Edited my review to lower it to 5 stars. My front yard has progressed well this year but I feel as if this company is not totally taking care of the back. My back yard is full of crabgrass but my front is totally opposite. I’m contemplating a switch

I did give you a call. The manager said he would have Mr. Throckmorton call me. After several days, he has not bothered to call me.

We use them for our weed prevention needs and they do a great job.

This year is the worst my yard has look. My neighbors get their yard treated by other companies and mines look the worst with weeds. Both companies treated their yards last week I am still waiting.

We have used southern spray for several years and have been happy with their service. However this year we have had a horrible outbreak of weeds worse than weve ever seen and I have called now four times and no one has come out to check or give us a treatment. I have also left a voicemail that was never returned. I feel like we have been customers for so long they are just taking us for granted.

My father had used southern spray for years on 3 homes. 5 years ago he passed away and that left 1 home. Mine. They have been so helpful withevery little question or concern. The manager has even come to house to give adviseI pay once a year and they are more than fair. They even spray a foot or so in neighbors yard, due to there only weeds there and they get in my yard. They r Awsome.

I recently called in a complaint about crabgrass and weeds. Southern Spray has sprayed our lawn since around 1995. Some years looked better than others and this year poanna and crabgrass was taking over. The spray tech came and talked with me and said he would take care of it. 1 1/2 months later my lawn is looking better than it ever has. THANK YOU !!!!

Guys, I have not had service with you in 5 years yet in 2020 in the middle of a pandemic I have a collection agency saying saying I owe about $100. I have not been contacted about this issue. Why wait 5 years so I dont have information going back that far to even dispute it. Clearly I cant recommend other people use this company if these are the tactics being used to try and squeeze money from people long after; tactics that include hurting someones credit that was paid up. If you feel the need to hurt my credit then this review can be my way of damaging your credit and reputation. Its clear to me that you do care about people as my phone number hasnt changed but I didnt receive any calls from you in 5 years about this issue.

We have been using Southern Spray for almost two years now and we could not be any happier with a lawn-spray service provider. We have three large dogs in our yard and Southern Spray always contacts us ahead of time so that we can make sure the dogs are in before they arrive. Their service tech is not only always courteous but always locks the back gate after he finishes spraying. And, just as important, they have transformed our lawns from weed infested to (almost) weed free. Their price is also competitive. We highly recommend them.

For the most part all is well. The only issue i had was with weeds growing next to my home as if they sprayed only in the middle of the yard and not all over. This is the second call on the concern over 6 months so i hoping it will get resolved this round. I just want my grass to look uniform all over without hitting and missing areas.

Southern sprays our office and it really looks good. They also spray my home. Like some others, the crabgrass is an issue, but the yard is really looking better. They are working on the issue with the crabgrass. I will upgrade my review when the crabgrass is eliminated.

Southern Spray has been treating my yard for years and they do a fantastic job! My lawn looks great and I dont have a single weed!

I called them more than a week ago to get the free estimate they promise on their website for a pretty significant sized field that needs to be cut. I was told that someone would be back in touch with me to schedule it. After not hearing back from them for a week, I called back to check in. I was told again by the person who took the call that someone would call back for me. Still nothing. When you consider there were several days in the past week when rainy weather meant they werent working, its even more surprising. Businesses pay for leads sometimes. Mine was a free lead that could develop into business. But apparently Im not important enough to merit a return call or the estimate they claim they will give you. If this is how Im treated as a prospective customer, I wonder how they will treat me when they have me locked up?

Ridiculous company. Their techs run off without finishing their work. Caught 1 tech doing nothing and sent them an email. No response for two months. Then I caught a different tech running off and made him finish the job. Management laughed it off like 2 months is a reasonable time for a response. I even paid and still nothing. Grass looks like shoot and they simply don’t care about doing good work. Gave them months to fix and I have txt messages just going “ok “ from them. Worst company In the 901 to deal with. Rotten from top to tech. Lied about contacts knowing there is email trails of proof Stay far away . Will post pics of the yard shortly

This is the worst and sloppiest company in the city. Do not use at all. The leave debris and broken supplies in your lawn and driveway. They are incredibly incompetent

I have been receiving weed and fertilizer treatment for a year now. Haven’t noticed any improvement. I called the last 3 days in a row to speak with someone about my dissatisfaction. The woman answering the phone says she’ll pass the message. The second and third day she says yes there is a callback placed out to whomever is supposed to call me. I said that they had until noon today to get back to me or risk losing my business. It’s now 1pm on day 3. They obviously have as little desire to provide customer service as they do provide a quality service.

Yard is looking better...but increase in crab grass...I can do a better job but my family paying for treatments

Wow this company is a joke can’t get their stuff together been waiting since April To get someone to check my backyard the grass notice the area was dying they did absolutely nothing even had the manager came out to look at it and blamed it on a bad winter give it some time it will get better Here we are in June and still been paying for this terrible company and I have no grass in my backyard it is pretty much dead and pretty much blamed it all on us needless to say I had nice grass for 3 to 4 years basically they ruined my backyard because they could not called to let someone know they were going to be coming that day so I could leave my back Gate open so basically waste of money if you pay this company

Always provides great service

After two years, 25% less grass! No communication, no suggestions about problems or what to do to fix problems. The worst spray company ever in existence! Sloppy work; aerated the lawn and left dirt all over the sidewalk and driveway. Suddenly did not have payment on file so sent it to collection in 60 days!!!! Never called, never knew until I heard from a collection agency for $76!!!!

I see why they have one star now. Now only will they spray your yard, but everything, including animals, in it. My dog saw them out front and went to see what was happening only to come running back soaked with weed killer. I hope they never come back.

They sprayed my yard 3 times this year and I have more weeds today than when they started. They called today and said they would spray it again. Lets see what happens. .
