The first time she came she dusted off one of the ceiling fans and left it in the floor and on the table. The next time she did not mop all of the floors

I wouldnt recommend their services as my experience couldnt be worse.. Charged me >300 bucks for one time cleaning.. Their 2-member team hardly cleaned my house for not more than 30 min and the quality of cleaning was so poor.. I sent them the photos of after cleaning and they agreed to send someone who hasnt showed up.. Id prefer to clean it myself than throwing my hard earned money to some poor quality service provider..

Scheduling with Amber was easy and accurate. Cleaner Ashley was friendly and professional. However, the service was expensive for 2 hours and several items were overlooked - dust under chairs, microwave, etc.

They scheduled promptly even though we gave them little notice, were ahead of time arriving, finished the job quickly and it looked really nice. We are a family of 6 with 4 children and had lived in our apartment for 4 years. There was a lot to do in there. Katrina was wonderful and even went the extra mile to try and get what she could of crayon and scuffs off the walls even though the paint in our apartment was cheap and horrible. I will absolutely use again and will recommend them to others!

I started a monthly cleaning service with them back in April. The first cleaning was a deep cleaning. The first 2 ladies that came did not deep clean at all, in fact they left cleaning solution in my oven, no window seals or dusting was done properly and they had to send someone back out to complete the oven and a couple of other things that they didn’t as well. The 2nd standard cleaning 2 new ladies came and still didn’t completely clean 2 bathrooms and didn’t mop any floors. So after spending close to $500 with Merry Maids, I am done. Now they did discount my payments by only $30 but I still feel cheated and unimportant to them. I would not suggest them if you really want the job done the right way. Their staff just doesn’t care or value your money spent. DO NOT BOOK!

They told me they would call two days before the clean to get details and confirm. They failed to make that call and didn’t confirm the appointment. I called the day before and was assured that the cleaning was confirmed and they would arrive within a certain time window. Hours before, they cancelled; by sending me a text. They offered to reschedule the next week with a discount for the inconvenience. In short, they didn’t keep any of the promises they made and proved to be completely unreliable. I can’t speak to their actual cleaning ability, but I can warn you to not make plans around them showing up.

Promised deep cleaning but only standard cleaning was performed. Only one person showed up for work when they promised four. Did not clean freezer. They promised to bring a tool to help clean ceiling. I ended up having to purchase the tool myself. The carpet was only superficially vacuumed, and carpet deep cleaning was never performed. Was not responsive when I called before closing time. Will file complaint to corporate office and if necessary to the FTC.

Overcharge and dont properly clean. My rate came in at over $100 an hour and I was picking up a lot of dirt with lysol wipes after the cleaner left. You are better off looking elsewhere or just doing it yourself

I really love your service as long as i have Ashley..she is wonderful. I was not pleased with the 2 ladies that came out when Ashley was on vacation. Please keep sending Ashley.

I paid for a deep clean and extra for cleaning of oven. The bottom of the oven was cleaned but not the door. The cabinets should have been cleaned but were not. A fan was missed. Overall an okay experience but disappointed with so many things missed that were supposed to be included in a deep clean.

Paid for deep cleaning along with inside of refrigerator, ovens, and cabinet drawers. The cleaners did a poor job and didn’t clean the ovens at all. They gave a $80 refund for the ovens but as I start to clean myself I find there are more things that weren’t cleaned. Parts of the kitchen floor, parts of rooms were not vacuumed. I paid for the laundry room to get cleaned and I don’t think it was touched at all. We paid $600 when they only did about $100 worth of work. Never again!!!

The work is excellent. The services are excellent and the people are extremely reliable and pleasant. They are also hardworking and professional.

Firstly I think they charge too much for a private home.Their cleaning is not consistent, one day they do a good job, but the next time not so good. I have had whole rooms skipped. Most times there is at least one windowsill not cleaned.

Nothing special. Have had to send in a few complaints about cleaning and even though I was assured it was noted and would get better it did not. They keep calling me during the day when I have specific you asked them not to because I am a teacher another not able to answer. I was given a day change so they could give me a better cleaning team and that day I was VERY satisfied but 2 weeks later the same team I had complained about was sent back and again it was unsatisfactory. I don’t know why they ask me my opinion and take notes if no one seems to read the notes. Once I was told the team would be there about 2:30 pm even though I was specific with an 3 pm exit time. They said they did not have it in their notes. Who keeps track of all these notes and why ask me if you are just going to ignore me. Most of the time the links they send me for for the survey do not work. Considering changing cleaning companies when the year contract is over

They did a pretty good job, but the picture frames above the master bed did not get dusted. Upstairs was a wreck, and they did a good job with what they could clean. Overall, they did a good job. They cleaned the filthy baseboards. Basically, I am pleased!

Overall they did an amazing job! I had just bought a new home that was disgusting and needed a good deep clean before I moved any of my belongings in. They were able to come within a few days and spent the better part of the day hard at work. They got the bathrooms white again and relieved me of days of work which made me very happy. The only reason I gave 4 stars was because they missed a few deep cabinets in the kitchen that were full of mouse poop. Would recommend.

My cleaners always come early and are done so quickly, yet the job they do is thorough and leaves me wishing they could come every week instead of biweekly! I always look forward to their arrival. They are friendly, non-intrusive and respectful and I just love them and the job they do. Theres nothing like those first few moments after I lock the door behind them when I walk through my apartment and enjoy it being CLEAN!

Merry Maids provides a professional service starting with an online tracking of the teams arrival and departure, courteous staff, and immediate contact if there is a need to change dates or discuss a service. I highly recommend!!

I had someone come in to clean my bathroom. The lady was very nice but she didn’t do anything. I told her to clean the shower, mop the floor and clean the sink. Didn’t do it. All she did was wipe it down. When I think of a cleaning service i think of someone who actually scrubs.I could’ve hired another cleaning service. I don’t recommend this place. She didn’t do her job 100%

Please correct the name- I am Dianna Voyles, not Andrea Voyles.I was pleased with the first cleaning of my condo by 3 women. One of them was first day on the job which I do understand they have to begin somewhere. The first time cleaning charge was much more than I have paid for other locations. I am curious now if the regular charge will be less?

I can’t say enough Amazing things about My Merry Maids service. Merry Maids (Ms.Linda) has serviced my apartment for months... and after every service I am pleased and happier when I arrive home after a typically long work day. A lot of people don’t understand why I spend the money I do on this service. But, it’s worth every dollar... being able to work 40+ hours and come home to a deep cleaned home - is a feeling of relief unexplainable! Thank You! Thank You! I am today, 1-13-20, getting a request for feedback.When I filled out my paper work I requested AM cleaning. On Wednesday, 1-8-20, I called before anyone came to do the work; it was almost noon.I expect it to take longer than 1 1/2 hours for my home to be cleaned in a professional manner by one (1) person.I have a 12 month contract with your business and I don’t like what I’ve encountered in the first few visits.If the quality of you service does not improve you can rest assured my contract will NOT exceed the 12 months, nor will I recommend MERRY MAIDS to anyone!!!Patsy Stewart

I’ve had Merry Maids for the last 4-5 months. I think the prices are very expensive for what you get. I put up cameras in my apartment. During the last three visits, they were only in my apartment to clean 30-45 minutes. Most of those visits only had one maid. As far as the cleaning, they miss a lot of things. For example, they missed spots on my mirrors, didn’t vacuum under tables, bathtub was not cleaned enough. Most maids will commit to being there for a certain period of time, Merry Maids does not. My last visit was $140 and one maid was there for 40 minutes. That’s not a good value! I’m thinking about cancelling my service.

Somewhat superficial cleaning. My house is small and not a lot of places to put things. However, they are suppose to give special care to one room each time that they come. They could at least do a super good straightening and cleaning to one corner on that day. Also, I thought they were supposed to use own nontoxic cleaning solution. I don’t think bleach fits the bill.

They charged me $544.00 just 2 SIT in my driveway and leave.They NEVER touched my house with a broom much less anything else... and I asked 4 a Deep Clean,Merry Maids of Memphis really IS a Joke.

This company deserves a less than 1 star rating. Don’t use them, they are dishonest & will steal from you. There is no way for you to speak to anyone to resolve the issues. Check the business license in your state as well, in my state, they don’t have a business license that is current.Laura Severance is the office manager who also cleans houses. She is a liar. She lied to me about: who owned the business, how much they would charge me for my cleanings, as well as the process they use to clean your house & make sure there is some form of follow through. She had my credit card on file, which is not customary, they were supposed to send me an invoice after every cleaning. Instead she took it upon herself to charge my credit card & she charged it for way more than she quoted me it would cost.They left my front door unlocked, the lights on & one of their cleaners was smoking in my house. The door was opened & lights on for over a week.I’ve been having a hard time getting any response from the owner who is an out of state resident. Corporate is hard to reach as well. They only have an answering service & the ability for you to leave a voice message. Don’t use merry maids, they will lie to you & steal from you.Each office is a franchise & is independently owned & operated, the one in my state doesn’t even have a current business license.

Angela and Angel came to do a deep cleaning yesterday and did a wonderful job. I told them I could hug them. I have five kids, so getting it really clean and keeping it that way feels impossible. But they really got it clean. Bathrooms- floors, toilets, tubs, tile, counters, mirrors- everything was spotless. They got behind things and under things I don’t even think about... until they’re clean! The floors and kitchen- top of the fridge and photo frames—- all spotless. They went above and beyond- especially with my kids’ rooms. Thank you Merry Maids for making our home a better place to live!

Lisa and Crystal did a fantastic job. They were very personable and professional in cleaning our house. We would love for them to be our regular team in the future.

We were not happy with our recent experience with merry maids. We paid more than $700 for a deep clean and the only good that came of it was the floor was swept and vacuumed and the dusting was done. We pulled our couches out and there was still spots unswepted. The baseboards were still dirty, the shower and toilets weren’t all the way cleaned, kitchen counter still had crumbs and dust on it. When we called out and complained, they sent another person out to finish the job. After the second cleaning, the toilet still wasn’t finished and the shower “was too hard to clean”. I sprayed some Clorox spray on it and it cleaned it practically cleaned itself. My base boards are still dirty and it didn’t take but magic eraser to wipe it. We paid extra for the oven to be cleaned, and I had to do that myself after they left cause it didn’t get done. Then they suggested we have someone come out and clean again before we move. The job they did was not worth more than $100.Would not suggest this company.

Looking for a job well done, on time and at an astonishing fair rate? Look no further. Im a very picky person when it comes to cleanliness and order. The two ladies I encountered, Amber (who met with me to go over what I wanted done) and Freddie (who performed the tasks) couldnt have been nicer, friendlier or more efficient. They know what theyre doing and made me feel confident that Id chosen the right company. Fantastic, top-notch service at an astonishing low rate. What more could anyone want?

I’ve used Merry Maids in Mid Town Memphis since the fall of 2015. I don’t usually post endorsements, but their service for all this time, more than 40 months, has been excellent. Without fail they have been timely, fast and thorough. I gladly recommend them. A few different teams have cleaned my place, and I want to recognize April for her great work.

Once again, I had a stressful day because of Merry Maids. My time slot was 1-3, but at 9:30 AM I got a text that my crew was on the way. Then I got another text that they would be at my home at 10:32AM. They never showed, you never called, and I missed a very important occasion waiting....I called the office around 10:45 and was told that the first and second texts were mistakes, and some one would be at my house at 1:00PM. SOMEONE SHOULD HAVE CALLED ME! I should not have had to make the call. Didn’t show until 2:00PM. There were supposed to be 2 people, but only Tammy came (she did a nice job). So I am so dissatisfied, I am not sure what my next move will be.

We love Merry Maids - we have a biweekly cleaning and its SUCH a difference maker to our routine!

The individual that cares for my home is April. She does an outstanding job! She comes into my home and starts working. She speaks and begins working. My home is amazing when she finishes.

My only regret is not treating myself to the service sooner!Truly, the house is absolutely sparkling - I almost wish I could stay!! They were so fun and kind - we had to wait around in a nearly vacant house for several other move out necessities but they never made us feel underfoot or in their way and kept us company during an otherwise boring day.

Melissa always does an excellent cleaning—today, for example, she vacuumed under my living room couch without my having to ask her to do so. She also lets me know when she is on her way which allows me to exercise prior to her arrival. The service is mediocre at best. The company and the housekeepers are not consistent with the work. The communication is worst than the service. I encourage you to ask one of the ladies how much the company pays them. After paying $300 a month, I would rather pay one of the ladies that amount directly. It is ashamed the hourly rate they pay the housekeepers. Its no wonder they keep sending different staff to your house because they can not keep good employees There is always a surprise when it comes to who is coming and when they are coming. I would advise you to go with another company or get someone else to do it or better yet, capitalize off the mediocre job they do and do it your self.

I have been very pleased with Merry Maids. They have been very accommodating by assigning the same technician, Leslie C., to my home and she does an outstanding job.

Merry Maids and more specifically Lisa M., have been cleaning our home for 15 years! We trust Lisa with access to and care of our home and she does a great job. We have indoor only pets and we can also trust Lisa that none will get loose while she (or her teammates) are cleaning the home.

I was very disappointed for paying $340 for a deep cleaning that is was nothing more than what I do on a weekly basis. The ceiling fans were not done, their are cobwebs still in the corner of the bedroom, the windows are dirtier than they were before due to the cleaning of the blinds. The ladies were as nice as they could be but for two ladies to come over it should have been done in much more detail. I am very mad that I spent this money when the only thing they did that I havent for a deep clean was the blinds and SOME ofthe baseboards. I can send you pictures of the work that was not done if you would like but I feel that this is awful and not how I would want my business out there.

Horrible service. My contract cant end fast enough. Its ridiculously expensive for the amount of cleaning that gets done. On more than one occasion I had to email about the disappointing service...particularly with the bathroom. They give what is considered special attention to certain rooms on rotation. The special attention to my bathroom was subpar as evidenced my the mildew that remained.

The ladies were great and very friendly. Did an excellent job with the cleaning. I would recommend Merry Maids to all my friends!

COMPLAINT: I want to take this opportunity to complain about lack of service (cleaning and customer related). I was scheduled for cleaning in Collierville, TN, yesterday, 4/19/16. When speaking to person(s) to confirm appointment, I expressed concern for lack of cleaning / poor service and detail to my home. The cleaning person was sent to my home yesterday and did a horrible job. As advised by Merry Maids, ALWAYS contact if there was an issue. Yesterday evening I spoke with Kim Robertson to advise poor cleaning. She requested I send photos of areas in question so that she could forward for review/action. I did so. My kitchen is still filthy (floors dirty, white cabinets not cleaned left with marks, troughs(?) to open drawers/cabinets were not cleaned at all. Bathroom shower stalls dull with soap scum. I was told on Monday the team would focus on areas of concern. They did NOT. I have yet to hear from someone today after speaking at length about poor service last evening. I want someone to come back and my apartment CLEANED. Its embarrassing when I tell people that visit my home Merry Maids is responsible for cleaning. I need a call from someone with decision making authority to call me ASAP. Thank you. .

I spent $425 on a deep cleaning. I was told that several of their employees would be at our home to help with this cleaning. They sent one lady, who worked extremely hard for 9 hours with no other help. Did she miss some spots? Yes, but she did the best she could do with it being only her. Was very disappointed that we were told on the front end there would be several ladies to clean and only showed up. We decided to go with another company after that.

It amazes me that there are reviews that are higher than 1 star for this company. we have been under contract with Merry Maids for almost a year. I keep telling myself it will get better, but it has not! When we do get someone to clean, it is just an average service. definitely not better than I clean my house on a weekly basis. There have been 3 TIMES that they have showed up to clean our home and our account was charged but they never came! Our nanny is at home with our children 24/7. EVERYTIME I call to tell them that no one came and we need to schedule someone to come out to clean, they say no one is available until our next cleaning date. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

We signed a contract for one year. It ends in October and we will not be renewing; this is why.Pros: First deep clean was perfection. Management is eager to make things right but I grew resentful that I kept having to ask.Friendly “maids.” Took constructive criticism well. Dog friendly.Cons: Inconsistent results after the first cleaning. Notified management on multiple occasions. 1 person to clean a 2700 square foot space. I always had to do a “pre clean” bc they do not move items such as a night stand to vacuume underneath it. Expensive. Today’s clean was 160$ for 1 hour and 40 minutes.What I would do differently before hiring a cleaning service again. Make sure to understand their “speacial attention” approach. On the days a room is not on the special attention rotation, dusting is performed with a duster. That means that surfaces (blinds, window frames etc) are not wiped down by hand. I feel angry when I can rub my fingers across a surface and my finger be filthy with dust on the same day I spent 160$ to have my house cleaned.That is not their fault though, I should have understood their special attention approach before going into a contract. I wouldn’t sign such a long contract with any cleaning service again.Overall I would rate this service 82% . Depending on where one went to school an 82% can be a B or a C. I can see how it would be tempting to view an 82% as above average, but really the service was average.Today was the 22nd time Merry Maids has cleaned my house. Of the 22 times, I estimate there have been 5 times when an A+ was earned. (Always the next clean after speaking with the manager, or once when they had to come back the same day to re-clean).

Ms. Freddie has been cleaning my house for over two years and I havent had any complaints. She is very professional and does a good job of representing your company.
