Fed Ex deserves zero stars for sticking it to small businesses in the aftermath of Hurricane Ida. Representatives made sure to emphasize Fed Ex was a big company with plenty of power. Charging customers for a service that was not provided should illegal. Charging for First Overnight Saturday deliver which was provided 15 days later is the just wrong and using weather to justify it. Please anyone reading use the other delivery service as they all ran into delivery issues with the Hurricane however others besides Fed Ex were very understanding and worked through the challenges to move forward while Fed Ex kicks you when you are down.

I dont expect to see my merchandise. I hope they are ready for my petty.Update 7/14 - was informed my package cant be found. Im sure it was STOLEN. This place is horrible. Im going to look into what agency oversees these type of facilities and file a complaint. I will encourage everyone I know to avoid FedEx completely no matter where they are. Have delivered for federal express for many years. Until today, that little rent a cop that thinks he has the right to wake me up. I now will refuse loads. People think you have the right to wake a sleeping trucker need to learn the law........ it is a federal law not to wake a sleeping trucker. You can ask my co driver for my ID but not wake me. Lucky I did not drop trailer at gate and leave right there. I hope someone reads this that can bring this to the right person. I am pretty sure that rent a cops last name was Warren but not 100% on that.
I sent a package next day service that included a labeled perishable item! Guess what it did not arrive through next day service. The items were completed destroyed! I attempted to contact a manager only to be routed to the global center where I was transferred to a customer service advocate and refused the request to speak to a manager. STAY AWAY FROM FEDEX. Their services are at ground zero!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AWFUL.COM!!!!!!!!! O I heard chickens or crows in the background while I speaking to the customer service representative!!!!! My package has been in limbo at the Memphis, TN, hub for two business days now. I can only assume it’s because of lazy workers who are more concerned with effin around on their phones and sticking their thumbs up their a$$es. It’s funny how you can predict a delay before it occurs based on which FedEx hub you know it’s going through. If my vendor didn’t use FedEx, I wouldn’t have to deal with them. Maybe I am psychic?
Terrible job completely unprofessional with all of their work. Had a package that was paid for overnight delivery. It has been 3 weeks. I would recommend to never use fed ex. I would be embarrassed if I had some of these people working for me. These people are ruining FedEx one day at a time.
My husband and I were suppose to receive an express package TODAY September 20th from our bank. Our package is still sitting there in Memphis since yesterday Sunday the 19th).When I called them 4 time’s (I was hung up on 3 time’s) to find out why it is still sitting there, I was given the run around! We’ve never ever have had issues with FedEx until now. When I told the lady that the express package was from our bank she was like “oh well”! I thought Express is overnight??? Not sit on it because you can and want too! She didn’t want to look for it or anything! Now my bank is worried because of the paperwork and if it’s not here in Arkansas by tomorrow, they will be contacting them.

My boyfriend mailed out a package at 1:45 this past Saturday September 11th paid over $200 to have it shipped overnight okay I can understand Sunday no delivery idk why but my package was supposed to be here Monday by noon here it is Tuesday at 4:45 and my package is still in Memphis it is been there since Sunday morning at 7:35 I was told it should finally maybe be here tomorrow by 12 nobody can tell us exactly what has happened and why the package is so delayed. They did say but they would reimburse our money that we paid to have it shipped Priority Overnight. I dont think thats good enough since there are very important things in this package I needed by Monday at the latest. I would never recommend FedEx. Fingers 🤞 my package arrives tomorrow. Unexceptable from a huge company like this.

I now know that if any of my packages come through Memphis and is immediately delayed upon reaching my distribution center in my state that the package was either stolen or lost. I have had multiple packages come through this distribution center that are all indefinitely delayed. My lastest one is a food product so chances are its already expired. I had a blu-ray come through this distribution center with my food parcel and the dvd made it through because I am watching it now. Its quicker if I just place a second order even though its costs me and pray that it makes it through this distribution center. But FedEx has become less and less reliable and when you call customer service its just the same ol your package was delayed due to X reason. Yeah its either stolen or lost which is why I have multiple packages still in FedExs system months later. I still have the tracking numbers to these and they are still in delayed status.

I have spent 100+ on a shipment to be expedited to me before I leave for out of town and I have called and called these people and all I get is sorry mam we have placed a trace on your item but it may take an additional 2 weeks. Hard earned Money is not easy to come by plus my order will be irrelevant at that point. Im so so hurt and disappointed.
I regularly have large orders shipped by FedEx US to GB, Economy shipping never takes longer than a week, usually takes 1 day to arrive at the World Hub, and departs the next day, tracking is up to date and customs brokerage and clearance is all taken care of for a small fee of £12.50. Thanks FedEx!
I sent my Sentimental Guitar I have had for 30 years (THAT MY DEAD FRIEND GAVE ME), shipped from CA to NJ over 8 days ago. Delayed to to weather 7 days ago. I have called FED EX every single day and cant get any answers as to where my guitar is. WHERE IS THE MANAGEMENT OF FED EX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I WANT MY GUITAR! This is by far the WORST Hub. Id trust a kid on a schwinn to do a better job than this absolute cluster of chaos. USPS and UPS packages never have an issue getting to my house on time... FedEx, however, is doing a FANTASTIC job if they get it here within a month of the scheduled delivery date. This hub or the overall sorting hubs in Memphis are letting the reputation of fedex down badly. This locations need to take serious corrective action and take priority on all living animal shipments.You are paid very well for the cost of animals to be shipped and supported by this hub. Time sensitive live fish were shipped through this hub and were to be delivered by 12pm in Florida. It’s now 6pm and nothing more than an arrival scan has happened. Apparently several people have had the same experience. Do better, can’t blame covid forever.

I am a employee of fedex express at the federal express world hub i got Hired 2 weeks ago it is a good company to work they do travel all 50 States including the all US cites in ever country we do deliver UPS eBay and Amazon packages also United States postal service boxes as well diversity is being appreciate of different backgrounds and culture.
The service FedEx provides to their customers is non-existent and they do not care. I have never seen such terrible customer service here in the USA. It is best if everyone avoids using them and either they go out of business or are forced to improve their customer service.

One of worst work flow mechanism my packet got stuck due to bad weather, once the weather cleared they don’t want to attend the packets that are impacted rather would only take care the regular traffic, looks like the ones that get stuck are cursed and will never be out of sin, people work there have no feelings for human emotions. Avoid avoid avoid this incompetent hub. Every international shipment is delayed for at least a week. You spend enormous amounts to ship internationally, paying extra for priority services and all you get from this hub is delays, excuses and the lies about weather conditions. They are simply slow, unorganized and short staffed (special thanks to ... for writing checks ) Avoid at any cost.

Had a package From California to NJ standard overnight. Well it made it from California to Fed Ex hub in Tennessee in 1 day. Now it’s been sitting here in Memphis TN for days with no details, no additional scans no information. If you are backed up and didn’t lose my package say that. Don’t just leave customers wondering if their package is lost. Customer service just tells you there’s delays but they have no clue. Avoid using Fed Ex if you have other options. I don’t have these poor experiences using UPS or USPSThat being said Fed Ex needs some extreme process improvements.

I thought it was just the weather that had delayed it but after 2 weeks, I called them and they told me it was considered “lost.” After reading the reviews of a dozen incidences of similar cases of smartphones that were shipped to or through this FedEx, and packages with IPhones found opened and empty, I have high confidence that my phone was stolen.
Knowing that their hub is down they are still taking 2 day shipping orders knowing they cant deliver. This is fraud. I paid extra to receive my items quicker and if through no fault of my own I dont have them there should be compensation. I have had multiple packages shipped and delivered by FedEx, and although they charge more than most, its been flawless most of the time. They are punctual and update you accordingly.Unfortunately, this last round has shown me a different side of FedEx. My package is still in Customs waiting to be cleared is what I continue to hear. This was after they told me it was in transit to my local hub. It was supposed to be here over 1 week ago and I am losing money everyday it sits in theirwarehouse, not to mention the extra money paid for expedited international shipping. All of that, and the worst part of all is that no one has offered these updates. And, the fact that its still in Memphis even though the tracking says its held up at my local hub... I only found this out when I traveled to my local Hub and the kind gentleman there informed me they had not received it, and that the information I was seeing on the App was not correct.Everyone who has helped me has been kind and taken their time with me but no one has been able to resolve the issue and no one has called me back regarding my package, even though they said they would three different times now. Im beginning to wonder how far up the food chain I have to go before I receive some definitive answers, receive a real update, and am compensated for their lack of communication.

Paid for priority overnight from Myrtle Beach to Charlotte. Package ended up in Memphis and has been there for since February 14th. No updates, no status, talking to someone gets you absolutely nowhere. There are 6 items stuck there from my company and thus is costing us big $$$. Will we be compensated in any way? Nope. Ive wasted hundreds of dollars for overnight shipping only for my packages to arrive as if I shipped ground. You can refund me anytime FedEx!! Bottom line...FedEx is a joke.

Very unorganized facility.Lady at the gate(second check in) was very rude and unprofessional Today is 24.Feb. 2021 8:30 pm).We left our trailer today 11am still not unloaded They said come back tomorrow at 10 am to CHECK again(imagine that).We asked nicely to leave a phone number to receive an update for unloading and They sturt laughing at Us .They were like go out We dont take your phone numbers You need to come and check again tomorrow.This is endless unloading procedure and for sure nightmare for truck drivers.I an very disappointed with employees in this facility as l mentioned before in this review,please let Them know how We should be treated by you employees.
I ordered an iPhone 12 on February 18, and it still has not been delivered. When I ordered it said it would be a 2 day delivery. I tried calling them and all I got was an automated message. Avoid shipping through FedEx at all cost. They are the worst shipping company out there, I wish I had a choice to not have my phone be delivered through them.
Southaven, MS to Memphis, TN (12 mins away) took four.... days.... without updates. Laughable! I always hated how FedEx doesn’t update for days on end... Fedex/TNT delivered a package from the EU addressed to my business in Florida in the USA instead to a business in a city in Mexico. The receiver returned it to Fedex in Memphis TN where it arrived on 31 October and has not been properly delivered to me since, where it is valued under $300. Fedex now has an unacceptable standard of service.

I have a gate that keeps record of gate code usage. The drivers will lie and say delivery attempt made when they never even tried to deliver the package. Lazy, incompetent and just to preoccupied to be bothered with doing their job. I wish I could give -10 stars.

FedEx is seriously the worst. My brother sent my drivers license and payroll check to me from Ohio to New Orleans. He used overnight express delivery. The package had a guaranteed arrival time of 7/28/2020 by 8pm. When I called to check on the status after it was not received by this time, I was told it was in Memphis and was delayed due to flooding in New Orleans. This information was false, which I knew because I was in New Orleans and there was no flooding or airline delays. After calling back multiple times over multiple days I was given a plethora of different reasons for the delay— flooding in Memphis (false), flight delays in Memphis due to weather (false), staffing issues due to COVID (possibly true), mechanical delays, back-ups in movement of packages (possibly true), and finally that my package was lost (also possibly not true since the last person I spoke to stated it was scanned being put on a crate for shipment from Memphis to New Orleans).It is now 7/31 and I still have not received my express overnight package that was mailed on 7/27 with a delivery date of 7/28. I have had to change my flight four different times. Miss my first week of work as a travel therapist in California, volunteering to go to the front lines to provide desperately needed care during the pandemic. And they still are not able to guarantee that my package will actually depart Memphis tonight. That’s just what is “supposed” to happen.When my brother called to request a refund of his shipping fee he was told that no refunds are being issued after March 18th and there is not service guarantee. Proceed with caution if you ship via FedEx. A post card that my friend sent with a .35¢ postcard stamp arrived in New Orleans from Denver in a more timely manner than this $50 express shipment from FedEx.

They kept asking me to call me back and without any responsibility just said they lost my package. It was a personalized airpods pro. My package needed to arrive in Jonesboro, AR before the weekend, so I called to try and make that happen. A customer service agent told me to travel to The Hub in Memphis to collect the package. I travelled there and was told that I needed to speak to customer service again to try and locate the package. after talking to several different people for hours, I was informed that I had wasted my time and money to drive all the way here. The guard at the security station for FedEx was extremely rude for the entire encounter. I intended to file a report, so I asked for his name and information. He denied me that and proceeded to cover his badge and hide inside. The other armed guard also refused to give me any information on either person. The entire thing left a bad taste in my mouth.

Excellent place to work. It is physically demanding though with a 4-5 hr work period feeling like an endurance marathon. However the benefits, training, and opportunities travel and pronotions are the best in the business.
This is the biggest employee for the city of Memphis! I spent 4 and a 1/2 years working the 3rd shift here as an offload material handler. I learned a lot & met some amazing people. Im currently working as a courier making the afternoon pickups & ❤ my job!

Dropped trailer at 10: am. asked to come back after 4 - 5 hours. while we are back after 5 hours they asked to come back in the morning. not professional
Take a tour here if you can. FedEx has their act together. Cant say too much, but I was really impressed with them as a company. Like a mini city at the airport. I always choose them over any other parcel delivery service. Keep it up, FedEx.
