When we first moved in, we loved this place. Everyone was SO nice and SO helpful. However, new management came in and it’s just not the same anymore. They are rude and not understanding. We’ve spoke to neighbors on our floor who have also shared the same experiences. Probably would have picked another place, as one of the reasons we moved here to begin with was because of how nice and caring the staff was. I didn’t know paying $1500+ a month for an apartment came with a side of attitude.

This place is beautiful and we use to love it, but the new staff that took over into 2021 is nowhere near the staff when we originally moved back in August 2020. They are aggressive, rude and lack communication. Had I known a major staff change was incoming, I would have looked elsewhere. Again the staff prior to this the change was amazing and they made it feel like a real community. Now it just feels like your normal corporate apartment complex.

I can not say enough good things about The Citizen and their wonderful staff.. They have made our moving process effortless and so enjoyable. Valerie is phenomenal and has gone above and beyond to welcome us! 10/10 recommend living here!

Visiting the Citizen was a great experience! Greeted by a very friendly, knowledgeable staff. Valerie gave us a complete tour. She showed us very open, modern units and was quite knowledgeable about details for each. All of the amenities and parking were exceptional. Location is just icing on the cake!

The apartment is great！I just move in Memphis and I found this apartment online.At the beginning ，I was worried because I have to set up everything through phone calls. However，the fact is everything is great as described on the website.Staffs of Office are so nice，the environment is great，room is clean and big，moving process is smooth，packages are safe，the equipments are awesome.…What I like most about the apartment is the swimming pool！It is clean and beautiful！I enjoy spending here for a while at night！What is more，you just need to walk 2 mins to Walgreen and Kroger！So convenient for your daily life！Right now，I really love my new home in Memphis！And I appreciate the great service of the Office！The breakfast they had on Friday morning was so wonderful！！

I have been here for a few months and have really enjoyed the experience. Great area to live in, high quality and new fixtures/appliances, nice amenities, and of course the staff are the best in town. Top notch all around. I would strongly recommend.

I moved in about a month ago and I could not have been more pleased with how professional the staff were. Abbie and Valerie have made my out-of-state move stress-free. The apartments are spacious and modern, and maintenance requests are taken care of almost immediately. I have no issues hearing my neighbors when I am in my apartment which is awesome. I also enjoy that you can also go straight from the parking garage to your floor. I appreciate cleaning measures put on by the cleaning crew. I consitently see them cleaning the complex, which feels like everyday, which is comforting due to the position the world is currently in. Overall, I am very impressed with the front office, staff, and facility.

I definitely love it here at the Citizen. I have been here for less than a week but my experience so far had been phenomenal. security patrols the premises and parking lot 24/7. House keeping and maintenance wires around the clock to keep the apartment tidy at all times and the management staff are the sweetest people.

Ive lived in The Citizen for 2 months now, and the experience has been amazing. The entire process of lease signing has been pretty straight forward and quick.Firstly, the staff and maintenance team has been great. Especially on the moving day which is quite a bit hectic, they were accommodating and helpful making it a smoother experience and answering any questions. Maintenance requests are resolved really fast.Secondly, the apartment building is new, really safe with gated access, and as a whole is beautiful and clean - the gym, the pool and the clubhouse are great! The package room is great to pick up your packages any time. The location is close to everything downtown and midtown! There is a restaurant space below the apartment building and its exciting to see what is going to come up there. I love my 1B apartment. Laundry in-unit, open kitchen plan and patio are the best features according to me.Lastly, if you are looking to move to Memphis, and searching for an apartment that is safe, close to everything and has the best amenities, I would highly recommend this apartment!

Great place to live. Very nice amenities and great location. Walking distance to a nice grocery store, great restaurants, and cool bars. They do a great job at keeping the apartment complex safe and clean.

Lived here since April 2019, and its been great! The apartments are great, amenities are nice, clean, and new, and the management team are superstars. Location cant be beat either.

The apartments are gorgeous! Sleek and modern, and the location is fantastic. I love all the amenities offered, including a pet spa! The staff is also wonderful! Moved into The Citizen last week. It is already by far my favorite apartment complex I’ve lived in. Everything about it is perfect, from the staff, the amenities, to the apartment itself. Love it here!!

Ive only lived in the Citizen for a couple of months, but already love it! It is in the perfect location for anything you could possibly need. The side of our apartment is all windows, which makes getting up in the morning super easy. Watching the sunrise has become one of my favorite things. The staff is super friendly/accommodating. Everything is always clean and in the best condition. 10/10 would definitely recommend.

I am looking at moving to the area and came here a few weeks ago for a tour. All I can say is wow! The community is clean and well kept. Kasey was an amazing hostess and left me thinking the staff is one of the friendliest I have seen. Definitely give this place a look for your next home!

I have loved living here! I moved in almost a month ago and I have enjoyed it so much. Everyone in the office is so nice and helpful which made moving in so much easier. It’s so nice and clean and the view from my windows are AMAZING. I love watching the sunsets from my window, it’s an incredible view! It’s also in a perfect location right between midtown and downtown. I’m so glad I decided to move here!

Love the Citizen! All of the staff is super friendly and it is a very diverse building. All age groups, professions and walks of life. Definitely love the gym and cyber cafe here. Great for students and young professionals alike.

I absolutely love living here!The building is super clean & incredibly gorgeous. The apartments are chic & modern, but also maintain that “old midtown” feel with the exposed duck work.The amenities are incredible - fitness center, pool, cyber cafe, etc. All must be accessed with a resident key fob — very safe & secure.Last, but not least, the staff within the building are always helpful & friendly, and consistently doing nice things for the residents (example - waffle breakfast).

In August, I needed an apartment for a job relocation from NYC to Memphis within three weeks, and was able to get them to finish the construction 11 days early in time for me to move just before I started work—which I totally appreciated! I absolutely love my apartment, and I tell everyone I’m never moving because of how much I love living here. Management is awesome, and maintenance is pretty reliable. Love the amenities, especially my shared patio, and the location can’t be beat—I don’t have a car and can easily walk to Kroger, Starbucks, and the 24-hour Walgreens as needed.

One compliment I’m rarely able to give is that the leasing staff is extremely helpful! Before and after signing a lease here, the staff made sure to always respond to any questions/concerns as soon as possible, even after hours. They’ve made our experience thus far the best one yet with an apartment complex!

Everyone is beyond friendly, all of the amenities are great, and it is located in a highly desirable part of town. Would absolutely recommend anyone that is moving into the city for the first time to look into The Citizen.

I moved in about a month ago and have zero complaints! The staff is friendly, move in process was a breeze, and it is a fantastic price for the location! Just a mile from the dog park and Overton Square and very close to downtown. The view is fantastic and the amenities are amazing. 10/10 would recommend!

I moved in about 3 weeks ago and I love it!! All the appliances are so new and the layout itself is really modern. The leasing office is so kind and willing to help out and the one time I put in a maintenance request, they fixed it the very next day! Highly recommend if you’re young and just moving to Memphis!

The citizen has been wonderful to live in thus far, the amenities are fantastic such as the gym and the pool area, as well as the appliances and fixtures in the apartment itself. Safe parking and entering/exiting the building with keyed entry. The location in midtown also helps with getting anywhere in the greater Memphis area.

Ive been living at The Citizen since April, and couldnt have had a better experience so far. The apartments get plenty of natural light from the floor-to-ceiling windows. There are great amenities - fitness centre, pool, and lounge are all well equipped and well maintained. The building is very pet friendly, and the staff have been great and easy to work with.

I moved to Memphis this past month and living at The Citizen has definitely made the transition so much easy. It conveniently located between Midtown and Downtown and about 5 minutes from the hospital. I absolutely love my apartment. Its modern flare from an previous hotel gives this place such amazing character. The floor plans are spacious and I love the bright walls and windows. One whole side of my apartment is completely windows, so you get a great view.The amenities are awesome too. They have a brand new gym with a variety of cardio machines, multiple machines, and lots of weights. The cyberlounge has tons of room to work and free coffee machine with different flavors and settings. The staff is the best, especially the maintenance guys!Overall, I would definitely recommend living here. The apartments are amazing, the staff is friendly, and it has the perfect location!

I moved into The Citizen a couple weeks ago from out of town, and I could not be happier with my choice. My boyfriend and I live in an apartment that faces the river, and the sunset views are gorgeous. All of the amenties are incredible, and the location cannot be beat.

You are missing out if you are living anywhere else besides the Citizen! I moved here 5 months ago from California and had 500 square feet, no covered parking spot, and no washer/dryer. Fast forward to living at the Citizen and this place has a gym, parking, washer/dryer, a heated pool, and over 700+ square feet.I can go on and on about the maintenance people too who are all so friendly and have been willing to help if I have any questions!I have no family in Memphis so The Citizen community has definitely been as close to family as I’ve experienced.We just had a Friendsgiving and the property manager Nicole brought a turkey and cranberry sauce, along with her entire staff bringing different delicious dishes. Where else can you have something like that?Do yourself a favor and check this place out because it is within walking distance of Overton Square and is 10 minutes from Downtown. Enjoy!

Hard to find such a great combination of location and modern apartment layout in Memphis. All the benefits of living in a historic neighborhood, but in a modern building.

Love it! The apartment is located close to downtown and Overton square. The apartments are very modern and exquisite. Residents get free coffee and expresso at anytime with a well furnished gym. The best apartment complex that I’ve resided in.

The staff is incredibly friendly and the location is central to pretty much anything you can imagine around Memphis!
