Lovely store with a very wide selection of instruments. Very friendly staff, the lady who showed me the guitars was both very polite, patient, and talented. I recently purchased a guitar here (had to return because Im not physically able to play it). They gave me a full refund without any hassle. The guitar itself was beautiful, came with a fancy case, and sounded great. Great place to go if youre looking for a new instrument!

Tony is awesome! The staff is very informative and helpful. I came in thinking I maybe needed to replace my existing mics but after speaking with Tony he instantly troubleshooter what the problem could be.

They dont carry every brand, or have the biggest selection of everything, but they have what you need to get rockin, and the best part is, they manage to make you feel incredibly welcome and wanting to buy something there without pestering you at all.I was happy to find out that they also are a dealer for Tagima guitars, a fine line of instruments out of Brazil. Ive only ever seen these guitars IN Brazil previously, but they deserve to be around, especially in the home of the Blues.

I needed an urgent electronics repair on my bass while I was in town recording (I live in NYC). This place was recommended to me by a local player, Andrew Caruso. Billie and her co-workers took amazing care of me and had me in and out with my beloved P bass working great in only 20 minutes!! Absolutely blown away by the great service, extremely fair pricing, and support of working musicians. Ill definitely shop here whenever Im in Memphis.

I dont know why I have never posted a review about this music store. I buy ALL of my musical gear at Yarbroughs and have for 30 years.Whoever posted a comment stating that Guitar Center (and nothing wrong with GC) having employees that are much more friendly and knowledgeable than Yarbroughs......you could not me more wrong. Their support after the sale is compared to no other music store I assure you and they will meet any legitimate sale price.

All the workers there are very kind and honest. If youre looking for something that they think you probably wont need, or could save money on, theyll tell you. Theyre always happy to help and will give you all the information they possibly can when you need/want it! Theyre very encouraging, too. Never have had an experience there that was anything less than wonderful :)

I was pricing microphones and headphones. The prices are current with the competition if not better. The microphone that came with my karaoke machine needed improvement. The staff are very informative and friendly service oriented. I am going to be shopping there more often.

They are a locally owned business and I want to do my part to help keep their doors open. 2. No disrespect to Guitar Center employees, but the knowledge of sound equipment, mics, etc. that Tony G and his staff at Yarbroughs posses is far more superior. 3. Their Honesty, Integrity and patience is Priceless!

Playing in town for the week on a 5 week run, and my bass amp went down. Came to Yarbrough’s on the recommendation of the sound tech. Could not have had a better experience! They rushed the amp right in, got it fixed up, then gave me a great deal on a small Peavey amp for a backup. All the staff and management were very accommodating and friendly. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in town!

Billy Lavender took very good care of us. I purchases a LTD EC-256 and since I was very impressed with the service I also got my 2 year old a kids drum set which my ears might be regretting soon lol. They have something of everything and the staff is knowledgeable. The only downside is they dont have a huge selection like other shops Ive seen but chances are you will find what you want.

One of my microphones got damage and had to be sent off to be repaired. The microphone was sent off 12/19/16 and I just received it back 5/2/17 with NO explanation. Yes, almost 5 months! Checked with them after 2 months(which is overly patient) and they had no idea! I need two new speakers and a microphone but I will be going somewhere else to purchase because this was ridiculous and unacceptable!
