On August 22nd 2018 my home suffered massive water damage due to broken water pipes. State Farm agent/adjuster hired Landmark Construction to make the repairs. Art Kuntzman, owner of Landmark Construction, evaluated the damage and assembled a team to start the repairs. A team of approximately 10 workers worked for several weeks then they stopped all repairs. At this time I discovered they had stolen thousands of dollars in personal items. This has been a nightmare trying to get Landmark Construction to make good on the repairs and recovery of stolen items, having to fill police reports, as well as filling claims with State Farm insurance.

This company truly saved my home when I was in need of flood cleanup. Their water damage restoration team handled my project with swiftness and grace. Their quick response saved me from further damage.

Against my better judgement I let my teenager put a frozen pizza in the oven then left him unattended. Next thing I knew my entire oven was engulfed in flames and my kitchen didn’t fare very well either... I turned to Landmark in Memphis, TN for fire damage restoration and they really did restore my kitchen. It almost looks better than it did before. My son will not be making any pizzas anytime soon, though.

One of my tenets started a small kitchen fire by accident but decided not to let us know until they moved out. At a friend’s recommendation, I called Landmark Construction to come out and assess the extent of the damage. I was impressed on how professional everyone was and very thankful for their help when it came to making an insurance claim. Helped make a bad situation better by repairing the fire damage and thankfully getting rid of the smoke smell.

My basement flooded and I actually didn’t catch it immediately so mold started growing everywhere. It smelled awful. I called Landmark Construction because I’ve heard some good things about them from other families in Memphis and I can honestly say that if they hadn’t been there so quickly things may have been a lot worse. Their water damage restoration services dried up my basement and got rid of the mold. 10/10 would recommend should you ever have an emergency like I did.

I needed to find water damage cleanup near me, and fast, when my kitchen sink clogged and flooded my kitchen to a point where I needed help. I have hardwood floors that I really didn’t want to have to replace. Landmark got to my house very fast and started the cleanup process. Thankfully the flooding was not severe and they were able to save my floors. I’m not sure another company could have done a better job!

Was unable to help me or give me a quote. Interior and exterior was looked at and I was hopeful. Even if insurance didnt cover it, we knew it had to be repaired. The person that did the initial visit was professional. Disappointed I could not get help with the matter or receive a quote. If they could not fix or repair it, a referral would have been nice.

Needed some of vents changed. Its was easy to get estimate, schedule time for the service and x vents changed in timely manner.

I was referred to Landmark by our mold inspector as a company that would be able to handle everything needed to clean up a spot of mold in our bathroom ceiling. They fit us in quickly after they reviewed the mold inspector’s report and came to seal off the area and begin the cleaning process. They removed and replaced the drywall over the plaster ceiling, painted and installed new vent and fan covers. Delbert was attentive and made sure his crew had completed the work to our expectations. They did a great job and if we have any issues in the future I know who to call.

I called Landmark because water was coming up from my floor boards. They had someone out here before my insurance had even called me back! Before I knew it they found the leak from my A/C Condenser, pulled up my floor and had fans drying everything. The plumber came out and fixed the leaky pipe. Their estimator is supposed to come out tomorrow to determine my insurance claim amount. Once that happens, Landmark will replace the floors. They’re also going to give me an estimate to do the floors in other areas of the house.Landmark has made this whole process very easy. The ice maker on my refrigerator malfunctioned causing a substantial amount of water in my kitchen, great room, and hallway. Unfortunately it happened during the night I woke up to a mess. I contacted my insurance agent with 15mins Justin called stated that he an his team was on the way. They were very professional and empathetic to my needs. They immediately began remove the laminated flooring and run fans to dry the place out. I would high recommend Landmark Construction.

Delbert’s team was extremely friendly, courteous, kind, efficient and thorough in handling my case and they took great care to protect my floors and furniture. They identified the full extent of my problem quickly and removed all of the damaged/wet material without making a mess. And, they did a nice job cleaning up after themselves. Very upset with this place. with repairs on roof. 2 different times. My insurance referred them and now were having to pay for it now. They might be good with other things but roofing is a negative.I was told after fixing a area that leaked again and charged that they have to make some money. We learned our lesson the hard way.

This company takes the phrase cutting corners to new, literal levels. If you get nothing else from my review, get this: use anyone but Landmark.This company dragged my relatively small project on for months. The employees are nice enough, but are unbelievably slow and inept. More than once, I had to call the main office to tattle on Ben, the project manager, who had gone totally AWOL and would not communicate despite my house being in complete disarray thanks to his project management.Installing quarter round proved too difficult for this company. They had to come out over 4 separate times to complete this job. They literally skipped parts of the wall because there was furniture or a floor mat in front of it. They skipped the kitchen entirely. And when they did return to install it there, they literally just left giant gaps in each corner without joining the pieces together. They were dumbfounded that I wanted the quarter round to join at the corners. WTF!They destroyed 2 toilet lids by putting tools on them. They re-seated toilets crooked and rocking and leaking. They left the closet bolts uncovered and did a caulking job youd expect from a toddler.There are places in the laminate floor with visible gaps between planks. There were gouges in it that they filled with wood filler and called it a day. They did a sloppy paint job in both bathrooms (at least they got the color right, though).It was unbelievable how many times these people had to come back to my house to fix their screw-ups and even now, a year later, Im still finding fresh, mind-boggling issues.If you care about your house at all, use someone else.I would like to add that the owner of the company did reach out to me within 24 hours of my review with apologies and an offer to make it right. I declined, however, on the basis that I have no faith in them being capable of doing any of this job.

The Landmark Water mitigation crew saved us this week! Following a sizable water leak, the ceiling in our living room collapsed. I immediately called our Landmark contractor, who immediately dispatched the mitigation crew. Our ceiling collapsed at 5:30 and the crew was onsite within 35 minutes. They worked efficiently, moving our furniture and cleaning up the mountains of insulation. Jacob (the team leader) and the rest of his crew was top notch. They were kind and so easy to work with. In the following days, as Jacob monitored the drying, when he said he would be at my house at a certain time—- he showed up right when he promised. No four hour window of waiting which was so nice! The communication was above expectation and these guys made a less than desirable situation tolerable. I’m so thankful for Landmark, the water mitigation crew, our contractor, and Jacob!

I came home to a busted pipe in my basement and Jacob arrived that night with his team to extract the water and dry the walls and furniture to minimize the damage as much as possible. Our roof was leaking, we called Landmark and they sent someone before the rain stopped. The roof was patched and remained this way until we had the entire roof replaced. Landmark also removed the wet insulation and sheet rock to keep the wood from mildewing. Did a great job.

You call this number and they offer emergency board up service in the case of fire, flood, or any major damage to the exterior of the house. Great company!

One guy came to house and did an estimate my service request. They never reached out to me again to send me the copy of it for my records or anything. They didnt even do a follow up call or email. I guess they figured I wasnt serious for whatever reason. Very unprofessional!

I have been very pleased with the work of Art Kuntzman and Landmark Construction. They just completed painting the interior and exterior of my 3200 sq. foot home and it looks like new. The painters, David and Philip were very through and were always on time and cleaned up at days end. The caulking, priming and prep work were meticulously completed and my foremen, Benny was on-site everyday to keep my project moving forward. I added additional work, and a tile floor was installed to replace damaged wood in my foyer. The thing I appreciated most was how polite and courteous everyone has been. All work has been professionaly completed, and I will use Landmark Constructionon for future projects in my home and place of business. Thank you Arthur!

Landmark re-constructed our water damaged house (an entire first floor) from buckled hardwood, spongey carpets and wet drywall back to where it was pre-damage.
