Leaf filter is a horrible gutter company. They knew that my home had fascia rot on it and still nailed my brand new gutters, that I spent my hard working money on to it and did not replace the wood before completed the work. Spoke to the sales person regarding replacing the wood a day before they did the work. When I asked if the wood was replaced they said that no one told them regarding replacing the wood. They had no communication. Leaf filter then wanted to quote me again for them to come out and to the work that they were suppose to do in the first place. No only was the work was not done but 3 days later the bottom of the gutter was not nailed in property which cause it to dangle. When the wind blew it dangled back and forth. Do not spend your hard working money with a unreliable company. People just do trash work and don’t care about the people who spends there money trusting that someone does good work.

The entire process was excellent. My sales agent was very helpful, the price was affordable and the installation was completed in a timely manner.

They were very courteous and professional. Very nice to work with.

I agree with other reviews that the best thing is never having to clean out the gutters again. I used to cringe when it rained because the water would overflow the gutters in places. Now I can’t wait for it to rain so I can enjoy how perfect it works without crud stopping the water from flowing correctly.

Leaf Filter was not a good experience. First the sales was like buying a used car negotiating a price...totally unprofessional. Then there was the installation. They installed the gutters and said they were finished. They didn’t even clean out the gutter downspouts. I called and complained and they came out and said they were finished. What was funny is the first time they came out they said one of the guys was there for quality assurance and he didn’t even notice the downspouts hadn’t been cleaned out. This all occurred in November 2020. Now in March we started getting some heavy rains and we have noticed there are places in the front and back of the house the waters is running over the sides of the gutters. I had called and they said they would send someone out Friday 4/2/21 between 8:30 and noon. No one showed up so I called and they said I had rescheduled to Monday 4/5. I didn’t reschedule!! I would not recommend using leaf filter in the future their whole business process is very disappointing and too expensive for the quality and service you get from the company.

It has been close to impossible to get them to correct the unprofessiinal job they did and I have constantly been given the run around and am still waiting 3 weeks later for them to finish.

Very responsive. Came right out. Catches everything, even shingle dust.

So far LeafFilter has been great. After it rains tomorrow I will know more and can give a better review over time.

Save YOURSELF. For 30 plus years I have been able to sit on my porch even in the rain and enjoy the outside. These guys come and put new gutters on and the water now drips on my porch. I can not even step out my door without getting soaked from the gutters leaking onto my porch. Called them to fix the issue and its still not fixed. I get told I need a new roof, when my roof was just done before the gutters. I have no issues with my roof just the gutters. If I could give a negative star I would... Save your money because this will not be done right..

The product has worked well for the short time since it was installed. It will take a while to see if it works as advertised for the long term. We had a very heavy rain in the last couple of days & there were a couple of areas where the gutters couldnt handle the rain, but thats no different than before the installation. We have a metal roof, which doesnt slow the runoff before it gets to the gutters.The salesman missed an area of the gutters, when we agreed to the original installation, then came back later to say that he had forgotten part of the gutters, so had to charge us more than the original price. The salesman initially gave a very high price, then lowered the price by 1/3. Not sure if this is a bait & switch or just normal negotiations? But the later addition of the missed gutters added about half of the original discount back on.The installers for the first installation were very fast, but did not use standoffs on their ladders, so leaned them against the gutters, which the salesman said the company never did. They also dropped a lot of sheet-metal screw in the yard & driveway & didnt do a good job of cleaning them up, so we had to do that so our cars or lawn tractor wouldnt get flat tires. They probably should use a metal detector to find more of them. The second set of installers used standoffs & were more professional.The 5-Stars Im giving are for the product. If there was a way to give additional ratings for the sales process & installation crew, the salesman would get a 3, the first installation crew would get a 3, & the last installation crew would get a 5.

New gutters and filters installed on July 14th. 2020 and almost immediately a leak developed. I spoke with Katie and she started working on my issue. So far Im very happy with Leaf Filters product and service.

The sales guy came to the door without a mask on. The sales pitch takes a long time and I asked him to get to showing the product and giving the quote. The price was shockingly high but longer he talked, the lower the price got. Why didn’t he just start with the lower price? Commission ? I felt like I was being played. The product seems good but their pitch process is long. Their pricing seems to be a moving target.

The time between the sale and the installation was quite short.

I called for a quote. The first price (250ft) was $7500. I declined. It became $5000. Then I said no. It became $3500. So thanks? You were going to rip me off at first. The salesman got weird. I asked for his card so if I change my mind I could call so he could get credit. He said he would not get credit. I said sorry. He also took away the written quote sheet... WEIRD. No quote or card nothing. Also I assume the at cost deal was BUY NOW only.... So old school high pressure BUY NOW. OK. Bye. I got a text from someone else saying they had a big installation and had left overs and could give me a discount. I told him I already had the discount. I also wounder did they charge the other customer?If you have your heart set on screens, $14 a foot (their last offer of $3500 for 250 feet) is not too bad. However $7500 was way to much.The gutter anti clogging products all say the same thing. YOU WILL DIE IF YOU GET ON A LADDER.... No if you are careful, use proper ladder, fit and coordinated and best have a helper/spotter. You can always hire some one to clean your gutters... $7500 can buy a lot of gutter cleaning.The best screens you can buy and install yourself are $8-$12.. I DIYed about 44 feet of screens where my Bradford Pear Tree is. It will block that section of gutter. I used Home Depot’s Gutter Guard by Gutterglove 4 ft. L x 6 in. W Stainless Steel Micro-Mesh (Gutter Guard). They cost $8 to $10 each depending on how many you buy. They come in 3, 10, 20 packs and greater quanity. Not in stores but delivered free. If you want to try screens, for $100 to $200, you can test it out in one section of your gutters. Better than $3,500 to $7500 for whole house to find you don’t like it.Do I like the 40 ft of Gutterglove Guard? Yes but not maintenance free. The Bradford Pear Tree has seeds with stems that are heavy and they dont wash off or blow off. So you have to sweep them off. I suspect roof grit will also block it may be? Also in heavy rain water runs or can overshoot the screen. LEAF FILTER says that cant happen with their screen. I say it can and did it with a hose. May be this is way more water than practical in real conditions. If your roof is steep and you have valleys it can overshoot any gutter cover anti clog system.LEAF FILTER says their design is self cleaning? OK check out the reviews. I do think people still have to clean them from time to time. Not sure but research it.Part of the Sales Pitch bashed LEAF GUARD. That is OK LEAF GUARD bashed LEAF FILTER... Ha ha... The LEAF GUARD is a totally ne system with integrated HOOD (gutter hood one peice) and made of top quality materials with a price to match. It would be 3 to 4 times more. LEAF FILTER says leafs will still get in the LEAF GUARD? OK but with the massive size of gutter and downspouts it is likely it will not get blocked. If it does LEAF GUARD will come out and un-clog it. Not recommending either. Up to you to research it.Another alternative is TUNE up your gutters. I highly suggest going from 2x3 downspouts to 3x4 down spouts. I recommend Doug at Gutterworks in Bartlett TN. The larger downspout are less likely to get blocked. This is what I did and it helps a lot.All these gutter anti-clog products are high pressure sales. Nothing is maintenance free, It is up to you...

Good people to deal with during the sales visit. It was note worthy to share the installers did a very good job, and they were started and done in one day. They cleaned up after themselves. Very highly recommend Leaf Gutter Protection to anyone who is not wanting to clean out your gutters anymore.

It may be higher cost than other things you can get at the big box stores, however, you are paying for customer support and a high quality product that will last as long as your home. If you hate ladders like I do, and your gutters clog with leaves every fall, Leaf Filter is the way to go.

Sorta cleaned gutters before installing the leaf filers on our gutters, but didn’t complete one area. I have tried to call sales person dozens of time no response, called local office can never get thru, called customer service, can’t get thru, called main office number never gets thru. Will not deal or refer anyone if I can’t get the service I need. Very unhappy with this company and the way it’s treats it’s customers!! And they have my 5,000.!!!!

Salesman was nice but the installer never showed up always making excuses took off work twice to be there to pay them sit there waiting 3 hours and wasnt called I had to call to find out they wasnt showing up . So I got someone else to do the job for 75% less

Not good! Especially considering I couldn’t even get past trying to get a quote. I don’t have a day off and took off and made time to meet with them. David Orrico came in my house and began to give me a presentation on the company. After about 10 min, in the nicest way i knew how I explained that I don’t need to be sold on the company, I already called you guys, and I want to use you, I just need to know the price. He seemed a little bothered but kind of acted like he really wanted to keep going thru with his prepared presentation. Again, I mentioned i didn’t have a lot of time and would prefer if he could just talk with me about the price. Which honestly is why he was there and why we took off. He then made a smirky remark about how he drove all the way to our house to give us the presentation and if we don’t wanna hear it then fine. And he kinda tossed all his stuff into his bag. I then asked him if he was being weird or rude bc I asked to just talk about the prices? He continued to act bothered and snippy about me not wanting to hear his presentation and I still couldn’t get him to just talk about the prices. After several attempts to get the price and him getting more bothered by my request I finally asked him to leave. I have no idea how much this guy cost the company, bc I was never given a price. Which is why I took off and scheduled them to come out. FOR AN ESTIMATE!!! if these are the people they send out into your home, I can’t imagine what I would have to deal with when they are on top of my home when I’m not here.

I’ve struggled with cleaning my gutters of leaves and seed pods since buying this house in 1972. I did the job myself for years and finally paid to have it done twice a year. I researched all the guards that were available and couldn’t find one that was foolproof against every kind od drbris. Finally, I saw a LiafFilter ad and had a salesman come out. He covered the filter materials, installation, and performance, and I was sold. We negotiated a fair price and the filter was installed the following day. What a relief that I don’t have to worry about the leaf problem any longer. Thanks for designing such a good product.

For the most part everything works fine but one place ie covered with pine needles and another place the water runs over the top.

LeafFilter cleaned and installed their product in less than a couple of hours. Had a few heavy rains since with no leaks or issues to speak of.
