The service tech was courteous. He found the problem with our ice maker and ordered the part. He scheduled a time for the part to be installed. Fast forward to that date. A service technician never showed up, even though we rearranged our day around the appointment. I called. Customer service was not apologetic and did not offer to help. The insinuated that it was my fault, even though I had the service order and all of the confirmations from when the technician made the appointment. By this time, our ice maker had been broken a month (two weeks to get the original appointment and two weeks for the second appointment). The technician did order the part, which was shipped to our house. My husband ended up watching a YouTube video and installing the part himself. It took two screws and two plugs. 10 minutes for a non-handy amateur. So we paid a portion of our bill on the first service date, and my husband ended up having to make the fix. What makes me even angrier about that is that the total bill was going to be almost $500. The part was $104. The rest was labor. And it took my husband 10 MINUTES. It would have cost us almost $400 dollars for a 10 minute fix! I signed up for a Sears Warranty contract to cut down on some of the cost. I will be trying to cancel that. Sears is overpriced and unreliable. Service contract or no, I will not be using them again.
I was incredibly pleased with the repair service! Our dryer had gone out over the weekend and I placed a service order Sunday night for Monday afternoon. I love the tracking system that you have. I got both texts and emails telling me when to expect the tech and let me tell you the tech (john) was awesome! I will definitely be using your service again and will be recommending you to others.
HORRIBLE!!!! Do not call these people. Terrible business model. Appointments coordinated through overseas call center. I could do a bad review on that/those experiences alone - power outages, system down, difficult communication b/c of language, etc.The service technicians are pleasant enough but good luck getting the same one for each appointment. Our refrigerator repair required 5 appointments. 5!!!!! (7 counting the no shows) over the course of 3+ weeks. Technicians were late for appointments twice and no shows twice. But once youve ponied up $500+, you have to see it through.Support/call center could never access my account with the phone# they were using to communicate with me.Forever on the phone and forever waiting around for technicians - days all total. NEVER AGAIN!
Not sure how to put this. Enjoyed working with Justin, but the issue is billing. $101 to come out and find the problem. More if you need parts. Only the $101 if you get the analysis but do nothing about it. We searched all over the lawn tractor and found it to be a filthy fuse holder. Justin cleaned it out a couple of times and got a solid connection. We figured the $101 was in finding the problem and he did.But I was billed $88 for a fuse holder when we used mine. We found a coupon for 20%, so the final bill was $165. Not what I expected, but knowing how this works, Ill consider them again. Especially if they can send Justin whos familiar with our mower. What better repairman than the one likely to service a Sears product.
Maybe I can answer this after the tech returns on Feb 19 to attempt a repair. It has been my experience that they will need to order another part and return in a week or 10 days. The tech was extremely nice, but I still dont have heat. This has been going on since jan16. Still waiting But on a brighter note spring will be here very soon.
The service man, Roscoe, came before the assigned time and was the most courteousand helpful person. He knew his information and helped me understand what he was doing. He did a great job! Thank you, RoscoeNext came Tyrone who had been assigned to maintain my washer. I asked him if he was going to do the dryer as well. He said he had not been assigned to do the dryer but that he could do it, so he called Sears office and told them he would do both the washer and dryer. I was very thankful for that since I did not want to wait for another man. Tyrone was such a gentleman and competent service man. He helped me figure out how to take care of getting the dryer vent cleaned. My condo vented the dryer to the roof, so it presented another set of problems. My experience with the service department was awesome!!!
I would highly recommend sears appliance repair. The diagnostic fee is applied to your repairs if you choose to allow them to fix your appliance; if not you only pay the fee. I needed a treadmill repaired and everyone else was asking for so much more money just to tell me what was wrong with it and that money didnt go towards repairs! I ended up going with sears and Im glad I did. Sears is awesome!
On time with notification; professional; had to order parts plus additional major part to stop leakage; put together and tested found another leak, he went to pick up part and came back and fixed it rather than rescheduling. came in handy. finished dinner fixins for 30.
The repairman, Chris made contact and showed up as scheduled. He was pleasant and answered all of my questions. He explained the repairs made very thoroughly and encouraged me to maintain my service plan with SEARS. I wouldnt have it any other way. Great job.
The service tech did an excellent job. he is very good at what he does. he just seemed like good people which is hard to find these days. we felt comfortable having him in our home. thank you.
I had a great experience with Sears Home Services. I requested service for my washing machine online and the technicians were here within a few hours. Roscoe and Darren came out and did a great job. I would definitely use you again.
It took two trips out to get my ice maker fixed, hence the 4 star instead of 5. The tech seemed knowledgeable and was efficient. My only complaint is really that there was no follow up from Sears. I get that it takes some time for the ice to cycle through and it would be dumb for the tech to stand around for 2 hours, but someone should have called later on to check in. That just would have been good customer service. But, in the end, my ice maker is working again and I wasnt charged for the second visit.
Doc Brewster, Sears Service Technician, came on 10/26/17 for the annual maintenance-inspection on five of my major appliances under the Sears Master Protection Agreement. This was the most thorough inspection/maintenance I have ever had under the Protection Agreement! Sears should hire more conscientious technicians like Doc Brewster!
The repair was done and working great. I would have liked to have had a better explanation on the one sensor that was replaced. the tech did a good job and was very professional. I appreciate his quick work.
The service man was great. He was polite and efficient. My washer works like new now. Id use them again for sure.
Our ice maker stopped making ice on 6/18/16. Our 1st service call was on 6/20/16; the diagnosis was that our ice maker was broken; the tech ordered a new one and booked the installation for 6/30/16. Everything except the ice maker was working just fine on our Kenmore refrigerator/freezer.The tech came out on 6/30/16 and installed the new ice maker. On 7/1/16...24 hours and more than $400 later...I called Sears service to let them know that I needed the tech to come back because the ice maker still wasnt working. All I got was the runaround and was told to call back on 7/5/16.On 7/3/16, we noticed that everything in our freezer had melted, and the ice trays wed been using to make ice hadnt frozen! So we ran the temperature in the freezer down to a colder setting.By 7/5/16, the ice maker still wasnt making ice and, because wed run the temperature down, we finally had some ice cubes in the trays wed filled. I called Sears service at about 8:30 a.m.; they told me that the earliest appointment I could get was on Monday, 7/11!!I got off the phone and went to the computer to Sears website to Chat. I wound up chatting with a supervisor who actually called my service location and scheduled a recall appointment...under the 90-day warranty on parts and labor...for Thursday, 7/7. All of this took until 9:56 a.m., an hour-and-a-half from my initial phone call on the morning of 7/5/16.So far, I havent seen anything about Sears service that I would recommend to anyone for any reason. This will be the last time that we call Sears for anything.
The Service person was very cordial and explained what he was going to do. The service was performed with care. It is sad to see Sears slowly losing its market share on pricing as they beat the competition on quality and service. Thanks.
Since this review doesnt give me an option of zero stars it gets one. It is so sad what Sears has come to on my lifetime. The company that Americans could trust as the very best products and the epitome of excellent customer support has fallen into a company of bumbling excuses and trial and error attempts. Our 3 yo washer has been broken once a year since its purchase ($799). This last issue has gone on for a month. Yes, our family has been without a washing machine for a month. There have been parts ordered, replaced, new parts ordered, replaced and the same parts ordered again. Waiting now for those to be replaced. Sears has spent over $800 on parts not counting the labor hours. They still refuse to replace this Kenmore Elite machine. During all of this process Ive been promised call after call with updates and appointments. None ever come. Ive had to call for every update only to get a service window of 8am - 5pm. NOT A TYPO. Yes a nine hour window for me to wait for a technician. When the parts arrive this week I will be waiting for the 5th technician. Wouldnt it be better if the same tech followed through on a single repair? Never again will we buy from Sears, never. So sad to see this company circling the drain.
The tech was very nice, but didnt do anything. He said was under instructions by Sears, that if the code was not showing at time of service he could not do anything. We pay a lot of money for the master protection agreement and it is a joke! Once these appliances die, I will NEVER buy from Sears again because of their service!
The technician came out Friday, July 21 and determined the refrigerator could not be repaired. We have the Master Service Agreement and under that agreement, we are entitled to a replacement. Today is August 1, and though I have called repeatedly (after not hearing from Sears), I have yet to receive any sort of answer regarding replacement. Each time I call I am placed on hold for minutes on end and not one call has resulted in any answer. Good thing this appliance was not our primary one. As I am writing this, I have been on hold for over 12 minutes. I am thoroughly dissatisfied.
We were given an appointment within 24 hours, the technician was professional, polite and efficient, and the repair to our refrigerator was made effectively. He even replaced the filter for us. We would definitely use Sears again.
One of the worst experiences ever. Paid for our ice maker to be fixed but of course the repairman did not have the small little plastic hose that would cost us 57.00! Paid for service in full, when the part arrived and ANOTHER SERVICE MAN came to put the outrageously priced piece of plastic tubing on, it was not actually what we needed after all. He did manage to fix the problem, this was actually the fourth repairman to try to do so, but he then tried to charge me for an additional service call! WHAT??? It was not our fault that the first guy did not have the part nor was it even the part needed. Will NEVER use Sears home repair again. A year and a half ago we re-modeled our home and bought every appliance needed from washer and dryer to each and every appliance for a kitchen from Sears believing that they would stand behind their products sold. This definitely was not our experience. We also will never step foot in another Sears store. Oh and by the way, we did have to write the repairman a check for almost 25.00 dollars, have no idea what this was for but was so angry I just wanted him to leave!
Experience to get appointment was not great. I asked for them to come after noon and they called me at 9am. Took two attempts.Tech wasnt that friendly but he fixed the dryer, and did so quickly.
This was the second repair for the same issue. The first repairman merely added some epoxy intl the hole and the screw held for several months but did loose which necessitated the second repair call. The second repairman merely used a larger thread screw with a similar size screw head that allowed proper installation. My concern is that the larger thread screw will eventually loosen up as in the case of the original complaint. My current extended warranty expires in April 2018.
The technician did an exemplary job and was extremely courteous and professional. The repair worked fine and I would definitely use their services again.
Great experience and great repairman. He found a part for ice maker and came back later the same day and fixed it. We want him to come again when we need service.
Prompt answer to request for service. Came to house at time scheduled. (Did not call before arrival). Diagnosed problem quickly and fixed it. Pleasant interaction
Quick good repair, but wildly overpriced! Almost $300 to replace a $80 RETAIL icemaker! Took 8 minutes! Service call and Labor $180!The repairman also pushed the sears home warranty, called and had it set up with his commission.... after reading reviews on web I didnt follow up!
It took 3 repair trips, 2 part orders and 6 weeks to get the repair completed. The first guy said there was nothing wrong with the dryer, then overcharged for the call and left. The second guy (2 weeks later) was very nice and helpful but misdiagnosed the problem and ordered part which wasnt the problem. Waited 2 weeks for wrong part and return service only to be told that it would be a another third week till repairman could come back so I installed the part myself which didnt fix the problem. A week later, the third guy came out and fixed the problem same day but said I owed another $187 on top of the $99 I already spent with the first guy who said nothing was wrong. I informed the third guy that the second guy had said there would be no charge since the first guy didnt do his job. So bottom line, happy my gas dryer is fixed but it shouldnt have taken 3 repairman and 6 weeks to solve the problem.
The technician arrived on time and completed the repair quickly. Would definitely use them again.
The technician arrived on time. Went right to work. Our dryer was repaired within the hour. Phone representative asked when was the last time we cleaned our vent hose, I told her I didnt know. She told me to clean the hose. My husband called back and demanded Thatsomebody come out to check the dryer. Were in our 60s and not really up to pulling a dryer out to clean the vent. What REALLY upsets me, the tech found a loose wire. So had we followed your phone representatives suggestion it would not have corrected the problem.
Our last repairman was very good. We had a situation where our unit had been moved close to the wall and it caused a heat buildup. The repairman not only repaired a part that had scorched, but he also moved the unit to prevent further heat buildup.
The technician arrived as scheduled. He was very thorough and professional. I was very pleased with his work.
The Sears repairman was punctual, polite, and obviously knew what he was doing. Our dishwasher has been running great since he fixed it.
My Kenmore dishwasher stopped working altogether. Very frustrating since it had only been in operation 18 months since the last time it stopped working. This time it was the fuse but it also needs the SAME part that was replaced 18 months ago. The part should be recalled but it is not currently on the recall list. My assessment is that Kenmore makes junk dishwashers. The repairman did what he could to get me back in operation for the time being. He advised that I call Whirlpool but of course I couldnt get anyone to talk to me. I would recommend you buy any dishwasher EXCEPT Sears.
I was texted before the repairman arrived. He was friendly and fixed our washing machine in less than an hour. Great customer service.
My microwave went out late one evening. I called Sears Repair and a technician was dispatched to my rescue the next day at 1:00 pm. Not only did he repair my microvae but he was very processional and courteous. Hats off to team Team!!!!!
ZERO stars!! Poor customer service. The technician overcharged and ran off with the money. They will not provide a local number nor the number to the manager. I was stuck dealing with toll free customer service whom NEVER followed up on my complaint. I do not recommend to anyone.
Just horrible. We have an extended warranty and our machine still is not repaired after over 4 weeks. The air conditioning people were awesome, the washing machine people are incompetent and slow.
They didn’t show for three days. They wasted our time: five hours each day. When they finally came, they didn’t even touch any of the parts they just clicked the start button and saw that it didn’t work and said that will be about $350 to replace the “broken pump”. That day we had a coupon but they found every reason to not use it so we had to pay the full $89 for guy to not show up til three days late and not even touch the machine but yet try to make us spend about $450 ($350 plus labor and survice fee) for this “broken pump”. Well later that day, just to see what it might look like we just opened the pump. All it took was pinching the clamp on one side to take the pump off. . Once we did that a sock was found immediately in the opening. I have done 15 loads of laundry ever since and all is washing perfect with this not even remotely broken pump!! I called the service center to inform them and get a refund. They just kept reading from the same piece of paper and every time I asked to speak to a supervisor it sounded like the Same woman! They told me norefunable Policy but couldnt explain any further! DONT USE SEARS! Terrible experience! I think they train their staff to lie to make money and they are completely inconsiderate. I repeat don’t buy anything from sears and don’t use their business either!!! I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone!
Sears provided excellent service in repair of our GE refrigerator. The service man was polite, knowledgeable and worked quickly to diagnose and repair the problem.
I needed a dryer repaired. they gave me an insane 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM window and was told someone would call me the day of the service to give me a more specific time. I made special arrangements to be home all day. No once called me. No one showed up for the appointment. When I called their customer service line, it was an overseas call center and they barelly understandable and were no help at all. I asked to speak to someone in the USA and my request was refused. I will avoid Sears like the Plague from now on.
The service tech was so nice and professional and repaired my mower in a jiffy!
This was a yearly maintenance check. The technician arrived early and thoroughly checked out all three appliances. He was friendly and professional.
It was a partial fix. I ran the washer after the service technician left and the unit was not fixed. I tried to reschedule him to come back but was unsuccessful. However, I rescheduled a new appointment for 4 days later. It was an additional part that was needed. Works now.
It was excellent. Anthony diagnosed the problem within 5 minutes and then he fixed it. We were so pleased.
Tech on time, very personable, efficient and worked quickly to diagnose and solve the issue. Highly pleased.
We did not receive service as we cancelled due to time conflict.
This was the 3rd attempt to repair our 1.5 year old Kenmore Elite Refrigerator - Failed again! Refrigerator temp is 55, Freezer tem is 40. Just what does it take, and for how long? Weve not had a working refrigerator for 44 days!!! Next appointment 5 more days away. :(
Repairman has been here twice. We paid him each time. The icemaker still does not work . called sears to come back. New appointment 2 weeks away, waited all day--repairman did not call or show. We call---got new appointment for Aug18. Very disappointed.
The technician was friendly and quickly completed an excellent repair of our Kenmore dryer.
EXCELLENT SERVICE..(Prompt, efficient, problem solved quickly, left every thing in order=neat, explained issue fo us, friendly, great customer service),
I was very satisfied with the handy man that Sears sent out to repair my washer. I will continue to be a customer of Sears.
The second technician did fixed and ensured it worked. But it took 3 weeks to actually ge it to work.
Repair technician was competent, professional, and friendly. He took the time to explain what was wrong, how he fixed it, and how to avoid the problem in the future. Excellent job!
Great job the technician 0889972 did not talk a lot, and came in and did what he had to do.
The washer was not repaired. The noise is still the same. The service man claimed to have replaced the clutch and agitator with belt. I tried it after he did not return and it still has the metal scrapping noise.
Sears customer service is virtually nonexistent. If your appliance is warranted by a maintenance contract, Sears has been paid. When you call for service, you receive nothing more than indifferent, unmotivated service from employees who really could not care less. It is no wonder the company is in financial trouble.
Terrible service on my dishwasher.Few months out of warranty, phone guy said he could extend it.Repairman that shows up says there is no record of it and that the phone people cant do that.Repairman diagnosis requires 2 parts. 1 week shipping.Different repairman shows up to install parts, re-diagnoses, sends parts back.Dishwasher still not working.Phone guy says it will be covered parts and labor and apologizes.Repairman says only labor is covered, parts wont be.Sears. Get everyone on the same page. Its weeks later an my dishwasher is still broken. Now I will probably have to wait _another_ week for parts again. This isnt the reason I bought Kenmore.
I am very disappointed with how Sears handled service calls during the months of August, September and October 2017 and all the way to now- March 2018! My first appt no one showed and then they said I wasnt home after I waited 12 hours. The 2nd time the same thing happened even after I repeatedly called to make sure they were coming. The people who answer the phone act like robots and tell you that you are next or 5th or 12th or the tech will be calling you shortly to be on his way when in fact 10 hours later the tech still hasnt called and I was stuck at the house only to be told once again that the tech said I wasnt home!!! I watched the driveway constantly and never left either day. The 3rd time I waited my 4 hour slot and then was told I cancelled! Serious issues with Sears!!! I finally got a hold of a rep in the social media department who fought hard to get someone to the house and for the 1st time he was a Sears rep and thought he fixed the problem. I did pay $100.00 for a tube for my other refrigerator and he didnt have the tube but fixed my broken one for the same price. Unfortunately it was not fixed and it caused major water damage on my floor. I am now waiting to replace the tube. Nov 28th a tech did came to fix my other refrigerator finally but its now in the garage because I had to switch them out after not having a refrigerator for so long. Very complicated! Lo and behold the refrigerator in the garage that is covered was never fixed properly. I have had a 6 techs come out and its still not working! The last tech on March 1st said Sears will finally replace it but when Sears left a message they said we have $500 for a new refrigerator but the refrigerator is worth $3,000 and its under warranty!!! This has been an incredible disaster!
Very professional and our washer works great. Saved a ton of money. Thank you.
We had a wonderful repairman, professional in every way and very knowledgeable. Benjamin is one of the best ever sent to our home. Checks everything well before leaving.Sears and warranty service is the pits. Our home has flooded twice from the dishwasher and three different times with washing machine. The first two times we were awake and nearby and caught it, still causing major damage spent several hundred but n repairs and replacement, we ate the cost. This last time January 10, we were standing in two inches of water in five rooms of our home. Had to turn in on insuranceWhat does Sears Warranty say once AGAINFIX IT!!!!!! NO MATTER WHAT THE CUSTOMER HAS TO DO,JUST FIX IT. WE HAVE THE MOST TWO EXPENSIVE PUECES OF APPLIANCES IN CORINTH, MISSISSIPPI. IM SURE SEARS COULD HAVE REPLACED BITH WASHER AND DISHWASHER BOTH FOR A TENTH OF WHAT WE HAVE BEEN OUT. IN DAMAGES AND THEIR REPAIRMMEN COMING OUT AND PARTS. POOR COMPANY FOR CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS IT DOESNT MEET THE CRITERIA FOR REPLACEMENT WHAT FOES IT HAVE TO DO? BURN YOUR HOUSE DOWN, THEN SEARS SAY, ILL SEE WHAT WE CAN DO. GET A GRIP, YOUR CUSTOMERS FEED YOUR FAMILYS. WOULD NOT RECCOMEND THIS SERVICE TO MY WORST ENEMY. WE HAVE LIVED IN HELL FOR ALMOST A MONTH OVER YOUR GREED.
Technition knew exactly what to do to fix washer. Great experience
Great job installing my new oven...kudo to the team
I am so disppointed in Sears service that I dont believe ythat I would ever op[y yo buy a service plan from them again. This is either the 5th or 6th time that I have had them come out for repairs. It is time for them to just replace our machine. We rely on this washing machine so as not to have to go out to a laundromat and it has been out of service more han it has been in service. We bought what we believed was a top of the line Whirlpool machine along with a service agreement and are very dissatisfied.
It was the worst experience of our lifetime! The repair window was supposed to be between 8-12PM. The tech didnt show up until 1.30 pm. In the meantime the Sears didnt inform to call us and tell that the tech was running late. I wasted almost all of my day.
Tyrone is the Best ! I Highly recommend him !
The technician came within the scheduled time, was friendly, professional and identified and fixed the problem quickly. Id definitely call Sears repair again.
My repairman was knowledgeable and efficient. The repair was costly, but I needed to have it done.
Professional, prompt and thinking ahead. Would recommend and will use again.
On July 26, 2016 a technician came out and did the annual service on my heating and air unit. The unit was given a clean bill of health. Eveything was good. On July 27, 2016 I woke up at 5:00 am to unit that was no longer running. No fan, no cooling, nothing. Just a big EXPENSIVE box sitting outside taking up space. I called Sears and was given an emergency repair appt for July 28, the next day. My husband stayed home from work to be here for the technician. We never received a phone call from him and he never showed up. I called Sears at 4:00 to check the status of our appt and was told the man was late butwould be here between 6:00-8:00. Ok. At 6:00 I called to check the status of my appt and was told it would be 8:45. Ok. At 8:40 I called and they said the man is on his way to your house and will be no later than 9:15. At 9:30 I called and was told the technician had to close out his day at 8:50 so he couldnt come. Hmmmm. Then I was told the only day they could get someone out to fix it would August 2! So after a regular annual maintenance I have been almost a week without air conditioning. In July!!! How do you think my experience was?
The technician who made two visits to my home, one on Saturday 10-10-2015 to learn the problem with my refrigerator and order parts needed, and again on Monday, 10-19-2015 to make the repairs. This gentleman had parts shipped to me and made the repair on the 19th. The 10-10-2015 I was given a window of 8 AM to 5 PM; however, the tech called me early in the morning and gave me an ETA, which made it very nice to have an idea when he would be at my home, and he indeed did make in when he projected. On 10-19-2015, the window I was given was between 8 AM and Noon, and again about 8 am he called me and gave me an ETA, and the ETA he gave me was within 20 minutes of what he estimated. This man was most professional, businesslike the way he made the repairs and carefully checked the work he did. He went further; he checked the water filter and showed me I needed one; he ordered the filter, charged me and showed me carefully how to install it.I hope you will pass this compliment along to the technician, Mr. Kindric. Mr. Kindric went so far as to give me his phone number if the event I should have a problem installing the water filter.Highest praise for this gentleman.Wayne D. Ashford
The repair was quick and efficient. The technician went out of his way to expedite the process.
Service tech was very professional and completed the job promptly.
Finally it is right. Our ice machine required 3 service calls and it is finally working with no issues. Thank you Sears for continuing to work on the problem until it was fixed.
Initially VERY frustrating and repair issue not complete....(2 visits and both repair people were not familiar with my machine - made a mess - first person did not know how to take machine apart---I had to show him how/where screws were so he could take top section off; second person came from out of town struggled to put machine together, but broke a part where the water comes into the tub!) -- Unfortunately neither of the first two repair people could put machine back together! After several calls asking the person answering the phone, to enter my request - I was assigned a new appointment. I had specially ask they not send the initial repair person ---of course they did, so had to once again re-schedule ---I called multiple times trying to explain what had happened and even speak to a supervisor [I really wanted to speak to someone locally but told they could NOT let me speak to Supervisor in Memphis!! POOR Customer Service in my opinion.]Finally last visit, sent a repair person who not only was helpful, replaced part that one of the prior repair person had BROKE! He was obviously knowledgeable about this machine and had NO problem returning it to the correct specs of the machine.I only hope if need help in future I am able to get the last repair person scheduled for my visit!
Best place if moving
Repairmen isolated problem to the house drain not the washing machine, I then called the plumber and problem corrected.
Service guy was on time, polite and provided good advice
Repairman was on time, courteous, efficient and professional. Repair part needed was on hand and installed.
The technician was very knowledegable, professional and courteous.
They serviced the refrigerator and a week later it failed again. They missed the return appointment and then rescheduled for a week later. I will never buy another appliance from Sears.Update 05/15/2018: Sears has not fixed the refrigerator and will not return until the 05/25/2018
Very professional. Repair completed and working fine.
I had a very poor experience. The technician came to install a part that another technician had previously ordered on a prior service call. When he got there, he reworked my original ticket, didnt give me the discount I originally used, and insisted that we pay the difference (which amounted to my previous discount) before he would install my part. I even showed him the receipt to show that we had a discount before, and he said that didnt matter and that we still had to pay it or he wouldnt install my part. After talking to customer service about it they wouldnt even give me my money back. They only offered me $30 which was less than the discount they essentially made me pay back. I will never use Sear Home Repair Services again, and I will be telling everyone I know not to use them.
Our washer was repaired quickly and efficiently.
For the 7th Sears repair visit and the technician leaves without fixing the issue.
I was pleased with service for my washer.
Customer Service was TERRIBLE - after spending over 500$ on warranty they told me I COULD FIX IT MYSELF. Then, finally would make an appointment for me, over 3 weeks out, which also happened to be the week that the year warranty was up. And service person had to repair the belt that I was told to put on myself.. So not only did I pay for the warranty, but out over 150$ for my own repairs that had to be redone.
Repairs will not be made until Monday, parts had to be ordered. The second repairman, Kang, really knew his stuff and it did not take him long to determine the problem.
The service technician was very thorough and polite and got to the problem immediately.
Service is horrible. We have had to take off work 8 days within the last 7 weeks and the refrigerator/freezer has been out of service the whole time. One of the days when we were scheduled, repairman never showed up or called to say that we didnt fit in his time frame. Disrespectful.
$400 for a new water pump, which promptly flooded the laundry room, and we have to wait for ten days for it to be repaired.
Very good service as always.
VERY PLEASED WITH SERVICE.
Gentleman was polite, offered choices for repairs, personable
Total disaster...two weeks to get someone to actually make an appointment and then NO Service and they left my freezer sitting in the middle of the garage floor and drove away...a total waste on money .
Arrived on time with the correct part and fixed the problem.
I needed a repair job instead of a maintenance job so the person who came just got me rescheduled for next week.
Quick, pleasant and effective repair.
Excellent & timely. Thanks.
