I gave this 5 stars for no particular reason. I worked out of the Nashville hub for 23 years. The last 6 as a tractor-trailer driver who often went to all the Memphis hubs. To @Monique, Ill say tracking isnt what it used to be. Even for me as a former UPSer, I have become frustrated. Online you now see less information than you could a year ago. I have no idea why. It should get better progressively every day. To @Bria who said they paid for Next Day Air and it didnt get delivered after 5 days, you may have paid for it, but that doesnt mean the shipper, whoever that was, selected that service and even if they did, that doesnt mean they processed and pulled your order immediately. So you should take up your disgruntlement with them. It may not be at all UPS fault in that instance. Im not defending UPS, nor promoting them. But too many people dont understand a lot of this stuff which is quite understandable for anyone who doesnt work for any of these delivery companies.

Their customer service was very horrible. Not only was the service poor from the employees, but from the security supervisor as well. Instead of them helping me find ways to receive my package after I incorrectly put an invalid address on there, they decided to blame me for the error and didn’t try to find various ways to help me resolve the issue.

Items ordered online and shipped UPS. Everything was going great, I was able to track items right up until the arrived in Memphis. Tracking no longer showed an expected delivery date, and the only info I could get was that my items were being held for a future delivery date. Three days. My items took longer in Memphis than they did in any other part of the shipping process and I lost the ability to track. I did eventually get my packages but to receive a message that my shipment would arrive a day early only to be lost for 3 days 15 minutes from my house was so frustrating.

I placed an order for something on June 19 it arrived at the oak haven hub on June 22 and it’s now July 5th and I’m still waiting on it to be deliveredUPDATE: it has been 20 days and my package has still not been delivered to me, I did as the response recommended and reached out to UPS via Twitter and they told me they don’t have my package and it’s still at the oak haven facility I’m beyond unhappy with the run around I seem to be getting I originally thought it was getting delayed because of the hurricane and holiday weekend but this is Beyond me it was scheduled for delivery on JUNE 24th and it’s now July 13th and no one knows where my package is and no one seems to really care as if it’s not their job to get a package from point A to Point B

I am trying to track a package. I get the automated agent, which in itself is a joke. It can tell you what I can see online, but it cant tell me why my package is being delayed. We shipped on the 13th of May today is May 25th. The last status was on May 17th. All I want is for someone to tell me, what the hold up is. But NO!!! I ask for an agent, Ah that is not happening. UPS insults our intelligence with this automated agent who only infuriates me and I know no more than I did then I started. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! thats a joke, you know that right!!!

I paid for next day shipping and I still haven’t received my package after 5 days. There is no live help available. My tracking has not been updated. My Valentine’s Day gift is late! I am disappointed and I deserve a refund of my next day air fee.

This sorry excuses of mail carries have never delivered a package on time for me. Ever. Today they straight up drove by my house with my package. After already being 3 days late. They made a delivery right around the corner, gave me the update they were going to make my delivery, and then updated it to push it back another day. What a joke of a company.

For 2 days their site shows they “tried” to deliver. Someone has been home and OUTSIDE both days yet no one has even driven down this street. This is why I prefer FedEx. When you call they act like you’re lying then tell you “someone will all you”. Still waiting for said call. They are HORRIBLE!

I am 47 years old. I have lived in 6 major cities. I currently live in Northern Mississippi. I have lived here for going on 5 years. I am also a truck driver that used to deliver items for UPS and USPS for RR Donnelly. This is the WORST UPS center in this entire country!My mother sends packages from up in Detroit to both me in Mississippi and my brother in California. My brother in California is 2291 miles from Detroit vs. 707 miles to me in Mississippi. My brother ALWAYS gets his packages first. Mine ALWAYS sits in Memphis for at least two days! I’ve seen it set for a week while we made phone call after phone call trying to figure out what the delay is. I know what the delay is! What? Are you people in this center the laziest people in the United States??I have a package right now that has been sitting at this location since 0847 this morning. (Tuesday) The delivery date isn’t until Thursday. Are you serious?? ALL of my packages get massively delayed with UPS whenever it comes through Memphis.I have lived in Detroit, Cleveland, Nashville, Columbus, & Cincinnati. Memphis is THE worst I’ve ever seen. Why don’t you people get off your friggin butts and do your dang jobs?!?!? OR IS THAT JUST TOO MUCH TO ASK??

I dont enjoy coming here, because that USUALLY means something happened to my package that wasnt suppose to happen. This time I had to put it on hold because they were trying to deliver it while I was out of town and my apartment office was closed (so after 5:30pm), and its rather expensive so I couldnt let it get sent back to the shipper after the 3rd delivery attempt. So I had it put on hold.I was told I could pick it up between specific dates. On the first night, they couldnt find it. Even tried looking in the hub. They couldnt find it. Same thing the second day. Thankfully they managed to locate it by the third day, but Im a more patient and forgiving person than most. No one wants to hear that their packages cant be found, and I was definitely not the only one there with that problem.The saving grace in all of this is that the ladies trying to help me out were both very nice, and probably went a bit above and beyond what was really necessary, considering they didnt have it with them yet. So that was wonderful.Christmastime just isnt when people want to hear their packages cant be found.

There is a gentleman that works as a UPS driver in the Memphis area and he is a very nice guy and I just wanted to let the company know, Terrence Rush is his name when he delivers my medicine if Im not home he will bring it next door to my job. When I first start receiving my medicine through the mail I wasnt home didnt know I had to sign for it. It was not delivered because I wasnt home. He brought it to me when he got off work and that was so sweet of him. He deserves twotwo 👍👍 up now that is a deciated worker.

If you have a package to pick up make sure you have more then a drivers license. Make sure you have a company badge, business card on hand or a Google account. Website to show clerk. She gave me a hard time to pick up my company package.The next time I called the UPS store on Suwanee in Memphis TN to correct the delivery address because the company who sent the delivery forgot to place my address suite number. It was easier to call she put a new shipping label on the package and it was delivered the next day.You would think if you show up with your government ID THAT WOULD BE ENOUGH evidence.I could be anyone telephoning to get a package thats not mine. She has a nasty attitude.

Horrible service at this location. They did not want to give me MY package after showing proof of residence. Showed light bill, license, car insurance. I do not live at that address and the last month there was May which was the last light bill. And they wanted a current bill when I NO LONGER LIVE THERE! This sucks that we had to go through all of this because we use UPS for all of our shipping. So disappointed in this location. Plus the ladies there were no help at all.July 10 @ 8:20pm

Nothing special about this location. The customer service representatives were knowledgable and courteous as should be expected. The building is not extremely visible from the street and parking can get sketchy but it aint their fault I suppose.

Unbelievably incompetent.It really is astonishing how bad these people are at their job. You would think that reading an address, and then delivering a package there would not be rocket science. Yet, somehow, this is beyond the mental capacity of the average UPS employee.You will have a greater chance at your package actually getting where it is supposed to go by tying your package to a trained monkey and telling it where to go in Latin.If it were possible to rate UPS with negative stars I would.

UPS customer service was designed for the internal users of the web site. When you place your package on HOLD the website DOES NOT say where the package is being held. You have to go through the mechanical process of the unattended phone service to reach an attendant to then find out where your package is.If you are holding the package then tell TELL the CUSTOMER which station is holding the package on the web site when you updated the status saying it is on HOLD.It is automation so lets use it and make the customer happy.

The ladies at the UPS Customer Service Center were awesome. They helped me with every step of getting my Xmas packages boxed up and off to family in other states. To bad they dont make the deliveries, the box to my son and family in Dallas was lost/misdelivered or stolen, no one seems to know which. The others made it ok, but two of three is not acceptable.

My package was late arriving (scheduled to arrive at the facility on Wed. by 5pm) and then never arrived at my home by the scheduled Thur. end of day delivery. I contacted UPS several times. Heres how it went....Call one...your package is lost in transit but its too early to try and track it. Call two...your package is in a trailer in Knoxville (near me) but hasnt been scanned in yet because we have thousands of packages to deliver. Call three...your package is in Memphis on a trailer for the past day and a half, and we have thousands of packages to deliver so well get to it on a first come first serve basis. Call four...your package will be delivered to Knoxville Friday evening but we wont be scanning it in until late Sunday and if youre lucky you will receive it on Monday, but you can call the hotline and request an early am delivery upgrade since its late already. Last call (to hotline)...yes, we sometimes offer that upgrade but not in this case.How sad. Very disappointing and will never use again. As of this writing (Saturday), my package is still sitting in Memphis. Unless youre Amazon (despite being a Prime member myself, this package came from a non-Amazon vendor), I guess you go to the back of the line on not only delivery, but customer service.

I had over 800.00 in wholesale products to be delivered. I was not home and the delivery driver chose to take the product back and not leave it at a zip location which was less than a mile from my home, causing it to be returned. I missed out on 1600.00 dollars in sales. Please dont use the lazy U P S service. I will forever be a FedEx Shipping Woman! Brown never again!

Asked UPS to hold package there for pickup, 2-3 days prior to delivery date. Received a call that my package was ready for pickup. Got there and my name was tagged to someone elses package and they could not locate my item. Was told to come back that evening and it should be there. Arrived later, and the staff on have was not even a aware of my situation and still could not find my package.After missing my delivery date, I had them return the item back to the shipper.

What a terrible experience. I paid extra for three day shipping, and the package won’t arrive for 7 days. Ruined my Christmas surprise for my wife. Was on hold for 20 minutes after dealing with a frustrating automated system. Then when I said I would drive the 2+ hours to the location where my package will be sitting for 3 days, they said I wouldn’t be allowed to get my package that I paid for and paid extra to have them deliver. Called multiple numbers to try to contact someone directly at the location. Got bad numbers, busy signals, and voicemails (during business hours). When I did get a real person, they transferred me to another voicemail. Try FedEx.

The website states they will make 3 attempts to deliver a package. We were never notified of any attempt. A phone call was made to inform me I could pick it up. I picked it up the next day after receiving a phone call. I received a notice in the mail two days later stating 3 attempts were made. Its difficult to believe all 3 notices for attempted delivery were mysteriously missing. Especially considering someone is home during the day.

If I could give a quarter star I would! Very bad customer service - calls are routed overseas and people are impossible to understand!!! My son was supposed to get a 2 packages today - they delivered one and sent a message that they couldnt find the address to deliver the other?????? I spoke to the first person who typed out directions for the driver and told me to have my son wait by his phone for the next hour for a phone call. Two hours later - NO PHONE CALL! Next call - customer service says they have the directions, it is on the truck and will be there by the end of the day. 3 hrs later - NO PACKAGE AND THEY ARE CLOSED!!!! Foreign customer service person says - cant help me, package will come sometime tomorrow, no way to tell where package is. This is freaking ridiculous!!!! Last time I use UPS!

Couldnt find my address. How stupid can you be? I was delayed two days getting my contacts and couldnt see!!! Had already delivered to my address in January for the same thing. Get a GPS!
