minor changes to our order due to manufacturer capabilities, Don worked with us on the cost to make sure things didnt far exceed his original estimate. Since the projects been completed, weve found that were very happy with both the quality of the products and the installation work of Dons team. We were initially hesitant to replace our original 1950s wood windows with vinyl, but the aesthetic value and functionally of the 9000 series windows have far exceeded our expectations. We also opted to replace 2 entry doors with mid-range ProVia doors and we have been very happy with those as well; Dons crew even went the extra mile in reattaching some original trim on the exterior of one door so that the appearance of our front porch is now enhanced without losing its original charm. The owner is a very busy man for a reason - they are good at what they do. Don the owner spent a lot of time getting me just what I wanted. Dons installer team was great to watch in action. Ive done my research before I called Window Source. I found out they are using windows manufactured by Great Lakes Windows, which have good products. Don and his people were very easy to deal with from the beginning to the very end. Not pushy, patient and responsive. They replaced all 22 windows in our house. The work is clean quick and good. Ill highly recommend them to my friends.

5 stars all the way! Don is a real people person and I was impressed from our initial phone conversation all the way until the completion of the work. The demo and presentation was thorough and communication was always easy. The window order came in the amount of time advised and we were scheduled for an installation date immediately. The team arrived on time and the installation process was professional. Im very happy with my new energy efficient windows. This is was an ideal experience.

Don and his crew came personally recommended, and with all the exceptional reviews, I was confident Window Source was a safe choice. Unfortunately, this did not prove to be the case. After the installation, the crew left behind a real mess: broken glass scattered throughout my yard, large slivers of wood all over the house, and there were even two pieces of metal that fell into my garbage disposal. After speaking with Don, he sent the crew back to clean things up outside, yet all of the broken glass and other materials remained.Furthermore, the crew cracked the molding on one of my window frames.Most disconcerting is the fact that I have not noticed a change in my utility bill. Don assured me that I would come Summer, but admittedly I have my doubts. Additionally—and perhaps my expectations are too high—but small insects are able to somehow get inside the windows (this was one of my primary reasons for considering new windows, in the first place).I hate being the one negative review here, but this was my honest experience. I rarely spend this kind of money, and I very much regret doing so here.So, unfortunately, I will be the single voice here saying that I could not confidently recommend Don and his crew.

We just bought new windows from the Window Source of the Mid South and they finished installing them on May the 16th of 2019. We like the windows very much. There was one small glitch in measuring. I called Don who came out and looked at it, he admitted they made the mistake he immediately called and ordered us a new one. (NO PROBLEMS ). I REALLY LIKE THAT.!!! Last winter pushed me over the edge. With original windows over 50+ yrs old..it was time to replace. Spent a couple of months researching & getting 6 different bids. We could not be more pleased with our choice. From the no pressure sales presentation to giving us referrals to homes they had finished (so we could look at their work) to the awesome installation team. We had every window (total of 19) replaced. We also had 3, 4ft wide sliding glass doors turned into 2 large, slider picture windows. This involved some construction work... building the wall up from the floor to frame out the windows. It turned out beautifully and everyone who sees is impressed with the result. I know this from all the oohs & ahhhs! Don even came out today when I thought something was wrong with one of the windows. Nothing wrong at all..just user error on my part. I purchased my windows this past spring. I’ve definitely noticed my MLGW bills have been much lower and the windows look great. When they installed the windows I was told when it’s hot or cold outside I can place my hand on the interior window and it will feel like the interior temp of my home. I’m a sceptic It’s bone wet chilly out today and the wind is blowing hard. My house is warm so I put what they said to the test. My windows are warm to the touch just like they said it would be. I am not bundled up in warm clothes just to save money. My house is warm while it’s cold outside. Thank you Window Source!

I spoke with Don Buchan at The Window Source, and decided on purchasing new windows from him in April, 2016. And he gave me a good competitive price. I brought 12 new windows and I am so glad I did. I did not realize my house was losing so much energy. It is so much cooler now. I love the different look the windows have given the outside of my house. I was very pleased with the salesman/owner-Don Buchan, his secretary, Roberto and his other installers. You dont have to clean up behind these guys, they are even good at that. I have a really old house . Need pretty much everything replaced . I filled out a form online last year for Windows . Mr. Don from window source called me . At first I was not interested. June 2015-We had new windows put in the first part of March. Now that it’s been 2 months after installation we continue to be impressed. With our old windows, I didn’t open the south curtains in the big picture window, for the afternoon. Now, I can open them in the morning and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Then in the evening, I had to close our bedroom west curtains, because the bedroom would get too hot. Now they stay open all day long! We got the 9000 series because we wanted white inside, beige outside. Our old windows had a broken seal in the double pane. I didn’t realize we could save so much in the heat coming in. And the new windows silence a lot of outside noise. The train is nearly silent, where previously we hear it more frequently. We are very excited about our new windows! Don was a very knowledgeable salesman and easy to work with. He explained a lot of information about the new windows. We’re so glad we have these energy efficient windows! The price was very economical and the quality of the window is the highest.We live in a house built in 1991 and had 10 windows replaced. The new windows in our home are amazing. I didn’t care about double or single-hung, but now I understand how much nicer it is to have them be double-hung. We had two old casement windows side by side, in our bedroom and the mull in the middle was removed. It was replaced with one slider window. It is very nice. We also had two side-by side, single-hung windows that were also replaced with a slider, after removing the mull in the middle. We had two picture windows in the breakfast room and we replaced one of them with a slider. It is really nice to have a big window that opens now!Between the highest and lowest quotes from 5 different window companies, there was a difference of $6,000. The Window Source was in the lower range of the quotes, so I paid less money and also got very good quality windows.These windows are guaranteed for the lifetime of the homeowner, no matter how they break or are damaged. Obviously not to intentionally break the windows…. The Window Source is a national company and stand by their windows. They will transfer the lifetime warranty to a second homeowner.I did not realize my old windows were heating up our house so much until Don showed me their windows with Argon Gas inside. Most of the windows made now have Argon Gas inside. I wouldn’t go back now that I know it exists.We moved in 13 years ago and the seal was broken between the double pane in many windows . I was also tired of our wooden windows sticking and not opening. They would always have moisture between the two panes of glass, when the weather changed outside. These vinyl windows open very smoothly and of course do not have a moisture problem!It is also very convenient to open the windows and clean them on both sides. They are very clear and crisp. I didn’t understand how everything would fit together or look, for them to remove our old windows, and put in the new ones. But now I see how the new windows just look like they belong and like they came with the house. They caulked between the frame and the new window. That helped it look natural.On the South Side of our house, we have 2 rooms that would get really hot, but now I can open the curtains in the morning and the rooms are the same temperature as the rest of the house, all day long. It really is great! The new windows also help dampen sound from outside A LOT more than the original windows. I guess I want everyone to have these good windows. It really is worth the money! It really is.Then along with a great price to purchase and install them, the E-Score evaluator came and approved everything and we get $25 a window back!
